Hi there,

I introduced myself earlier in the week but I didn't get a reply.

I just wanted to say that miracles do happen....after over a year of ttc, I finally had my positive test yesterday :)

I just want to wish the same luck to you all

Xxx

MrsG280516 · 27/10/2016 19:19

Congratulations LittleMiss! Hope everything goes well for you!

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 27/10/2016 19:32

Thank you kindly MrsG :) I have my fingers crossed for you xxx

Eva30 · 27/10/2016 20:49

Congrats littlemiss!
blissful I'm currently on the middle of tv marathon - up to show stoppers on gbbo eek, I think candice will win. Apprentice after this, and then catch up on my guilty pleasure Made In Chelsea (please don't kick me out of the group haha)
I try to take my folic acid, EPO and Zinc every night just before bed but very easily forget.

Pyjamas81 · 27/10/2016 21:01

Fellow made in Chelsea fan over here Eva! Love Ollie - such mischief Smile

Luckily I was too busy today to dwell on AF arriving yesterday. I've cleared weekend of all obligations and plan on spending most of it in the pub. Didn't temp today and am not tracking anything this month - felt quite liberating this morning! A month off tracking will do me good I think.

Congrats littlemiss!! Wish you the very best. Thanks for updating us - you've given me hope!

bassetmum · 27/10/2016 22:12

Congratulations littlemiss so sorry we missed your introduction.

I had to think fast this evening. My mum was looking at my phone when a mn email came in. Luckily managed to cover it with "oh mm got a good pet forum so I joined with questions about the dog". Not convinced she bought it.

Omg the trapped wind tonight has been awful. Not sure whats caused it.

Glad you feel good pjs.

Eva30 · 27/10/2016 22:28

Haha pjs I love itBlush I'm a binky fan - hope she doesn't get back with JP!! I did the same in sept when I went on hols, no tracking and no temps and it was a much needed break. I think I'll do the same again in December.

basset oh no basset!! I had visions of that happening when I was showing someone a photo or something so I took off all notifications and I've hidden the FF and Ovia app in a folder haha!

MouseLove · 27/10/2016 22:31

Basset my sister was looking at my phone on Sunday as I have the new iPhone 7 and she opened my health folder. With mn app ovia and ff. thankfully I don't think she put 2 and 2 together. She also saw the thermometer on our shared Amazon account so I hid the order. ShockShockShock

Pyjamas81 · 27/10/2016 23:07

I know right Eva - JP is such a tool!

Here's hoping you won't have to take a tracking break in December! That reminds me - I did the best thing ever today and removed the read receipt function on my whatsapp - so people can't tell whether I'm online or whether I've read a text, it's great!

I've made sure no notifications come up on my phone - oh the horror, just thinking about it Shock

WantingBaby1 · 28/10/2016 07:17

Congrats to all those with BFPs this month!

Just wanted to recommend a short book I've just read on Kindle - The Sperm Meets the Egg Plan. I think it's about 99p. A really good refresher guide on how to make the most pm of our chances.

As for me I'm on CD 26. Think I ovulated on CD 18 judging from my ovulation sticks, but I missed the surge so it could realistically have been on CD 13-19. DTD a couple of times during those few days but DH was working long hours at work so not as much as I'd have liked. I fully expect AF to rear her ugly head next week as I don't feel any pregnancy symptoms. Just sore boobs and sensitive nipples which is probably due to AF being on the horizon. Fingers crossed for next month!

Eva30 · 28/10/2016 08:50

mouseShockShockShockoh gawd!! I suppose unless you knew what Ovia was you wouldn't twig but fertility friend is a bit of a give away haha!
I caught up on gbbo, I was getting emotional at the end when there were lots of tears haha - what the hell is wrong with me!!

I was thinking I'm due to ov on Sunday but negative OPK this morning and clear blue monitor says Low so unless I get the surge soon that can't be right, hmm. Cd13, will wait and see...

KirstyinNorway · 28/10/2016 10:24

Hello blissful, I am much the same as you and really sporadic with taking my folic acid. I think I accidentally ate two yesterday. I think I need to put it next to the kettle and take it with my morning bucket of tea. Although similar issues to the basset and mouse with hiding signs - I don't want anyone to know we're TTC so having pills on full view is a bit of a giveaway...

Sorry you felt a little blue about AF arriving pjs, it's no fun but you did the only thing that worked to make me feel better this week too! Yay for wine Wine

Congratulations littlemiss, fantastic news Smile

bassetmum · 28/10/2016 10:48

Ive now hidden my on screen email notifications its just the red number notification on the iphone now.

TMI. Im thinking I am out ladies Sad did my cervical position and mucus check and found a bit of pink tinged mucus. Just been to the toilet again to put a sanitary towel on rather than a pantyliner and there was some pink mucus on the liner and on wiping. I am thinking af is arriving early rather than late implantation on 12/13 dpo. Im also getting crampy and feeling quite wet down there. Oh well will see how it pans out.

OP posts:
MrsG280516 · 28/10/2016 10:51

Spotting is common even after implantation basset, you're not out yet!

