Ah great news mouse. Gives me hope. CD49 for me. Starting to get really annoyed about being in limbo now, also worrying about being infertile. I was on Cerette last time but this time was Cerelle because GP says it's the same drug but cheaper. I have my doubts! With DD1 I'd had AF by now and came off the pill then later. Much bigger wait this time.

MouseLove · 05/11/2016 19:36

Pebble I was on cerelle too. FX you get AF soon too! I've been so happy all day. The fresh start is exactly what I needed!!

LuciBee231015 · 05/11/2016 20:11

Ahhh Mouse!!! So pleased for you!!! It feels like a body reset and your ready to go doesn't it.

Tommy, yes I took 2000mg a day. I took 2 tablets every morning up until I got my peak opk, which was about cd14/15. It's going ok so far, but still early days. 6 weeks today, and feel tired and that hungover feeling you get in your stomach.

Purpleviola14 · 05/11/2016 20:58

Yey tata congratulations lovely!!! Excellent news so chuffed for you Flowersxxx

LuciBee231015 · 05/11/2016 21:38

Omg sorry Tata only just seen your post!! Congrats!!

Lovechild2016 · 06/11/2016 08:31

Woke up to AF today, sort of sad it means I missed this month but actually relieved as means I know where I am and I've also not had to wait for too long in limbo! Peeble hope she come to visit you too soon X

tatatetelle · 06/11/2016 08:32

Aw thanks lovelies 😊

Lucie can I ask, have you had any pains or cramps since you got your bfp? I feel absolutely fine apart from horrible cramps that wake me up in the night... This bean is not settling in, he's digging himself a cave!!!

Mouse I hope af has come in full force xx

LuciBee231015 · 06/11/2016 08:46

Tata, yes I had left sided cramps quite a bit actually. Had them all the way up until week 5 and they seem to have settled down now. Just take it easy. you should join the July 2017 ante natal club.

Mouse how is af? How are you feeling?

Hi, not sure if I'm writing this on the right thread or not?! But looking for some advice on conception post pill.. I'll start from the beginning I guess - bear with me! Oct 2015 husband and I decided to try for another baby.. we had a five yo at the time and I had been on contraception (implant then pill) since he was born. had been taking cerazette for well over a year, no period during that time so didn't know how long cycle would take to get back to normal. Stopped pill in oct 15 and it took 5 weeks for first cycle then every 28 days like clockwork after. Found out I was pregnant in March 2016 however I sadly suffered a missed miscarriage in the May. Stayed off contraception to allow my body to get back to normal and husband and I pretty much avoided the whole "getting pregnant again" convo. Obviously when something like that happens you obsess every month "could I be pregnant?" And since then I hadn't been and it was driving me crazy.. my cycles had gone back to 28 days, five weeks for first cycle only after miscarriage but nothing. Decided in the August of this year I was going to go back on the pill as I was driving myself crazy and thought I needed some time not to think about trying to be pregnant! Started cerazette again on 29 August, first day of cycle and seemed fine.. had period as normal and felt happy in the decision I had made. A week after this, I started getting bleeding again.. I felt terrible, hormones all over the place... tried to persevere for it to get better but after three weeks of on and off spotting, I stopped the pill. So here I am now.. it's been nine weeks since my last proper period and six, almost seven weeks since I stopped the pill. but I've still not had a period. My head is a mess - is it going to take longer for my cycle to settle after taking a pill for 3 weeks than or did for when I stopped taking it after 18 months?! I have some symptoms (sore breasts, slight nausea) but could that still be the effects from coming off the pill? I tested on Monday and it was negative - I know it could be too early to test, or my period could still come but I just wish something would hurry up and happen.. I feel like in my gut the last time I was pregnant and I knew I was but got a few BFNs then one day it happened and there was the BFP I wanted..I feel like I sort of have that feeling again but after the miscarriage I feel I am doubting myself as my body seems to do one thing and I don't know it's happening...Do I sit tight a few weeks longer and see if my period comes? I just want to know what is going on with my body.. any advice would be so appreciated and thank you for reading this xx

MouseLove · 06/11/2016 11:51

Just an update. AF in full effect. I'm so effing happy. Very light yesterday but today I woke up to a little cramping and lots of AF. Grin not really had any bad cramping but my bloating has gone down noticeably. Feel fantastic!!

