11 dpo cd 34. Af due in about 3/4 ish days (though my luteal phase has been getting longer with the use of B complex from its min of 9 days at the beginning of the year). AF type cramps right now, so not thinking it will be a bfp. Taking my FRER tomorrow morning (if I remember not to wee!!). Not working tomorrow (yippee) and not sure I could test before going to work as bfn puts me in a right mood.

Temp 36.60 this morning. Steady from last few days (though dip to coverline of 36.39 three days ago). Never had consistent temps this high before!

LondonJem · 23/09/2016 08:24

Ooh Kate that sounds very promising! Really hoping to see your bfp tomorrow fx fx

It was good footy! Only used a bit and didn't use the applicator, hopefully enough to help swimmers along. So that's days 8+9 so far, now he is away until Sunday Hmm

Tee4me · 23/09/2016 09:40

Good luck Kate! FX!
Jem Do you have an idea of when you generally ovulate? Hopefully you'll have a couple of days to refuel your uterus with lots of swimmers when hubby gets back, you're still quite early in your cycle.
CD18 over here. Footy I've ditched taking my bbt, but I do have the odd weak moment where I'll randomly take my temp in the day, and it's consistently fairly low, around 36.3something. I used to always be more like 36.6something post ov. Silly to worry about it as I got advice from my acupuncturist to take no notice, and I didn't take any temps pre-ov, so could have been much lower still.
Probably 6dpp, not feeling anything unusual. Footy I still feel confident you ovulated, have you continued opks and DTD regularly?

LondonJem · 23/09/2016 13:22

Step away from the thermometer tee! Wink distract distract distract! There is no such thing as a TWW!

Who am I kidding Hmm

I ovulate day 16, which is Thursday. He gets back Sunday for shag fest. Currently he has another trip lined up to leave Wednesday but if he tries to go I will stage a protest - hide his ID badge and lie in front of his car. Reasonable, you know.

Jem - lol! Smile sounds like a plan! Hope you get him to stay.. You are so lucky you know when you ovulate each month. Wish mine was predictable.

Tee - yes I've been doing opks and they are all faint. Had a grumbling cramp in ovaries yesterday and what I think looked a bit like fertile mucus but no hint of a positive opk. After ovulation( if it did happen) I did the deed every other day more or less incase I didn't ovulate and lots of opks- didn't have anymore surges. Plan to attempt sat night too. Think I'm addicted to temping! It drives me nuts. My temps are usually in the 36.60 plus range for post ovulation. So that's why I'm doubting. Can it fluctuate month to month?

Id be 9dpo if I did ovulate? But would be expecting some symptoms if I were upduffed. Tired, but been swimming every day so just that. Rubbish..

Kate- got a feeling you might be our next BFP! That's a good temp.

Tee4me · 23/09/2016 14:19

Hilarious Jem! Definitely think your most import dates would be Sun-Weds if you do ov Thurs, so timing could be worse! I hope you get him to stay, as a couple of bonus' Thursday and Friday could cover you completely if egg is a bit slow off the mark.
I need to step awaaaaay from the thermometer!!
Footy, the ranges can definitely change cycle to cycle. When I was temping properly (I guess at least 6 months!), there was quite a marked difference between my lowest and highest coverline. I did have a cycle where my temps now (in 36.3ish range) are consistent with having ovulated. But there were other cycles where that would definitely be a pre ov reading. There were a couple of cycles where I was down to 35 something! I think the moral of the story is if you're going to just dip in and out of temping, you just won't get a full and accurate picture of what's going on, so it will just drive you nuts. Probably do it properly or not at all, so that's me weaning off the thermometer!!

LondonJem · 23/09/2016 15:43

To be honest foot I'm only going on OPKs as I have never temped. I am lucky to get a reliably positive OPK test at the right time each month, accompanied by lots of ovulation pain niggles, so I'm pretty sure it's happening. No hint of a flipping BFP though for over 9 months now Envy

You guys are probably still too early to have any symptoms. From how I understand it, up until HSG starts being produced post implantation, you will feel the same - pregnant or not pregnant. Progesterone floods your body after ovulation either way. If eggo gets lucky then progesterone keeps going up and up. If she doesn't meet her match, she dies and progesterone falls away, you get your period. I've found I can tell when the progesterone drops - I start feeling more normal, less hormonally mental, boob pain goes etc.

BFP defo due on this thread this month I reckon...

Footy1 · 23/09/2016 21:54

That's interesting tee, will see if AF comes when it should that way I'll know if ovulated or not. Don't think I'll temp next cycle (she says!)

Yes we are definitely overdue a BFP.

Date weekend this weekend so enjoying a bit of DH time. Typically he's been right up for dtd last couple of nights incl tonight but never around ovulation week eh?!!

Jem, few people I know say they fell preg with no symptoms, but had all positive symptoms every other month when they wasn't!

Hope you are all looking forward to a nice weekend!

Waves to everyone. Smile
Positive note- Would be great to meet up for a drink Wineafter all our babies are born!

physicskate · 23/09/2016 22:10

Well, not thinking it will be this month... No real symptoms. Cramps, but could be for af. Boobs aching, but that's same for the last three cycles.

