Mucus help (seriously TMI)! Normally after ov I get a darker coloured mucus but this time I've had what I can describe as shiny mucus. There isn't much of it. It's just clear. To the touch it feels a bit tacky. What am I supposed to tell Ovia? They don't have a clear, shiny, tacky mucus option!

Don't they say record the most fertile CM you see each day rosebud? So clear and shiny I'd probably say that sounds more like watery than anything else. You can still sometimes get fertile CM after ovulation because oestrogen can still be high I think. *

Purple they're usually around 30-32 days. Don't know my luteal length because I haven't charted a whole non-pregnant cycle before so I don't know if that helps with ov date?

I bumped into a woman at toddler group who I haven't seen in ages and surprise, surprise she's 5 months pregnant!!

On the flip side I got chatting to another mom who was practically my life twin so it was lovely chatting to her.

Things were fine between me and my friend - we were able to chat about her BFP pleasantly and I realised my anger, jealousy and resentment had completely faded so at least it was just a knee jerk reaction to her news.

Captain I entered watery a couple of days ago and it basically told me that's fertile CM and I must be going crazy because I'm past ov. Think I'll give up on Ovia after this cycle. It hasn't really helped my TTC journey and I'm fed up with all the CB ads.

Writer I'm glad you were in a better state of mind when you saw her. It's also good that you're able to balance all those BFP friends with a new friend in your situation.

Is it possible to ovulate twice/a failed ovulation attempt then a 2nd go? I had +++cramps and period type feelings on the 4th (CD 28) and didn't think much of it. Just thought AF was coming. Now I'm wondering if that was ovulation pain I was feeling and the reason AF is so late?? Probably clutching at straws but I just want this cycle to be over!

Rosebud I used Ovia for a while and then switched to Fertility Friend, it's a bit more clunky as an app but seems to do a better job at predicting what's going on if you haven't tried it.

That's despite my annoyance at it changing my ov date! Yesterday's temp was totally erratic as I thought I'd lost the thermometer (let DS play with it, thought he'd thrown it away in a shop) but found it again and tempted late. When I deleted that temp FF put me back to what I think is the right ovulation date. So I'm sticking with that. Poor DH has had to put up with me ranting about it all today. I like a nice clear chart so I know what's going on!

Flashing I think you can gear up for ovulation, not ovulate and then it happen later on in the month. Did you do any OPKs earlier on?

flashing i think this is what happened to me. I was gearing up for AF and then i ovulated on day 38. Possibly ovulated twice i am not sure. I only started temping on about day 35 to see what was going on. I don't know if it was a double ovulation or a late one....

As for Ovia... I'm always fertile, always in my fertile week and the ads are silly. Fertility friend thinks i ovulated on Friday and that there's a potential for pregnancy since my temps have been high since that big low. I personally think I'll wait a few months and then take its data seriously lol. Right now it's just lying to me hahaha. Still waiting for AF to show up on Friday. I'm not sure if to test this weekend or next if she doesn't show up or not at all, since I'm pretty sure I'm not preggers this soon off my pill.

captain Yes, I had a positive OPK on CD 15 - kept doing OPK'S until CD 18 after that which were all negative. So maybe I didn't ovulate that time.

mother it's so confusing! I think next month I'll continue to do OPK's right up until AF to try and see what's happening.

FF is predicting my FW to be when we are away in Rome, shouldn't be too much of a problem haha.

Sorry I can't be much help with the temping chat I feel muddled reading the ovia discussion I think last time I bought a cheap bulk lot of opk's off amazon to work out cycle! Think I'm def in 2ww now though.... trying to take my mind off it by enjoying my week off but we've gone to visit a friend and her new baby 🙈 zoo tomorrow though!

Symptoms - tiredness, tender boobs, terrible headache a few days ago, feel like I'm getting a cold, more CM than usual at this time. That's it.

If this is a negative I have to wait two months before getting back in the TTC bus so send positive vibes please!

Welcome freckles - I got a BFN this cycle and my next fertile week starts this coming Sunday but DH is out the Country for its entire length which means this month is a write-off - it's really frustrating having to miss months isn't it!

I've got to go to London for two days tomorrow (training related to work) and I have to be up at 5.15am so I just know that Sod's Law will come into play and DS is going to be a total nightmare tonight to ensure I have as little sleep as possible

I'm about 12dpo. Had a temp dip two days ago and temps have risen back up since but I am not so silly as to assume implantation. I have zero other symptoms so looking to cd3 bloods next Monday.

So... I woke up to no AF this morning. As I temp and know my LP is 11 days, I was very surprised there was no sign so I figured I'd do a test just to check. It was a BFP!!!

Really really shocked. I tested on Monday (10dpo) and it was definitely negative. Today's BFP is a strong line. Just shows - you really aren't out until AF shows!

Fantastic news Purple. Congratulations!! Maybe you were a late implanter. Fx for a h&h 9 months.
