That's interesting re your acupuncturist tee. I've thought about temping a few times but always decided that I want to spend less time analysing and obsessing rather than more. I feel quite confident with positive OPK and ovulation pain that I know it's happening and when to DTD. Are you going to pause it for a bit and see?

I have just bought some preseed off amazon, thought why not. Hopefully it'll give the swimmers a better chance.

Tee- interesting that you also having a dip in temps. I haven't had a positive opk still which is odd. I've ordered some different opks as I'm not sure I can rely on them. Will see if AF arrives when it's due? Not had anymore pains or EWCM. In the past my body keeps trying to ovulate which it hasn't this time. Maybe I have ovulated? Agree think the temping is stressing me out. Next cycle in not doing anything.. Just going to go with flow.
Yes I think u are right, Nim said to keep going after ovulation too- might b something in it!

Jem- also heard that men's morphology changes day to day. Factors of booze, smoking, stress and diet. So don't think u need to worry.

Mimi- sorry for heavy AF hope it leaves u soon. Xx

Footy1 · 21/09/2016 19:04

Oh btw I've sprained two fingers! Great! ConfusedOnly wish it was from bedroom acrobatics.Hmm

Not entirely certain how I managed to do it!? Crazy

Footy1 · 21/09/2016 19:07

Jem- I'm also on the preseed. It's really slippery stuff Blush I only use a pea sized amount! Ha ha depends how much u need but don't overdo it otherwise a slippery slope and the swimmers all fall out.

LondonJem · 22/09/2016 08:43

I'll bear that in mind footy! I think it makes sense to try out an untracked cycle next month - it sounds like it would suit your oh too. Although fx your bfp is just around the corner and you won't need to Smile

Day 9 today and we started DTD last night. I really couldn't be bothered but thought we might as well get started! Will start OPK tomorrow I think, I usually ovulate day 15-16. Still waiting for DH to swap his trip next week - this is stressing me out the most. I really don't want to ask him to call in sick Sad

Footy meant to ask about your hand! How strange you don't know how it happened!!

Mimilicious013 · 22/09/2016 09:30

tee good luck on binning the thermometer.you are so right about adding a few shags after ov.we might just be missing the egg.

jem I hope oh delays his trip.you wouldn't want to miss a cycle Hmm

Hope you have already ov foot and rooting for your bfp

Footy1 · 22/09/2016 11:12

Spoke to my friend who's a midwife today and she put this in my head.. Food for thought..

She has a pregnant lady who visited her clinic and she said it took her 2 years to get pregnant with her first child (she's now pregnant with her second child). She saw a fertility expert when she was trying for so long who told her there was nothing wrong with her apart from a tilted cervix. As soon as she changed position and tilted her hips she fell pregnant with her first. Second time around she fell on the first month she tried.

I think I remember something about a nurse telling me my cervix was an awkward position on a smear.. So going to try make sure my hips are tilted and raised after dtd. Something I did first month of trying but gave up afterwards. Also she mentioned from behind is a good angle.

Footy1 · 22/09/2016 11:13

So today my temp rose up a little bit but I'm still not sure I ovulated. Trying to get hold of my gynae - but he's not called me back yet. Grrr

LondonJem · 22/09/2016 12:17

footy I've heard from behind is a good angle might try that next week. I know I've got a tilted uterus from a scan years ago, but there's no consensus on whether that affects conception or not. My obstetrician friend says none at all.

It's just good old fashioned approach for me mim with some preseed thrown in this cycle. Trying to stick with keep calm and DTD!

I remember Radders saying during her 2 successful cycles they had tried from behind! Interesting.
How are our grads? Jodders I reckon you know the sex by now?? x

Footy1 · 22/09/2016 13:17

Oooh yes I can't wait to hear Jodders?
*
Parney-* do u know yours yet?

LondonJem · 22/09/2016 13:23

Didn't realise preseed came with applicators?! Does anyone use the applicator??

OP posts:
Parney · 22/09/2016 17:44

All going well Tee, terribly uncomfortable in bed at night and back pain when I wake up. Other than that, no complaints!
Footy I'm not sure I'll find out. Part of me wants to just book a private scan and tell nobody but then I think how I've only 14 weeks left. Gah I don't know!!!!
Will any of you find out when the time comes? Those DC find out before?
Still reading all the time and constantly rooting for you all!!!!

