Ah happy belated birthday parney.
Yes that bit especially made me laugh with the tests. That'll b me Winklol

So ladies.. Fingers crossed... Pains got worse, tingly boobs and a blazing positive opk AGAIN! So let's hope that big juicy egg will pop out to be flooded by millions of sperm backed up for the last month!

Footy1 · 05/11/2016 09:05

Pains eased off this morning and I got a slight temp increase today to 36.64 So hoping it will stay up! We were both shattered last night but managed a quick one. Something was definitely going on inside as I was again quite hot and crampy. Think I might have a night off tonight Wink

Happy weekend everyone!

LondonJem · 05/11/2016 15:19

Happy weekend footy hope everything is alright down there. We've just been to look at our first ever properties to buy! Very exciting and welcome distraction from TTC

Happy weekends all Brew

Hi everyone, I am 22 weeks now. Just weighed myself and I have put on 17lbs!!! 😱😰😰

I only eat home cooked healthy food, but clearly too much of it. What should i do? I have eaten out LOADS this last two weeks for various reasons. Won't be eating out for a while now. Should I try cutting back portion size? Lowering carbs?? Just worried i am going to become obese!!

ps2304 · 05/11/2016 17:30

Ps my bmi was top end of healthy at booking in apt

Footy1 · 05/11/2016 20:33

Don't worry ps as long as you are eating healthy and not too much sugary carbs you are bound to put on weight. Pregnant ladies always carry a lot of fluid too. It's probably mostly baby! I'm sure it will come off as soon as baby is born. Maybe do some exercise which will help u feel good and burn off any unwanted carbs.

Jem are you looking at buying in the same area that u live? Exciting times.
We're too busy planning buying house whether here or abroad. Is a good distraction.

DH just mentioned getting an early nightWinkWink but I was hoping for a night off! Lol. Did u girls contact him and tell him he better perform this cycle or something?! Hee hee

LondonJem · 05/11/2016 21:39

Footy we can't afford to buy around here but are looking a bit further north - 15-20 drive away or so. It'll be our first home we own so it's really exciting. Buying abroad is cool - is that a holiday home or to move overseas?

Ps are you joking?

Morning lovelies!
Footy has you temp stayed up? FX! Yes I tracked down a Mr Footy in the phone book and told him for the love of God KEEP GOIING!! That is awesome that he's kept up the enthusiasm, you must be truly irresistible! Makes it so much easier when they're on board and you don't have to spend the extra energy (you don't have) creeping around them and getting anxious about whether they'll deliver. I always felt on a knife edge with mine, cos if he wasn't in the mood, I had no hope!!
Jem so exciting looking at houses!! Our building working is very nearly complete so it feels like we're in a new house too. You must be approaching AF due date, how you feeling?
Mimi what's happening your end, anything unusual?
PS eating healthily is number 1 priority, so don't get too stressed about your weight. I'd be more inclined to watch the quality of what's going in, rather than the quantity. And like Footy said, keep gently active if you can.

Took my second CB digital today and as expected/hoped the weeks reading has gone up, indicating I'm now 5+ weeks. Good to know hormones are going in the right direction x

Hurrah tee glad all going as it should. Is mrtee excited? Great news about your house work.

AF is due next Saturday, I feel no different to usual in the TWW. Had a family bonfire party yesterday and my mum hugged me and said are you okay? Tears came straight away and had to go off to compose myself. I'm sure she knows what's wrong. I dont know whether I want to talk to her about it in detail or not. She's so desperate to be a gran her disappointment on top of mine might not help!

Hi everyone,

Tee that is fantastic to see the weeks go up for u on the cbdigi.
You must feel like you can relax and enjoy it now. Pleased your house is coming together.
Yes my temp stayed up another day so fingers crossed it did pop out an egg. I have really tingly boobs today, keep having to scratch them. Must be to do with hormones?

Aww Jem, big hug to you. Might help U if u can share with your mum. I'm sure she understands. Do u have any siblings?

How are you Nim? Thinking of you. Are you going to take any asprin? Have the hospital recommended anything? X

LondonJem · 07/11/2016 08:41

Footy temp sounds promising hopefully all your hard work has paid off.

I'm one of four - I have two sisters. I've spoken to one of them a little bit but not much. None of my siblings have kids or tried yet. I might speak to mum but she cannot keep things to herself. If I tell her god knows who else she will tell. I want to feel it's at least confidential. I think she will also give me really annoying advice like just relax and it will happen Hmm no mum I am relaxed we are just seemingly infertile. Relaxing has nothing to do with it! Extreme stress can stop ovulation - but I ovulate regularly each month. I think if/when we get referred to the hospital and more invasive tests start I might speak to her then.

Things have gone from mad to insane at work. My Head of Department has had a family emergency which means he won't be in much in the coming weeks. They've finally put together an advert and I think it might go up tomorrow - three weeks after I resigned and a week after they said I can go at Christmas if the find someone to replace me.

Tears are going to come soon... good thing we've stopped ttc for a couple months... not that I think I will ov in that time!! AHH stress. Covering lessons for classes I haven't taught in awhile and no free time to mark, plan lessons, support kids needing help etc!

Oh well. Christmas is coming up, right??

Footy1 · 07/11/2016 20:41

Oh no you poor thing Kate. That sounds like a lot of pressure and very unfair. I hear all this from my friend who's a teacher but it definitely sounds worse at this place. Bet you can't wait to escape it.
Sorry u are going through all this but just think come January you will hopefully be settled into a new job after having a lovely Christmas.