Temps are bloody normal too!!! Really positive. Like a massive reset.

zc772 welcome, you're in the right place. I think your emotions and stress could be having a big effect. I've just got my AF after a 50 day cycle post pill. The body is a mystery but I would think your miscarriage (so sorry) is playing a large part in things changing. And yes, not finishing that pill packet (I'm guessing you didn't if it was only 3 weeks) can have massive effects. Please try to relax, it does help. X

Tommygirl10 · 06/11/2016 14:57

So happy for you Mouse 👏
And welcome zc772 you are definitely in the right place. These ladies are so supportive and we are all here trying to make sense of our cycles ttc. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I hope you settle into a cycle very soon x

Well ladies, I'm slightly confused as to what is happening with me as always. but I'm coming to the end of cycle 6. In fact AF was due today. On Friday I came home from work and had like brown spotting/discharge in my underwear (sorry if tmi) and then yday I was out shopping and felt like AF had made an appearance. But it was the same as the day before (brown discharge and then when I wipe nothing). So I took a frer this morning, but it was negative. I've never had anything like this before though, could it be anything other than what I thought was implantation? Does anyone else experience this before af is due? Xx

looby1304 · 06/11/2016 16:46

tommy I get that before AF some cycles, but not every time. Sometimes it lasts for a few days and then AF arrives, other cycles it only happens the day before AF.
Of course it could be implantation - and I really hope it is for you and not AF on its way!

Tommygirl10 · 06/11/2016 17:20

It only happened once or twice in the morning for the past two days but I think you might be right looby as I think AF is making an appearance 🙈 Never mind on to AC from tomorrow to try to shorten these blinking cycles x

looby1304 · 06/11/2016 19:35

I think I might be put for another month too. Cd24, 10dpo. Very slight spotting this evening (one occasion - red blood mixed with what looked like ewcm - sorry tmi!), which I think might be the start of AF. Ive felt so much more relaxed this cycle with the lack of symptom spotting, but at the same time don't like not having my temp chart to confirm I ov'd!

looby1304 · 06/11/2016 19:36

Should have added - only approx 10dpo based on previous cycles

MishyBakes · 06/11/2016 22:00

Just popping back in for a bit, we found out today that DH and I's closest friends are pregnant. Whilst I'm over the moon for them (they've tried for a year), I'm inconsolable at the moment. I don't understand it, but I'm terrified we're infertile. I've tried talking to DH, but he's not on the same page as me, says we have no evidence there's anything wrong. Sorry for rambling, I just need an outlet where I can say how much I'm hurting, and feel like it's okay. Hope you're all well

Purpleviola14 · 07/11/2016 07:31

Hi Mishy, just wanted to say I'm in exactly the same boat as you, OH best friends announced their pregnancy in August, it was a kick in the teeth to say the least and I understand completely where you're coming from. It's an emotional process as it is without that being thrown into the mix. You are happy for them but they've been together for 2 years and us 10, you spend your day wondering why it's so unfair and what you've done to deserve this. Hubby needs to be on the same page as you though, I think a lot of men underestimate the fact the fault could lie with them. Maybe just chat to your doc about getting your initial day 21 bloods done to check your cycles and hormones etc, that first step made me feel miles better X

MishyBakes · 07/11/2016 13:36

Thanks purple, it really helps to know that other people have reacted in a similar way. I know I need time before I get back to normal again, I think I'm just unprepared for how emotionally painful it was. I've booked my appointment with the GP to get the ball rolling. How have the tests gone for you? Hope you're okay