Nimisha · 22/09/2016 18:31

Hi all,

Parney I did find out with my two, though with mu first the sonographer wasn't sure and said probably a girl (she was right.)

Jem, i was thinking of getting preseed and read an article about using the applicator 30 mins before dtd and waiting and letting the excess come away so there wasn't too much.

Footy, thats interesting, with my first two I conceived really quickly and I did the legs thing (legs up in the ai agains the wall after dtd, but I wasn't allowed to this time (DH didn't want to feel DTD was all about getting pregnant) so just tilted my hips a bit after. I don't now if that had an effect.

Tee, I gave up on temping as it was doing my nut in. I still did opks but tried to dtd every other day AFTER ov as well.

Mimi I'm glad AF is on its way out, sorry the witch got you though. Have you felt any different with the clomid?

Kate, how are you?

Me, I've been getting nausea the last few days from about 12 to 3. Still got sore boobs and DS managed to elbow me yesterday which hurt! Wondering when to register with the midwife, I don't want to tempt fate if its not a sticky bean. Thinking about a private scan but its £100 and thats a lot of money to spend, which could go on other things!

Footy1 · 22/09/2016 18:54

Jem- Yep I used the applicator with a tiny bit in so its not too much. But depending how much your noo noo needs. First time I did it - it was too slippery Blush.

Works better for me to do a pea sized amount at the entrance which I used my finger. Made dtd much more comfortable and haven't got any Uti's since doing it with that.

Parney- hiya! I didn't find out with both of my boys. But def will find out if I eventually get pregnant again.
Have you got a tummy pillow to use? I used that to help support bump which helped with my back.

Nim- nausea is a good sign as your hormones are obviously strong. Glad you are ok. What will the age gap be between your dc's ?

Kate- have you tested yet? Fingers crossed, hope you are ok. X

LondonJem · 22/09/2016 18:57

Hi parney oh my goodness not long to go now! How exciting. Glad to still have your support. Finding out the sex - we have both always said we wouldn't. Just need the opportunity to put this to the test now Smile

nim glad all going well, totally imagine the dilemma over the private scan. I think if no reason to worry then hopefully the weeks will slip by until your NHS one.

physicskate · 22/09/2016 18:59

Hi!

10 dpo cd 33. Very sore boobs (since 2 dpo). Weeing a fair bit (but making more of an effort to drink more water). Bit crampy/ twingey still. Going to test with FRER on Saturday (12 dpo). Oh and I had 'ovulation dip' down to coverline 8 dpo.

Trying not to think it could be this month cause another FAB job has come up!!!! Why oh why are they like buses???? No jobs I fancied came up in the last two years, and now? Wham! Not fair!!!!

Jodders · 22/09/2016 19:36

Hi ladies, I didn't find out with my first. I did though with my second but largely because he wasn't shy and exposed himself during the scan.
It's 2 weeks til we find out. 20 weeks tomorrow! Feel like waiting til 22 weeks is so long!!
I put pillows (with a towel over them) under my hips to tilt my pelvis in the air. I also DTD from behind as we often would. GrinWink

Footy1 · 22/09/2016 20:21

Right ladies.. This could be it...

Get on your hands and knees and get it from behind Wink

Also handstands after the deeds Shock

Footy1 · 22/09/2016 20:24

Good to hear from you grads. Can't wait till we all join your team.

Kate- that's so typical re jobs. Your symptoms sound promising :) fingers crossed.

ps2304 · 22/09/2016 21:35

We did it from behind as well!

I'm 16 weeks on Monday, I have the start of a bump now and hardly any of my clothes fit! Still getting a bit of nausea but not too bad. Still reading and rooting for you all. Xx

Footy1 · 23/09/2016 07:30

Cd 18Star

Kate, what was your temp today? My temp still hovering around 36.40.which is low for me. Only had a couple of high temps this cycle.

I drank lots of wine when I took the clomid for two nights so wondering if its reduced the effects. Read online someone said it does so maybe that's why I haven't ovulated?!

Footy1 · 23/09/2016 07:31

Jem- how did u get on with the preseed?
