I only ever thought it happened to others.experiencing this 1st hand is painful.this will be cycle 16,what a bummer!!

Sorry foot ,l can't be any help at the moment.l am so depressed and my bp is high and giving me headaches.l hope you get answers soon and hope luck is on your side

jem thanks hope you are luckier than me hun.l wouldn't wish this upon anyone.dh has stopped drinking in hope it will help argh!!!

Footy1 · 20/09/2016 18:20

Sorry mimi Flowers I missed your earlier post. Sorry AF got you. Don't give up hope. Understand how you feel. I've tried lots of different tactics, diets etc.. But so far no help. Easy to get depressed with all this. Clomid messes with your moods and I too have felt low (lower than usual) so it could be that which has added to your disappointment. What dosage are you on?

I'm still waiting to ovulate.. Not sure why body is refusing to? Really sucks.

LondonJem · 20/09/2016 18:39

Hugs girls FlowersFlowers it's a tough cruel process, the relentless trying and disappointment takes its toll. I'm sure it will be worth it in the end.

DH had his semen analysis done privately today. Results emailed same day was the deal - but we have no email, so it looks like we will have to wait until tomorrow Envy

Footy I know it's worst case scenario, but could it be a pre-AF temp dip, and you just had a super short cycle? Horrible all this guessing. Hope things becoming clearer for you this week.
Jem love the pots! I'd love to do something like that. Think I will need to get my DH down to one of those clinics if my tests are clear, but can't see him going willingly?! Glad yours is more compliant! Let us know the results!
Mimi sorry for your disappointment. There's pros and cons to the relaxed approached, so hard to know what to do for the best Sad
Kate awesome that the 2ww is flying for you! Great if you can stay distracted! 3dpo for me and I already think it's going to drag!
Nimi so glad for the darker line! Must be reassuring. Bet you can't wait until the first scan.

Tee4me · 20/09/2016 20:01

Crossed posted Jem! I'm looking at the Create clinic now! Did he go to Wimbledon? Was it £95?

LondonJem · 20/09/2016 20:21

Tee he went to St. Paul's. said it was "surreal". Just put in a room with some porn! Doesn't seem like anyone really talks to you either. You give your sample then go! They email you results. If there's a problem it's up to you if you want to book an appointment to discuss options, or take the results to your GP.

Yes it was £95. Think I can safely say if there's a problem he will be talking to his GP.

OP posts:
Tee4me · 20/09/2016 20:36

Oh yes I can see there's one at St Pauls, that'll be better for DHs work! Pop in in his lunchbreak I guess Grin I mentioned it tonight and he pulled a face!!

Footy1 · 20/09/2016 21:11

Ladies my DH would not do anything like that I asked him last cycle and he gave me that look
Well done Mr Jem! What a star
Hope results are good Jem X

Trying to force feed him satsuma's at the mo which is also hard going!

Possibly pre AF tee, had few cramps tonight, fingers crossed temp will spike tomorrow and suggest ovulation?
Tiny bit of EWCM before I had a bath so I'm holding onto hope.

Tee4me · 20/09/2016 22:03

Keep the faith Footy and let's see what tomorrow brings.
Yeah in reality I don't think DH would do it. Collecting all the info and hope that if we are unsuccessful, AGAIN, he might reconsider.

Tee4me · 20/09/2016 22:07

Just had a thought, implantation dip Footy?!

physicskate · 20/09/2016 22:22

I've got a few twingey cramps tonight. Oh I so hope it could be implantation!! I'm too busy for this tww to not fly! Boobs aching quite badly which keeps reminding me! Not pleasant!

Tee4me · 20/09/2016 22:40

Fingers crossed Kate!!

Tee4me · 20/09/2016 22:52

Another theory to throw into the mix of confusion Footy! Ever heard of a secondary estrogen surge, causing temp dip? See attached!

Footy1 · 21/09/2016 08:12

Thanks tee, yeah I usually do dip a bit around then looking at previous charts but the temps are a step higher usually. I don't feel like I have ovulated as I'm still getting the hot flashes which on clomid disappear after ovulation. Temp today was 36.42 so it has come up. FF has said it can't predict ovulation now- think I've confused it. Lol

Off to Minor injuries.. Not sure what's happened to my hand but it's swollen & purple and I can't move 3 fingers.

Will try to call the gynae man later, but got a feeling I won't get anywhere, as I'm only cd16Star, he'll prob say to wait a bit?!
Heart to heart with DH last night, and he said he really wants it to happen but wants it to be not a "tried attempt"! so doesn't want to dtd just for that. I do understand a bit, but he don't get the fact that it only will happen if we dtd on the right days!! So frustrating..

