You sound so strong Nimisha, when the tears come just let them roll. You've got your head together so well, very impressive but don't be too hard on yourself. I'm really rooting for your BFP in the next few months. The pandora idea is very sweet, I hope it brings you lots of comfort. God to hear things went well today, feet up a land relax! ❤️

Mimilicious013 · 31/10/2016 17:04

Glad all went well nim.you are a strong woman and the the charm is such a brilliant idea to keep the memory. She will always be in your heart.

A good cry will do you good but only when you are ready. Best of luck with the new cycle. Your chances are a lot higher so fx and oh better watch out haha

Loads of hugs
Xxxx

Footy1 · 31/10/2016 19:50

Thoughts are with u Nim. You must take time to grieve. Will help u focus on trying again and can only be a good thing to start again without a build up of upset. Such a lovely idea with charm. Think I have seen an angel charm before as I'm a big Pandora fan. Hope you are not in lots of pain and able to sleep tonight. Praying for your recovery Flowers

Thanks parney, and thanks for all the other grads for your kind support on this journey.

Got appt next week Jem so going to wait see what happens before. Read online that clomid can add or subtract days to ovulation time so just got to wait. Hormones are way out of whack - bad headaches, mood swings (I'm so grumpy) and hot flushes. Rubbish!!

Hope you get something to distract u this next week or so.. Hope you get your BFP this cycle too.. And mimi!

Tee4me · 31/10/2016 20:16

Wow Nim you are incredibly brave. Do you have some time off work? Good attitude to get back on that band (or bang!) wagon and give it your all, your womb will be desperate to accommodate a little bean. Lovely idea to find a charm for your angel.
Kate glad things are working out for you, and CD1 wasn't a disappointment this time round. Hope the meeting went well!
Parney yes I told my twin yesterday, she's delighted! Also told Mum today as she has been with me on this journey, and actually asked how the month had gone!
Footy I'm frustrated for you at this stage. I really hope you get a solution soon. There must be alternatives to Clomid if that's not quite working for you.
Mim hope the 2ww isn't dragging too much! I really don't feel the urge to test more. I'm so clockwork with my period, and the strong hpt reading and absence of AF is enough for me to feel pregnant. I just don't want to add any anxiety to the mix so won't be doing any monitoring whatsoever (temps etc)
Jem got anything nice/distracting lined up in 2ww??

radderss · 31/10/2016 22:02

Thinking of you Nim. You are being so so strong. The charm sounds lovely xxx

Jem have all my fingers and toes
Crossed for you this month!

Physics - hope the meeting goes ok and you can get out of there as soon as you want too.

Foot - hope your hormones level out again soon and you feel more yourself

Mimi thinking of you too

Roll on more Bfps xx

Russkispy · 01/11/2016 07:28

Tee, massive congratulations! Such a wonderful news!
I'm still very much following Thai thread and rooting for all whose yet to get their BFP. It will happen! I know it will! Sending you positive thoughts and big virtual hugs!
I've lost my sleep and suffering from pregnancy insomnia from the day I found out I was pregnant. And last week I strayed feelings. Nauseous but not vomiting. I'm tired all the time and sleep whenever I can during the day. Booked an early scan (private) and it's next Tuesday. My first NHS scan is in December when I'll be 14 weeks but I'll still have private scan in between. Yet to meet an NHS midwife.

Russkispy · 01/11/2016 07:29

Sorry, for the NHS scan I'll be 13 weeks and not 14

LondonJem · 01/11/2016 08:50

The necklace idea is lovely nim. Well done getting through yesterday it can't have been easy. Let yourself grieve fully and take good care of yourself, as long as you need. I will be keeping everything crossed for you when you start trying again. Are you going to use opks to see where things are at?

Clomid does not sound fun footy I really hope it does the trick for you and is worth it

Tee it must feel strange not getting your period after all this time! That's lovely you have shared it with your family. I have some nice weekend plans to distract me plus I might tag along on DH work trip to South Africa next week so a bit of sun would be a nice distraction. The day AF is due I have a haircut booked so that'll be nice and relaxing if I do get it.

Thanks radders I don't know why but I always thought I would fall at a similar time to you, I can't believe I'm still here trying really, but your support is really appreciated. It's just the luck of the draw.

Glad all going well russ hope you get some sleep!

Footy1 · 01/11/2016 14:34

Jem glad you have stuff to distract u. I can't believe how long this is taking for me either. Nothing seems straight forward anymore.

