Pj* where did you get preseed from?

19Laura88 · 30/10/2016 21:10

Hi I tried conceive easy but it just dried up in seconds. We avoided normal lube as the sperm can't swim in it very well. Got pre seed from a shop on eBay it was 16pound came with 9 applicators you put it in with that before sex it was brill lasted well.

Pyjamas81 · 30/10/2016 22:49

I got Preseed from Amazon blissful - next day delivery is a bonus! Here's the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004382GWK/ref=cmswwrcppapi_gDNfybX1X581E

Looking at my calendar below, we're going to start dtd every other day from Thursday this week until thurs the following week. I'm away for the weekend on Fri next week, so really hope we catch it before I go!

Good luck pjs!

And good luck for the test results mouse!

WantingBaby1 · 31/10/2016 07:13

Argh I'm out :( AF arrived this morning, bang on time.

Into cycle 2.

Good luck to everyone still waiting! Going to catch up on reading this thread. Congrats to those with BFPs too!

KirstyinNorway · 31/10/2016 07:34

Poop Wanting, sorry to hear that. I know you'll be as disappointed as j was. I'm currently in cycle 2, AF should be buggering off any day now. Hopefully this month is our month! It's a blank sheet to start all over again. Cake

HellsBellsK · 31/10/2016 07:52

Morning Ladies,

AF arrived to me today after being three days late - I really though I was pregnant as every morning I felt like I was really hungover with out the drinking.

Anyway onto cycle 2.

Good luck to everyone still waiting, I am going to have a quick catch up of the thread over breakfast xx

KirstyinNorway · 31/10/2016 08:08

Sorry to hear it hells, it wouldn't be just random spotting, would it? Especially feeling sicky? Sorry if not, don't want to he false hope. I'd probably POAS anyway, but that's just me.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 31/10/2016 09:02

Sorry about AF hells and wanting. I'm impatiently awaiting the witch myself: I am 99% certain we didn't dtd in my fertile window at all this cycle (due to work trip) so I just want AF here so I can crack on with cycle 3.

I think next cycle I might give OPKs a whirl - at the moment I'm going off CM and cervical position and I'd like to see how exactly that's lining up with time of ov. Was thinking about splashing out and going digital - any thoughts from those that have done this? The plan is just to do it for one cycle to see if/how my signs align, so I'm not so fussed about cost. I know it helps a lot of people but I don't want to do it every cycle because for me personally I think they might ramp up anxiety/pressure.

Blissfulignorance · 31/10/2016 09:04

Happy Halloween girls.

Good luck with the FW pj

Hope your test results are nothing serious mouse

Wanting and hells* sorry AF got you but onwards and upwards to the next cycle.

Kirsty I hate waiting for AF to disappear hope she buggers off today.

It's just my luck that I have to work 2 night shifts today and tomorrow right before I ovulate Angry DH has left before I get up and I've gone by the time he gets home. FX I can squeeze one in before Thursday.

Heatherbaby · 31/10/2016 09:52

Sorry to hear AF has arrived hells and wanting on the the next one, hoping for a bfp for you both soon!

lisa i would definitely say try the opks as they help you pinpoint your window and temping can sometimes mean you miss the exact window. I think this is because by the time the rise in temp actually means something or shows a pattern ov has already happened. Whereas with an opk you get a 24-48 hr heads up.

blissful fx you can corner your DH. Any way you can set an alarm to DTD before he leaves?

I think I have been given a bit of false hope this morning. I've had a few BFNs over the weekend with different tests which I think weren't very sensitive. My AF is due tomorrow. So this morning I took a Lloyd's early preg test. The test is a bit cheap and naff and doesn't work as seamlessly as others. But after a few mins there was a definite but faint line. I made DH check and he also saw it. I don't feel happy or excited as I have read bad reviews for lloyds tests.

I tried to take pictures but it's hard to get something so faint to show up. What do you guys think? I'm probably gonna nip out at lunch in search of a FRER!

First time ttc - thread four
MrsG280516 · 31/10/2016 09:59

I can see that straight away heather! Its faint but I definitely think there's a line there. Hope you can get a FRER that'll give you a clearer result!

