Congratulations heather lol I hope it's not a Halloween trick too!! Let us know when confirmed with a FRERSmile

lisa I've been using both for a few month. I think it depends on the person. I've attached my results here from this week, mine went from Low to Peak in a day this time. But I know ov was close because of EWCM and the OPK cheap sticks started to get darker (but not quite positive). When my box of digi clear blue sticks run out I won't be buying them again, I'm going to stick with the cheap ones. I'd just say with the cheapies make sure you do them 2-3 times a day when you know ov is close so that you don't miss the surge. I do them AM when I wake up and evening when I get in from work from cd13.

Sorry for AF hellsbells and wanting

FF has put my ov down on cd13 but I'm pretty sure it was yesterday. Will see what temps do from here.

Sorry I missed your post mouse. Some good news in there though right? Especially re Fertility Smile

Heatherbaby · 31/10/2016 13:21

Hi everyone. So I popped to superdrug at lunch to grab a FRER. It's a BFN with no even a hint of a squinter! I'm one day from AF due date so I'm taking that as fairly conclusive. Think the morning Lloyd's test was just a dodgy test as I was reading about them all morning and false positives seem to be a common problem.

I did try to manage my own expectations so don't feel tooooo disappointed... but in the few hours between the morning and afternoon test you can't help but start planning and visualising life post BFP!

MrsG280516 · 31/10/2016 13:29

Oh I'm sorry heather Flowers it really did look like it would be positive for you, stupid Lloyds test!!

KirstyinNorway · 31/10/2016 13:38

Oh heather, what a bummer. You did so well to keep expectations low, I would have been climbing the walls. Have to say, think it's pretty appalling that Lloyds can keep selling those.

KirstyinNorway · 31/10/2016 13:40

You sound quite positive mouse, although it must be so difficult to not have a defintive answer on what's causing our symptoms, I'm very pleased for you that the doc doesn't think it will impact your fertility.

Eva30 · 31/10/2016 13:59

heather I'm so sorry Flowers I'm furious with Lloyds on your behalf right now!Angry

bassetmum · 31/10/2016 14:01

Im so sorry heather. Maybe someone needs to complain to lloyds about it. You never know though with it not being fmu the hcg might be too diluted. Why not try again in the morning? If you implanted late you might not have the levels for any test to pick up in the afternoon.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I didn't trust the result as I had read something in MN about the brand before but you always hold on to the hope.

I've had a bit of a telling off from DH about testing before AF. He doesn't understand why I wouldn't just wait until AF is due. So we just had a bit of an argument about it over whatsapp with me accusing him on not caring.. oops the rage indicates AF is nearby I'm guessing!

Seahawk80 · 31/10/2016 15:07

Sorry for the BFN heather. That's really shoddy of lloyds. Flowers

WantingBaby1 · 31/10/2016 16:22

Sorry Heather that totally sucks. I'd definitely complain to Lloyds. Think of all the women this must have happened to! I'm sure DH will understand. It's easy to get excited and not want to wait!

Blissfulignorance · 31/10/2016 16:34

So sorry heather FlowersCakeBrew

Pyjamas81 · 31/10/2016 16:43

I'm so angry for you heather! Sorry about the bfn Sad

MouseLove · 31/10/2016 18:47

You're not out until AF comes Heather and I firmly believe that. X

JeNeBaguetteRien · 31/10/2016 21:25

For Heather Flowers
Lisa, Hells Bells, Basset it's my first months of using OPKs and I've got the flashing smiley face (positive) last 2 days (CD10 and CD11) and awaiting with trepidation the static smiley face which means totally seize the moment.
I can always move on to cheapie OPK but really surprised at how faint the line is for a positive day, will look and see how much darker when I get the "maximum" reading.
I haven't been temping as I'll never get back to sleep if I set an alarm early in the morning. Hope to compensate by DTD a lot this week and will see how it goes.