MouseLove · 07/11/2016 17:31

Oh Mishy sending hugs. Unfortunately I'm a pro at welcoming friends baby announcements now. Over the years you become numb to it. Some have been harder to swallow than others. It's hard isn't it. We've wanted this for 8 yrs and it seems sometimes it will never happen but it will, for all of us in one way or another. X

Purpleviola14 · 07/11/2016 23:16

I like your positivity mouse Smile and I agree completely. Nothing can prepare you for exactly how hard it is.
Mishy I'm ok Thankyou, just plodding on and hoping for the best. Im so glad you have booked an app with your go. They should at least give you your initial blood tests to reassure you about ovulation, hormones and to rule out things too.
I've found the tests so far very useful, had 2 lots of day 21 bloods done, from that go ruled out pcos etc and told me all my hormones and ovulation are fine. Hubby has had SA, first lot came back borderline on count, but nothing wrong with motility or morphology. He had to do another and we get results tomorrow so abit nervous for that. I completely sympathise with you though, we are going to the aforementioned couples joint party this weekend, I know they will do a big announce of the pregnancy and I'll just have to stand and grin. Joy.
Where are you at in your cycles? X

MishyBakes · 08/11/2016 09:10

You're absolutely right mouse, I really like your attitude on all this. I'm getting there, I need a couple of days to process what I'm feeling, rationalise and get back to normal. Just needs time!

Purple, I'll be thinking of you today. I hope you get some answers and are well supported, whatever the outcome. I'm currently on cycle 7 day 11, and am getting used to normal cycles now. Joy of joys!

ChaoticKate · 08/11/2016 13:06

Hi ladies.
May I join you please?!
I stopped taking the pill (Loestrin) 13 days ago after a positive digital hpt. Doctor suspects that was a chemical pregnancy as no later tests were positive but I'm awaiting results of blood test to confirm (although I'm pretty certain I'm not pregnant). I haven't had a bleed at all but have had all the symptoms of ovulation over the past two days although I'm not sure that's even possible. I didn't have a withdrawal period last time I stopped taking this pill either just went straight back into normal cycles after a slight delay.
Anyway we've decided we want to try for a baby rather than waiting for my husband to be transferred to his new job as we had previously planned. I've been on the contraceptive pill for most of the past 15 years and I'm now 34. If successful, this will be our first baby (and is our first time trying!).

I'm not normally much of a sharer but I don't want to tell anyone in real life we're trying and then have to deal with constant scrutiny so I found myself here! Nice to meet you all.

MouseLove · 08/11/2016 13:37

Hi Kate! Welcome. Relax, put your feet up and enjoy the process. AF might take a little time to appear but with it comes the excitement of TTC. Don't worry too much about the tests at this stage until you have all results back. FX for a good outcome. X

Your stats are similar to mine, hope you get your BFP soon.

bassetmum · 08/11/2016 14:10

Hi kate. Welcome. You'll find most of us haven't told anyone that we are ttc. I know for me this has been a great way to voice my questions and worries.

Cd11 today for me and noticed my first little bit of ewcm so dtd tonight but we were going to anyway as im trying every other day from cd9 this month till about cd17/19.

MilleniumTalcum · 08/11/2016 20:02

Hi there Smile

Am a newbie. Just read the entire thread. So many BFPs! Congrats to everyone. And good luck highHopes . Flowers for BoBo90

I'm just behind you mouse . Stopped the pill and had a withdrawal bleed that ended on the 21st October. Now just trying and failling not to symptom spot as it's my first cycle post-pill.

But I've had hip/back twinges and pain as well as darker, wider areolas (plus bloody painful nips!!), nausea & dizziness, some very light spotting a week and a half ago and I just feel so pregnant, like I did with my first baby. But up until yesterday i've only had BFNs (couldn't resist testing early) and i'm just trying to tell myself that the chances of falling pregnant on my first cycle are lowwwww . I'd only been on the pill for 3 months too which probably caused my hormones to panic. My poor pituitary gland/ovaries Grin

Here's to more BFPs to come for everyone! Brew
