Heather, I got a positive on CD 27 (my birthdayGrin). I got a negative in the morning using a cheap one from eBay, then got 2 positives in the afternoon using clearblue, and then the cheap one worked the following morning.
Still doesn't feel real at all xx

MouseLove · 28/10/2016 16:47

Eva in there for the first offer of CD50 date anyone go higher hahaha

I have my meeting on Monday AM so I'll update you ladies after. DH is 30!!! On the 17th Nov so we're off to Rome for a few days! Actually can't wait. If it's anything like Venice for the food I'll be drowning in pizza and pasta. I'll have a nice little food baby. Grin

Thought AF was showing up at lunch time. Turns out I was just hungry. I was having way down south twinges. Might waste a OPK tomorrow for shits and giggles. Wink

KirstyinNorway · 28/10/2016 17:18

Sometimes I read DH scraps of this thread (not about the donation of a cup of ECWF, don't think he could handle it) and "turns out I was hungry" really made me and him laugh! Oh mouse you little trooper, I'm going to guess CD46. Sounds like your weekend will be lovely, we just had bolognese pasta bake for dinner (and given that I'm only CD2 I'm hitting the Sauvignon Blanc pretty hard) and the idea of a trip to Italy makes my mouth water.

littlemiss what a wonderful birthday present!

blissful that's rubbish, I bet they all think you are actually knocked up and trying not to let them know - and it won't be anything to do with your weight, it'll be because they want a new baby in the family. I don't know what I'd say to them either. Probably "believe me, no one wants a kid more than me, if I were preggo I'd be shouting it from the rooftops". Although I have an extremely difficult relationship with my MIL so I will probably give you crap advice.

Eva30 · 28/10/2016 17:32

blissful that's so funny that they don't believe you!!

TMI alert - just had a LOT of EWCM I even took a photo of it... I was going to post it but don't want to put anyone off their dinner!!!

mouse that trip to Rome sounds fantastic.

kirsty what made you move to Norway? Do you have family there?

Blissfulignorance · 28/10/2016 17:55

Eva I'm a nurse so nothing puts me off my dinner haha!

So jealous of Rome mouse

DH thinks this whole thing is hilarious, I have been more shocked by their brashness (if that's a word). I would never dream of texting my SIL and outright asking her if she was pg. what happened to keeping quiet until you're told?

bassetmum · 28/10/2016 20:59

Well I am royally confused. I'm not bleeding a lot and its brown on the pad but then (tmi warning) when I wiped just now it was red and mucus-y. My cramps are mild and feel in one place rather than across the whole pelvis like normal.

Just told the oh about the bleeding and he was like stop worrying what will be will be. What do men know haha!!

Rome is one of the places I really want to visit.

Basset that sounds like what I experienced while taking my pill. I would always get what I now know as CM the first day of my AF that was gloopy and bloody. Confused

bassetmum · 29/10/2016 07:26

Well I think the witch has arrived. Rubbish night sleep from hot flushes periodically. Horrendous cramps, really hot and a headache this morning Sad. It means I had a 27 day cycle so I should be happy if had two regular post pill cycles.

OP posts:
Eva30 · 29/10/2016 08:05

basset so sorry AF arrived Flowers but yeah look at the positive, 27 day cycle is good post pill.

Strange - after EWCM yesterday, OPK is negative and monitor is Low today. I did an OPK yday evening and it had a good line but not strong enough to say +ve. Today there is barely a line there. I'm now wondering if I missed the surge. My temp also jumped up this morning (but I did take it Ann hour after normal). I'll keep doing the opks just to see...

HellsBellsK · 29/10/2016 09:19

Sorry that AF arrived basset But as Eva and yourself said 27 day cycle is great for coming off the pill.

Af is due today for me - nothing so far. Not feeling great and I have already been sick this morning Sad . Feel a bit better now though.
Don't know what's going on. But I work with 2 1/2 - 5years olds so I could of picked something up off them.

bassetmum · 29/10/2016 09:46

How strange eva keep tracking see whats going on.

Hells sorry you are feeling so rubbish.

Ive just for a laugh looked at what the edd would be for this next month and it would be on my sils wedding. Decisions need to be made about that although I'm quite tempted just to keep going and if it happens it happens.

Pyjamas81 · 29/10/2016 10:10

Sorry to hear about AF basset - what a bitch. But, great to have a normal cycle length!

That's weird Eva - definitely carry on testing and I read somewhere that it's possible to have fertile cm more than once in the cycle.

AF has left the building now (mine only last two days) and am still not temping. Feeling much calmer about things now that we've decided not to force ourselves to do the three day dtd marathon!

On CD4 and will just focus on dtd every other day where possible from CD8 onwards.