MouseLove · 28/10/2016 10:54

Thankfully Eva it just says FF with a calendar icon. PHEW!! Although she's not stupid so she's probably just waiting for an announcement. Ahah. She might be waiting a while.

In other news. CD43. Surprisingly I'm not pulling my hair out. I'm relaxed. Have a cupboard full of cheapie sticks and not peed on a single one!! I've been sooo busy at work, DH big birthday coming up, and other health worries that the whole lack of AF has kinda been pushed aside. I wonder how high that number will go before my body just gives in! We should take bets!!

bassetmum · 28/10/2016 11:02

Thanks mrsg. I just don't normally have spotting so its thrown me slightly.

OP posts:
Eva30 · 28/10/2016 12:26

mouse I'll take cd50! What has Dr said? Sorry I know you had appointment a while ago now, been away. When is DH's big birthday? Have you got much planned? Hope you both have a lovely time and forget about TTC for a couple of days.

basset oh no if it's AF but oh yes if it's spotting, could be implantation?Grin when is AF due, you're a few days early for AF if it is?

bassetmum · 28/10/2016 13:09

Af is due sunday. Its now become a dark brown inch long stain in my pad (tmi sorry if you are eating lunch). Got really mild cramps too but normally my cramps are really bad so guess we will just have to see if it continues.

Its good youve got some things to keep you occupied mouse.

Heatherbaby · 28/10/2016 13:26

Hi everyone

Congrats to you littlemiss for the bfp!

mouse loving the relaxed attitude, I think it's so hard to relax about TTC. I've definitely struggled during my first month, but the past day or two I've also felt suddenly calm and more of the "whatever will be will be" attitude for my pending AF due date.

basset I never really start spotting before AF, I usually just feel kind of erm wet down there but there is nothing shortly followed by AF with a light to mid flow but unmistakable. So for me spotting as you described would be unusual... perhaps a good sign?

So far as I'm concerned I don't know how to call it this time. No AF symptoms physically, emotionally I was feeling quite erm amorous yday which is usually a sign of pending AF and I don't know if anyone else notices this, but some days before AF I feel like I look better. Like my makeup just
Looks better and I feel like I am having a good hair day. These few "check me out I'm working it" days are also an indicator of AF for me... AF due in Tuesday and I'm not testing til she's late! Xx

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 28/10/2016 14:01

Thank you lovelies :)

I had those type of weird feelings in my tummy too but AF was due, it felt like lots of stretching and pulling going on and felt a lot milder than period pains...nothing at all I needed to take pain killers for. Other than that I just feel slightly dizzy when I've been walking around the town for a bit too long.
Hopefully lots more bfp to come soon for you guys xxx

Heatherbaby · 28/10/2016 14:20

littlemiss funny you should mention the weird stretching pulling sensation, I felt this the past few days but thought it can't really be my insides stretching cos it's far too soon for anything of the sort. Then I wondered if it was just cos I've been feeling so bloated by stomach looks 9months preg most days!

littlemiss which day did you test?

Blissfulignorance · 28/10/2016 14:35

Basset I'm on cd 6 today but before AF actually came I had brown spotting for around 3 days same as what you describe, I usually have a little the day of or night before and always for a few days following AF. (Sorry for TMI) hope it settles for you and you get an answer to what's going on soon.

Kirsty I have the same issue, I thought about keeping them in a visible place, last time I left them out MIL popped in unexpectedly saw them and for about 2 weeks after she and FIL SIL all kept asking when I was due!! So the secret of conceiving on that side of the family is out.

Congratulations littlemiss brill news.

Mouse I really hope something happens for you soon either AF or BFP! the waiting is tedious and I admire your strength.

Heather I have never and I mean never! Felt even remotely pretty in the week before during or after AF. I suffer from adult acne all over my chin before AF and get a super greasy look on my forehead. In fact I'd say it's when I look most revolting. If you have a secret PLEASE share with me Grin

Randomly DTD twice last night?! Can't keep that sort of pace up long term haha!

Eva30 · 28/10/2016 15:14

blissful I'm with you, my spots are gross in the run up to AF, I feel like they're taking over my face sometimes. heather lol at you 'working it' just before AF. It's when I most want duvet days to be honest!

KirstyinNorway · 28/10/2016 15:24

Oh noooo blissful, that's one of my nightmares! MIL would only be marginally worse than my actual mother, (DM? Still not down with the acronyms) but thankfully we all live in different countries. Do you feel like you need to give her updates now, or has she quietend down?

Blissfulignorance · 28/10/2016 16:09

Yes Eva duvet days are essential just before AF!

Kirsty I thought they had after my SIL sent an actual message asking straight if I was pg because she had a 'vibe' I replied saying the 'vibe' must have been my super painful AF. THEN 2 days later DH is putting up a fence in the garden with FIL and he asks how long I've been pg for?!? It's like they don't believe us!

I'm now convinced I must have put weight on or look particularly chubby? I'm not sure what to say the next time they ask. Hmm