MoonlightMojitos · 31/10/2016 21:27

What a load of crap heather, that is really appalling that they'd be allowed to sell them if they are known for being wrong. What a horrible thing to put people through. Sorry for bfn :(

mouse good stuff with your results, fx the referral comes through soon and you get some answers.

I had an early scan tonight, dated me at 9+1 (pic attached :) ) so looks like I'll be off the ttc boards now and venturing in to the pg boards. Thank you so much to everyone who has shared this journey with me and wishing you all luck for quick BFPs too. It's been so great being able to share everything with you all and find my way in the weird and wonderful world of ttc so honestly thank you all so much (emotional hormonal pregnancy post much lol). Thank you all again and fx!!!

JeNeBaguetteRien · 31/10/2016 21:44

Oh Moonlight that looks fab! Good luck with the rest of your journey, hopefully some of the others will be following you soon!

Eva30 · 31/10/2016 22:09

moonlight that got me so emotional, all choked up here!!! What a beautiful story yours is and a great scan pic. So happy for you. Go forth to those pregnancy boards! Wishing you all the very best xx

Pyjamas81 · 31/10/2016 23:00

Ah Mojitos - what a lovely thing to see! I am so so happy for you! Hopefully see you on the pg boards soon Wink

Heatherbaby · 31/10/2016 23:08

Thanks everyone. BFNs are the worst! I am due AF tomorrow so ill be glad to begin a fresh new cycle soon! Oddly feel no symptoms of anything. Not feeling too disheartened though.

moonlight wishing you well with the remainder of your pg! Congrats :) do pop in and leave us some updates!

mouse glad you have gotten some answers and are getting referred. This should have no impact on ttc?

KirstyinNorway · 01/11/2016 06:20

Congratulations moonlight, super cute scan! Hope we can all meet you on the pg boards soon.
baguette I'm opk-ing this month too, but no positive yet (only CD7 so I suppose I'm still a bit early). Here's hoping you get your peak soon!

bassetmum · 01/11/2016 06:47

Mojitos what a fabulous scan photo. I wish you well for the rest of your pregnancy.

Maybe I'll consider opks at some point. I can't believe I am already on cycle 3 feels like we only decided yesterday. My mum did mention about more grandkids the other day. Lets hope thats not because of the email she saw Confused

LisaSimpsonsbff · 01/11/2016 07:47

Congratulations mojitos - wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy.

Basset I'm also on cycle 3 (nearly - expecting period any moment) but I feel like it's been ages - it was August and the height of summer when I got my coil out, and now it's starting to feel like winter! I recognise that I may be being impatient here, though...

MouseLove · 01/11/2016 08:14

Oh Moonlight that scan pic makes me soooooo happy for you!!!! Now bugger off to the pregnancy forums, but don't tell them you ate a sandwich or asked DP something silly... they'll eat you alive hahaha. Wink

CD47 / 7DPO (according to FF) today. Still no sign of either AF or a bean lol Think I might trust FF for a little while and aim to test on the 12th of Nov if nothing shows up. Then we're off to Rome on the 17th so if it's a BFN you know AF will show while we're away. Envy

Heatherbaby · 01/11/2016 11:50

Hi everyone

Is anyone else symptom spotting like crazy? After yesterday's faint positive debacle I haven't taken any more tests today.

AF is due today and I've only been late once is 18 months so waiting for her to show up. I have felt light to medium cramping all morning.

Something unusual for me though... (tmi alert) I was going to bed yesterday before me and DH were going to DTD I noticed a lot of creamy white lotion like cm. I'm sure before af it's gets minimal, watery and brownish. The cm is still like that today but noticing it less. So I still have a slither of hope but at the same time the cramps are very AF like. Only other difference to a normal month is the total absence of aching boobs and no greasy spotty face. I wonder if this is less to do with pg but more because I have been taking pregnacare vitamins for a month now...?

I will update later as AF watch continues.

lisa when is AF due for you?

mouse I didn't realise you were 7dpo! You'll be relieved to end the cycle whichever way this month I'm sure!