Heatherbaby · 29/10/2016 10:38

basset boooo...so sorry AF has made an appearance. It's at least positive news she was as expected and with regular cycles you can therefore predict ov accurately..as for SILs wedding, I wouldn't let that put me off! Chances are you wouldn't give birth on you EDD and either way it's worth giving it a shot. My bestie was due around my wedding day but she had her a little early and attended with a new born!

pjs definitely something in to when you reduce the stress and don't aim for opk confirmed FW marathons! Have heard quite a few surprise bfp stories following this approach so FX for your brand new cycle!

eva I think I'm learning that the "don't trust the boobs" theory should also include "don't trust the cm" too! My cm was was more hospitable in material a few days before my positive opk and also a few days after the window passed, it made no sense.

blissful and eva re my earlier comment about feeling I am looking slightly better before af is due... I think I made that sound like a fantastic transformation lol. It's something iv noticed for years. They usually say you look and feel better about yourself during FW...something about attracting your mate. But I'm sure for me it's later for some odd reason. I think it's more improved self esteem than actually looking better. When AF does arrive I become a bloated greasy mess with a big obvious period zit! Like clockwork!

littlemiss wow your bfp arrived on dc27! I'm cd29 but not checking until she's late to avoid disappointment!

I feel completely normal, maybe slightly periody but can't be sure! Just a few days until I can poas! Must.keep.busy

Have a good weekend everyone xx

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 29/10/2016 13:16

You are being very patient Heather. As you can probably guess, I couldn't wait lol.
I hope you get your bfp very soon lovely xx

bassetmum · 29/10/2016 13:30

Bloody hormones. I was really disappointed today. Starbucks had run out of pumpkin spice lattes Angry i got unreasonably upset about it haha

OP posts:
Littlemisssugarplum88 · 29/10/2016 13:40

Ooh I haven't tried those but I've heard from a few people they are very nice xx

Pyjamas81 · 29/10/2016 13:46

That's what I'm hoping Heather - don't think the pressure around those three days does either of us any good, and get the feeling DH would appreciate longer to "restock" ha ha. Fx for you in a few days Smile

Basset - I got disproportionate rage the other day when Pret didn't put any vanilla in my soya vanilla latte! First world problems and PMS don't go well...

Have healthy meal planned for the week and have done my online weekly shop - feel productive! am going to do a crochet lesson now - have attached my first ever creation - a hat!

First time ttc - thread four
Blissfulignorance · 29/10/2016 14:23

Hells I so admire your restraint to wait to POAS! I always do it a few days before AF is due, I can never wait til I'm late. Which has not happened yet.

Sorry AF got you basset but at least its a nice cycle length, my PMS mood swings can be outrageous crying over adverts or if my cat is nice to me to losing my mind if DH hasn't replaced the loo roll!

I have no advice for your cm Eva? Apart from wait and see Confused

Pjs a less pressure approach is what I do, no temping or opks yet and it's quite nice, just keeping an eye on the dates and examining my cm is about it for me. Also so jel of your 2 day AF! I live with at least 5-7 days here.

I also knocked up a little crochet hat the other night. Waiting to see which one of my pg friends announces a girl to give it to them.

First time ttc - thread four
MoonlightMojitos · 29/10/2016 14:32

Shock pj I swear you learned to crochet like 1 week ago??? Or has time gone that fast? That hat is amazing! Completely off topic (or not) someone recommend me a book or some videos or something, I need to get involved with this!

Pyjamas81 · 29/10/2016 14:43

Aw thanks mojitos! Glad you like my hat!byes it was about a week ago that I started I think - I'm doing this online course - it's good! http://www.gethookedoncrochet.co.uk/online-crochet-course/ Today's lesson is granny squares Smile

Loving your creation blissful. hope our relaxed approach pays off! We'll see. Yes - 2 day AF is not bad at all, I would worry about it, but my mum is exactly the same and had no problems conceiving, so maybe just one of those things.

Blissfulignorance · 29/10/2016 15:04

Thanks pjs, I follow suit with my mum too, she had heavy painful AFs lasting around a week so not concerned here either, that said she did take almost 3 years to get her first but had no trouble with the next 2? Hoping I don't have to wait 3 years!

Moonlight* I taught myself using YouTube videos, a friend of mine caught my first hook and a ball of wool a few years back and every now and then I see a nice colour wool but it a look on YouTube to see what I can make with it.

19Laura88 · 29/10/2016 15:04

OMG!

First time ttc - thread four
Heatherbaby · 29/10/2016 15:12

Wow 19laura88 congrats. Weren't our cycles the same? This may just make me go out an buy a test now.... congrats again! Xxx

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 29/10/2016 15:15

Aww congratulations Hun :) Brill news!!
When was your period?! Xx

19Laura88 · 29/10/2016 15:25

Aw thank you both! Yes heather our cycles were very similar I was trying to hold off till next week but I'm impatient! My last period was Saturday 1st October so I'd be exactly four weeks today, I ovulated around 19th according to the opk strips. The only symptoms I've had are I've had a milky watery mucus he last few days whereas before Af it's usually dry and also having cramps like I'm about to start bleeding. Did a cheap strip test this afternoon and I could see a line if I held in the light, so then did a Tesco one there was a line quite faint then a clear blue which clearly shows a plus! Can't believe it! Got the in laws coming round for drinks tonight looks like I'm on pop! Can't decide whether to tell my husband tonight before they come and risk him giving something away, or tell him in the morning xx