KirstyinNorway · 31/10/2016 10:06

Definite line Heather!

Heatherbaby · 31/10/2016 10:07

Thanks mrsG it's hard to take the line seriously because there seems to be something defective about the test if the masses of bad reviews online are anything to go byConfused

Will update following a FRER later which should hopefully put me out of my misery either way!

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 31/10/2016 10:11

Ooh I can see a line!!
The only one that showed up early for me was the clear blue digital ones, however they are pretty costly.
Fingers crossed you get a darker line later :)
Xxx

Blissfulignorance · 31/10/2016 10:12

I can see it heather! I'm staying awake til you get your FRER!

I could have got up early with him today but I'm so not a morning person I can't talk let alone dtd. I leave tonight before he gets home and when I get home in the morning he will have left, then I leave on Tuesday before he gets home which means I'm not seeing him til Wednesday evening. When I'm usually dead to the world with lack of sleep. His job is also an hour in the opposite direction to mine so can't even nip in for a quickie haha!

Heatherbaby · 31/10/2016 10:14

Thanks for line eyes kirsty and littlemiss I am being completely unproductive at work this morning googling any and everything to do with this test. Hoping it's not a Halloween trick!

'll post you guys an update after lunch , that's if I don't sneak out to Boots before then!

Heatherbaby · 31/10/2016 10:18

Haha blissful my next suggestion was going to be a meet for a quickie but guess that's not an option! If not a quickie...a sickie? (I sound like the world's worst employee today I realise haha)

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 31/10/2016 10:23

Haha I conceived whilst I was on night shifts but we had a few hours at home together in an evening which made it a bit easier. Was very tiring 'fitting it in' whilst having to make tea and keeping on top of the housework lol.
Good luck xx

bassetmum · 31/10/2016 10:55

Ooo heather fx for you!! I'll be on tenterhooks all day now.

I'm struggling to fit everything in and me and oh work approx. 9-5 ers. Although the time change yesterday wiped us. We were both ready for bed at 8.30 so we ended up going to bed and then setting an alarm to take puppy out for her last wee. Oops!!

Lisa I have toyed with the idea opks this month too but I can't decide whether its just better to do it the old fashioned way for a few more months.

Sorry the witch got you hells.

OP posts:
HellsBellsK · 31/10/2016 11:05

Ohh Heather I can see it also! I have everything crossed for you!

I'm thinking of opks also Lisa and Basset - this morning I was going to order them on amazon but think I will wait till January/February and if nothing happens I will get them then.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 31/10/2016 11:09

Very exciting, heather - fx for second test!

Thanks for the thoughts on OPKs. I guess I'm just worried that I'll realise that I've been miscalculating my FW months down the line and be very annoyed at myself!

Does anyone have an opinion specifically on going digital rather than for the sort with the two lines? I don't really trust myself not to obsess over whether I'm reading the lines correctly, hence leaning towards digital...

MouseLove · 31/10/2016 11:19

Heather congratulations, saw it straight away!!!! Grin

So I went for my blood results meeting this morning.

Symptoms are joint pain, lower back and pelvis pain, stiffness, loss of mobility. Lost 2 stone this year with exercise and good diet.

Results came back, rheumatoid arthritis was negative. I'm on the edge of anaemia but it was in the normal range. Inflammatory levels were very high & I have an over-active thyroid - which actually shocked me as I don't have any of the signs. They've referred me to a specialist though as I may have an auto-immune problem or an inflammatory type of arthritis.

So I have to wait for my specialist appointment to come through, I mentioned fertility and he wasn't concerned. So no real answers but positives to take from it.

LisaSimpsonsbff · 31/10/2016 11:37

Sorry to hear that you don't have a definite answer, Mouse, but that does sound positive overall - good that they weren't concerned about fertility, and having had a relative with rheumatoid arthritis also v. good that that's ruled out. I've been anaemic in the past and the difference that taking iron supplements made was astonishing. Congratulations on the weight loss, by the way: that must have taken huge effort and willpower, especially given the barriers to exercise that your symptoms must have caused.