Held twins today - 7 days old! Was so nice, kept thinking wish they were mine. Boy and girl from IVF. Friend of a friend's babies. Took her 4 years!! Made me more anxious I think!

Tee, it could be twins for u! How u feeling today? Think u have the right attitude about numerous tests- not worth the expense and can imagine it would get addicting. You saw the words so at least u know.

Cd21Star still keeping up the deeds! Been every other day or more since cycle started! Crazy!! Pleased with the DH. Grin just need to ovulate!!! Grrrr

LondonJem · 02/11/2016 08:33

Footy you and DH win the prize for most sustained effort. I don't know how you are still going! Much as I hate the TWW I don't mind getting a break from DTD again.

Four years to get her babies - God that's a sobering thought. If it takes us that long I think I'll be committed to an asylum Confused

OP posts:
Footy1 · 02/11/2016 23:15

Cd 22 Star
I'm knackered from so much, but each night I'm wondering if I'll wake up having ovulated.

So far this cycle..3,4,5,8,9,11,12,13,14,15,17,19,20,22. ZzzzzzzzConfused

How u feeling Jem? How many dpo? Feeling anything?

Kate, hope meeting went ok?

Mimi, are u in 2ww ?

Tee, hope you are good and busy planning. How u feeling?

Nim, hope u are ok. Make sure u are eating enough calories as your metabolism will be a bit wild with all that's going on. Xx

Come on girls we can do this!! Smile

Tee4me · 03/11/2016 08:20

Oh my goodness Footy, you are bloody incredible. Hats off to you for your perseverance. You so deserve your bfp. So I presume no temp rise again? When did you say your next appointment was?
Jem & Mimi how's the 2ww going? Remind us when you're due on and when you might test... CD21 blood test for you today isn't it Jem? Good luck. Lovely if you can just nonchalantly tag along to a South Africa trip!! Amazing!!
Nice to hear from you Russ! Sorry to hear about the insomnia. Really hope you find a way to overcome that. Hopefully just a phase. Luckily so far I've been sleeping like a log.
Definitely starting to feel a bit sicky now and again. Boobs the biggest give away, feeling heavy and sensitive. Also hungrier! Considering booking a private early scan at the end of November around the 8 week mark. Having said that, I'm definitely feeling more confident and relaxed than I thought I would though. Really expected to be riddled with anxiety. Didn't bother going back to acupuncturist as I had planned. Just have a feeling this one is going the distance. Touch wood x

LondonJem · 03/11/2016 08:36

What a marathon footy hats off to you and your DH. I really hope all your hard work pays off.

Lovely symptoms tee and glad to hear you are relaxed and enjoying it. It would be lovely to see bean at 8 weeks even if you are not worried.

I'm 5 DPO so wouldn't be feeling any different yet, think you don't implant until 7-8 DPO? I've got my bloods tomorrow tee as I have a 29 day cycle average. Well remembered! Smile

I've been imagining what it will be like to be referred to the fertility unit at the hospital and going for our first appointment. Think it will help to start getting my head around it now.

Hope everyone else is alright x

OP posts:
Footy1 · 03/11/2016 15:57

Hope your blood tests are fine Jem, I'm sure they are.
I'm not sure how I've managed to keep up not alone DH! Think he's started to enjoy it and expect it. Think he'll gave a shock when the deed is done for 9 months! Lol
This time next week Jem you will be getting excited to testSmile

hi Tee, Glad you are well and yes that little bit of nausea is a good thing.
Must be so exciting doing this with your twin. Makes it so special. Good attitude also and good to be positive. Think I'd get an early scan too.. I'd be too excited. Do u have an incline to what u think you are going to have going on your dates and theory's. Was thinking that u specifically avoided ov day in past cycles but that last one you didn't. Do u think that was the reason it wasn't working?

I thought my appointment was this week but it's the week after next think 15th Nov. So that's really annoying. No temp rise, but today had a few cramps and last night was really hot in bed which is usual AF signs? So I'm not sure what's going on?
My DH said My skin felt hot in night and for a brief moment I got my hopes up that I was pregnant after all, but that only last 3secs as I remembered I haven't ovulated Sad

Not sure much I can do at this stage as the gynae doesn't seem to take calls in between appointments. I do have the pills here to kick start AF again but part of me telling me to hold fire each time I get a cramp I think it might be ovulation?! The opks I had around cd12-16 were all positive, and now they just dark but not a positive yet. Think cd23 is quite late to ovulate now, but Kate ovulated late so it can happen. I might give it to cd28.