Footy1 · 21/09/2016 08:15

Kate- wow you are speeding along to testing time! Really got my fingers crossed (on my good hand) for you! When are you going to test? Or are you waiting til after AF due?

Tee- forgot to ask you, are you temping this cycle? If so what is yours?

Jem- hope results are good for mr Jem. I read that selenium tabs are good for men. Can't get my DH to take anything!

LondonJem · 21/09/2016 08:25

If DH had already fathered a child I don't think we'd be getting this test to be honest girls. You have evidence your fellas aren't firing blanks!

Annoyed with him today. He's got himself in a mard for no good reason. I'm fertile next week and he's got a four day trip over the key days, so the pressure to get out of it is affecting both of us I think.

OP posts:
LondonJem · 21/09/2016 08:28

Hope your hand is alright footy! Heart to heart sounds good. I would struggle to accept that it can't be 'tried' though - basic biology means your egg has 24 hours from being released. There is science to this madness! Hopefully he is open to frequent DTD so it's not just targeted to those days.

Fx kate and tee

Morning ladies
Cd3Envy
Sorry foot hope you feel better soon.your dh is hard headed like mine.he wants to try his best but only if it suits him.l think l will be 90 by the time I get pregnant lol

Mimilicious013 · 21/09/2016 09:01

Hugs jem hope you manage to get some conga before oh goes away.did your results come in yet?fx they are good and it's only a matter of time

Mimilicious013 · 21/09/2016 09:17

Here's hoping it's implantation kate fx.
tee good luck in the tww.l kinda miss the pineapples time.we really have been through a lot lol.are you taking aspirin for the blood clots?

My period is a little heavy this month (hopefully it's getting ready for a baby)wishful thinking

Tee4me · 21/09/2016 09:21

I've done a handful of temps Footy but I think it's adding to the confusion... Had a low one around anticipated ovulation, then they went up, so looked all good, but last 2 days they've been low again. So in a similar predicament to you now wondering why the drop! Having said that, I don't have a coverline to compare to** as I only took 1 pre-ov temp, but my highest was 36.59 and today was 35.96, so a pretty marked drop! Will run it by acupuncturist this morning, I still feel sure I ovulated. CM is consistent will post ov. I hate this!

Tee4me · 21/09/2016 09:28

Jem that's a good point re. DH. It does put my mind a rest a bit knowing we've conceived before, but I guess things can change. We have friends who never managed to conceive a second child. Secondary infertility is more common than you'd imagine. I think most likely this is all down to bad luck, but having tests may reassure us. There maybe something really simple going on tipping the balance out of our favour?
Definitely will get results for me before I tackle DH though! Someone on my Facebook just sadly announced a miscarriage, however, they already have 5 DCs, so her DH had a vasectomy in March, yet they still fell pregnant in the Summer!!

Tee4me · 21/09/2016 09:32

Oh Mimi, I feel for you! I'm not going back on contraception ever, fate can decide on my 3rd child. If it takes this long trying, God knows how long when we're not. I'm still taking aspirin, but no pineapple because I developed an allergy! The rash has come up again this week, so now I'm wondering if it's kiwi too (had one on the weekend) Doc said these 2 fruits are particularly allergenic!

LondonJem · 21/09/2016 13:49

Tee totally valid re secondary infertility, hadn't thought of that.

DH got his results - all normal apart from slightly low morphology but there seems to be a lot of debate online as to how important this is / how reliable morphology results are and how they are measured. Seems morphology can fluctuate quite a bit from sample to sample too. He's a bit down about it but I don't think it's anything to worry about. He has booked with his GP to talk about it.

OP posts:
Tee4me · 21/09/2016 15:48

Sounds like good news to me Jem, I don't know anything about morphology, hopefully Doc can put that into perspective. Would have thought the other 2 factors were more important tho.
Acupuncturist told me not to waste any energy/worry on temping. He thinks it's vastly unreliable, so with that I think I will bin the bbt. He was a bit surprised I stopped DTD CD13 purely because I had 2 high temps. Looking back it's so true. Really should keep going regardless. Perhaps that's why the relaxed approach works. These tools don't only tell us when we supposedly should be DTD, they could also give us a false idea of when we don't need to, and therefore miss opportunities that way. Urgh. Having said all that, I'm sure I didn't ovulate later that CD13 Grin