CD 34. GRRRR irregular cycles. So few chances! All very disheartening.

I tried ditching the opks and bbt this month. It didn't work when on cd 16 I was quite sure nothing had happened. 12 dpo tomorrow and tempted to break out the FRER just to confirm that it is NOT this month... again!!!

Tee4me · 24/09/2016 08:41

I agree BFP will come when we least expect it!! You really can't expect to have too many signs

physicskate · 24/09/2016 09:20

Bfn with frer. On to cycle 6.

I guess I can go ahead and apply for that job at the day school... No Saturday school and they finish at 4pm! Heaven!

I'd still rather be upduffed...

LondonJem · 24/09/2016 09:27

Thanks jodders Grin

Up for baby meet footy!

Hoping there's still time for a surprise bfp for you kate fx

Day 10 Star DH gets home tomorrow morning and will be marched straight to the bedroom. Hopefully in a more sexy and enjoyable way than that sounds! Will star OPK today.

OP posts:
Footy1 · 24/09/2016 11:22

Sorry Kate, yes I too hope you will get a BFP tomorrow. Think wise to apply for job- I just joined a gym on 12 month contract. Can't put life on hold.

Slight cramps this morningHmm

Jodders- like the pic! X

Tee4me · 24/09/2016 12:00

Haha Jodders, haven't seen that one before x

Tee4me · 24/09/2016 12:02

Sorry Kate Sad Definitely apply for any jobs you're interested in! You still
Have a least 9 months left of work either way, and better to have a job you enjoy more to come back to after mat leave x

physicskate · 24/09/2016 13:34

Feeling pretty low today. Like crying. I knew this was going to happen! At least I am not in work today... hence why I tested today instead of waiting for AF.

I am sure I will feel more positive once Af and next viable cycle actually starts. DH made a jibe about all of my charts and tracking, but how the hell else would we do this without me making him have sex every night? Irregular cycle is getting me down.

LondonJem · 24/09/2016 13:41

Big hug kate Flowers the day AF is due is the worst day of my cycle, I always feel so low. Once I'm a few days into AF I feel much more positive and start looking forward to fertile week again. It won't be long til you are back on it.

OP posts:
Footy1 · 24/09/2016 16:47

Kate, are your cycles irregular because of ovulation varying or is it your lp that changes?
It's so frustrating when ovulation date changes as makes planning a hopeless project. Sorry you feel down Flowers

I'm 10dpo but haven't even thought about testing as I'm not sure I ovulated so have put it at the back of my mind. Keep getting woken up with hot flashes from the clomid.

physicskate · 24/09/2016 16:54

My LP was fluctuating (I think) before we started ttc (only based on cm), but vit B seems to have sorted that. LP now a reasonably reliable 14 days. It's ov that fluctuates anytime between cd 16 and 25 in the last 5/6 cycles... 25 day fp = 40 day cycle, so I just feel like I'm not getting many chances! And then when we do get the chance, it doesn't flipping happen...

How can I get my cycles more regular? I started taking agnus castus at the start of last cycle but stopped cd 10... and I didn't end up with ov until cd 23! So in the last 6 months I've only had 5 cycles.

Facebook is unbearable because of the baby photos and pregnancy announcements. How are you all coping?

physicskate · 24/09/2016 16:56

And it wasn't BC that could have done this - I haven't been on hormonal contraception for at least 8 years! Had my copper coil taken out last November...

Tee4me · 24/09/2016 17:26

Oh Kate I feel for you! TTC is bad enough without having mega long cycles to contend with. I'm quite lucky being on 11th cycle but only 9th months.
Facebook is a bit of a killer. So many birth announcements, I find myself spending less and less time on it. I didn't announce pregnancy last time on there, did the birth but then tried to keep all the mummy stuff to a minimum. You never know what other people are going through.

LondonJem · 24/09/2016 17:59

Completely sympathise kate it's an emotional rollercoaster, we have so little control, and it's something we all want so much.

I've started to feel a bit more accepting that it's taking a long time. I was completely beside myself at the 7,8 cycles point. Now I'm cycle 10 and just sort of feel resigned Sad

I'm a bit more worried we will need help now that DH has had this low morphology reading, but it does seem very unclear what this actually means. The general consensus seems to be it will make it take longer - but how much longer? I'm 33 in December and I want more than one baby!

Who knew this would ever be this hard Sad

OP posts:
Footy1 · 24/09/2016 22:18

I feel I've wasted loads of months too with mucked up cycles of delayed ovulation and completely missed an AF with what I thought was implantation bleed. Really sucks..

So today I get a positive opk and more cramps. Now in the past I've had a positive opk before AF, so I'm going to try to dtd just incase. Big sigh..Hmm

Jem- could just be a one off for his swimmers. Don't worry X

physicskate · 24/09/2016 22:58

I know you all can sympathise, which is the only reason I can say how much it has all really frustrated me and got me down today. I'm sure I'll feel a bit more positive once af starts...

Had a chat with dh who thinks he was too worn out by Dtd every other day until I ov'd way back on cd 23... And that he felt a lot of pressure. And I agree!! Not sure if gp could help with irregularity? Probes not... I don't have any diagnosis or anything that I know should be causing it.