Tee4me · 03/11/2016 20:58

Haha Footy, that's how I feel! DH has had a year on tap/being pounced on. Think a major break is on the cards. It is a relief not to have that pressure anymore I must admit. Hopefully not long for you too.
Yes you're right, I started off trying to sway by missing ovulation day and taking calcium & magnesium! I fell in Feb despite missing OD, but yes could have been a factor in delaying things. I gave up skipping DTD on OD and the supplements a few months back. On balance I thought there couldn't really be any significant truth to it. Anyway, there's a contradicting theory that suggests bd'ing every day actually sways girl, because of the apparent overall lowering of sperm count?! Also aspirin is said to sway girl. Who knows! Now I'm pregnant, I genuinely couldn't care less!! A girl would be nice to balance the family, but DH & DS would be thrilled with more testosterone in the house!! We'll definitely be finding out.... is it Jesse or Rosie?! Place your bets!! Grin x

Footy1 · 04/11/2016 06:41

Ha ha I too not sure about the girl theory but yes I think it's a rosie for you! And possibly a boy- twins! Think their might be a few Rosie's! My favourite name for a girl. There was someone else also who wanted Rosie on this thread. What's the likelihood of you getting twins one of each? Or would it be most likely two same sex? Are u an identical twin?

Tee4me · 04/11/2016 07:41

Twins is always a possibility! That would be mental. I would be daunted but thrilled, think DH would sweat! No me and my twin aren't identical. Non-identical twins follow the mothers line, as they are the result of polyovulation. My grandmother had boy twins, my mum had girl twins, perhaps I will get one of each!
Still no temp rise? I think you'd be right to wait until CD28 x

Parney · 04/11/2016 09:04

My friend has one of each Tee and they are the sweetest! I'd imagine the workload to be immense but incredibly worth it! I wonder if you have the gene for polyovulation? Likely! I find it all so interesting!
Wow wow wow Footy! How can you still walk? Fair play! Our dtd life has been significantly reduced, just not on my agenda at the minute. I miss it but not pregnancy style 😂!
Good luck with bloods Jem, I'm reading so many threads atm about BFPs appearing right in the middle of fertility tests. It must be as a result of relaxing because you're leaving in the hands of somebody else? Hope it's catching!!!
How are you this cycle Mimi?
Hope the week is going well for you Nim!
Hi everyone else!

Footy1 · 04/11/2016 09:12

This is my chart. It's weird as the temp been slowly going up over the last few days? So I'm none the wiser? Just don't think I ovulated yet? Had cramps last night with sensitive tingling boobs almost felt like I'd wake up with AF? But nothing. Waiting til cd28.

I think it'll b great if u had twins tee. When I held those twins the other day my heart was melting.

Any exciting plans the weekend ladies? Jem u ok? Have u been doing the acupuncture still?

Mimi? Anything happening? Any dates with hubs?

Kate, hope job sorted for the new year.

Hope all grads are doing well too and blooming well GrinJodders hope you are feeling better. Did they ever sort out your correct dates for baby?

Footy1 · 04/11/2016 09:24

Sorry parney I missed your post. I wondered if the grads kept up dtd's! Can imagine it's uncomfortable as you get further along the line.

Watched a comedy film the other night - knocked up!? Quite amusing! If u fancy a giggle watch it. I recorded it a long time ago but think it'll b on Netflix /love film etc..
Not really my sort of film but was funny!

Parney · 04/11/2016 09:42

I watched it recently too Footy! Funnier than I thought it would be..Especially when she was doing s million tests!
It was my birthday a few days ago so DH and I are away for the weekend, maybe the lack of DTD will change but I seem to be focusing on all the yummy food instead!!!
I'm not much use with charts but does the dip on CD 13 suggest anything? It's a very impressive cycle!!!!!!

LondonJem · 04/11/2016 09:50

I'm the other fan of Rosie Smile lovely name. Twins would be amazing tee!

Hi parney glad all well with you

I've seen knocked up too footy love Katherine heigl

Had my bloods done this morning, was fine. Get results next week. Please tell me they don't test for pregnancy? I think it would be too soon to tell but I can't handle a BFN over the phone! Bad enough seeing them myself! DH has his second SA today. He is making a lot of fuss about it - not complaining but talking about it lots Hmm think maybe they want to feel part of the process?

All the usual TWW otherwise, mood swings not so bad but I've still got a good week for the full crazy Confused

OP posts:
Tee4me · 04/11/2016 09:59

Jem I remember thinking the same when I had CD21 tests! They don't test for HCG so don't worry about the results!

LondonJem · 04/11/2016 10:12

Phew Halo