Jem, is hard going through all this ttc milarky without being able to share feelings with close ones. My mum would be the same, she would tell my brothers and sisters.Dh keeps telling me to relax.. But as we all know.. It comes down to luck. Maybe our lucky time soon eh?! Bit down in dumps today.., wanting it more today.
Hope you are ok, and every day is one step closer.. X

LondonJem · 08/11/2016 09:01

Oh kate what a nightmare! Yes not long until Christmas, hang in there.

Fx it'll be us soon indeed footy. How are you doing today?

I've not got much going on. It's 10 DPO today and nothing much to report, slightly sore boobs, sleeping badly. That's about it really! Expecting AF Saturday. Got a hair cut booked and brunch with a friend Sunday to pick me back up.

OP posts:
Tee4me · 08/11/2016 09:35

Eeekkk sorry Kate! Roll on Christmas!
Footy hope those temps are staying up, bet you feel nervous every morning taking them.
Jem hope your brunch Sunday is a celebratory one! The boobs have been the biggest sign for me this time, they feel so heavy & achy (and I'm naturally quite small up top). Trust the boobs!!
Nim how are you getting on? Hope the bleeding has subsided. I know lots of women report things being delayed after MC, however, I ovulated at the normal point in my cycle, so be prepared that your body could switch back to normal quicker than you expect. Wishing you lots of luck. I'm continuing to take aspirin, feel scared to stop!!

Mimilicious013 · 08/11/2016 10:02

Hie ladies
Have been down in the dump the past few days. Had a terrible flu with a headache and was stuck in bed over the weekend. Feeling a lot better now except my throat. Now the worst part, af arrived today early with a backache AngrySadAngrySad

nim hope you are feeling better Flowers

Footy1 · 08/11/2016 12:41

Hi everyone.

Sorry mimi, this hasn't been your month. You have been on an incredibly long journey and I really feel for you. Would you consider going for fertility treatment or possibly another few cycles of clomid? Or are you just wanting time out? Hugs right back at you. Xx

Tee, yes u are tight tee, I feel anxious as soon as I open my eyes on what the thermometer will say. Today sadly temp dropped dramatically, did a little bit yesterday too but not a huge amount. I'm certain i haven't ovulated. Have only one high temp then it dropped. Totally sucks! So I managed to get through to hosp and they suggested to take the norethisterone now in prep for my next appt as lining would be too thick with no AF for awhile. They also suggested that maybe the positive BFP test I had was a cp awhile back and unless I've had a big period afterwards could b the reason of anovulatory cycles since. So back to square one for me in about 5 days I guess! Really gutted after all the hard work this month and really wanted a Christmas announcement too. Trying to stay positive... At least I have another packet of clomid to try (joys) along with hosp appt next week and other positive is that DH is still on best behaviour and very up for dtd every other day so need to crack on and start again before he loses interest or we fall out?! Hmm

Nice to know you are all still here, afraid I'll b left on my own Sad

Jem, hoping for a BFP for you. Silent symptoms are good.. You are so close..

Russkispy · 08/11/2016 16:39

Had acupuncture this morning and slept peacefully. And just finished our very first scan! A little babi 15mm long with 170bmp. Heard the heartbeat! And it's only one! No twins! Haha doctor was happy with how things going and develop. NIFTY scan/test is booked in 2 weeks

Footy1 · 08/11/2016 16:46

Sorry tee that should have said you are "right" not "tight!" LolGrin

Super news Russ. All sounds really good. So pleased for you. Are you going to find out the gender? Any names in mind?

MotherOfBeagles · 08/11/2016 18:08

Hi, can I join? My stats are
Ttc #1
Cycle 4
Age 26 +362 days Grin

Had a chemical pregnancy from my first cycle July and been all over the place since. Especially as had a chest infection that turned cold for the last 7 weeks! So I'm completely confused and need to talk to people in the same boat!

physicskate · 08/11/2016 18:27

Welcome Beagles!! Yeah this is starting to turn into a thread of medium term struggles!

I'm glad I'm on a break right now. Seriously considering getting signed off. Chest palpitations and feels kinda laborious to breathe... plus I'm getting fat even though I haven't had time for every meal in the last week or so.

Russ I bet that was so surreal!!

Oh foot, I so feel for you. At least you got through to someone... Would it be worth an investigation about anything being retained??

Parney · 08/11/2016 18:53

Mimi I'm so sad for you, I hope a little break from all the pressure helps. We're hear to listen to whatever you need us to.
Glad to hear you've a lot planned for the weekend Jem, hopefully time will fly!
Russ that's great news, I also had a scan last week and baby has had a huge growth spurt and an estimated weight of over 5lb with 7 weeks to go.
Love the name Mother of Beagles! We're a similar age, I'm 27 26 and 373 days 😁 sorry to hear about your chemical.
Hope everyone else is well! Glad to see the weeks go up on the digi Tee.

Parney · 08/11/2016 18:54

Kate your wellbeing is the most important thing, I'd look in to some much needed time off if possible.

MotherOfBeagles · 08/11/2016 19:09

Thanks for the welcome, i've had a bit of a read through but still getting to grips with everyone's stories.

Sorry to hear about your struggles mimi

Russ that must be really lovely seeing all that congratulations!

Physics fat thing could be because stationary and not getting about much? Sorry to hear you arent well though, are the doctors being helpful?

eek parney is it really exciting? or starting to get nervous? Thanks for the compliment on the name lol, i've got two beagles and after reading all the GOT books and watching the show i think my boys could take her dragons easy Wink

Parney · 08/11/2016 19:28

Huge GOT fan, I'm jealous I never thought of the name! I have two poms who would also love the chance to take on the dragons! It's very exciting and completely taking over, I can't think about anything else. Nerves are kicking in too in the form of horrific labour dreams.
Do you have regular cycles? I'm hoping it happens for you very soon!
