The October Bus - hoping for lots of BFPs and Summer babies!!

Hi guys, just starting the October bus.

I'm almost 33, have a DS (2.5 years) and am now trying for DC2. I caught pregnant on cycle 1 but unfortunately had an early miscarriage and am now entering cycle 5.

My current situation is that DH has been changing his mind over the last 12 months to wanting to try for another, then not wanting to, then wanting to etc and it's been very difficult. We have now come to the compromise that we can actually try up until next August but if nothing has happened by then we stop TTC.

I'm on CD3 now, I usually ovulate around days 17/18 and have cycles of around 31/32 days.

My period has just arrived. I go from nothing to gushing in the space of 5 seconds - it was most inconvenient whilst I was in the middle of cooking dinner

Today would have been CD32 which is when my period usual arrives so at least things remain regular.

Now 14 dpo. Boobs bigger and really aching/hurting. Areoles darker. Feel nauseous in the mornings. Feel hot and hungry and tired all the time. Got acne which I only get when pg. no sign of AF. Still lots of cm. Had light pink spotting 6 days ago. Literally one spot. Really hoping I get a bfp on Saturday when I test. Fx for everyone else waiting to test. Try and stay positive everyone else.

mouse - this month my fertile week will be between the 16th-21st and unfortunately DH is out of the country for the entire week and comes back on the 23rd. So I won't be getting pregnant this cycle either

Has anyone ever had a metallic taste around ov? I've had this metallic taste today but it's way too soon for symtoms and I'm not even sure I've ovulated. I also had a metallic taste when I was pregnant in July.

Writer at least AF hasn't played games.

ah sorry writer but at least you are still regular, that is a good sign. Make the most of a month off the job and you might have renewed vigour in November!!

I have never had a metallic taste wither when ov or pg. I have been having 'butterflies' in my stomach in the evenings though - can i add this to my symptom spotting list?!

Flapper it is. Apparently it's caused by a rise in estrogen. Maybe possible at ovulation? I had it with my miscarriage but it started after my BFP and didn't have it with #1.

Mother if I'd definitely ovulated Saturday I would count this as a symptom as symptoms started 2dpo with #1. I've come off the multivitamins so it can't be that and I'm on no medication. I think it's worth noting the butterflies.

Writer keep the hope alive and DTD as he's running out the door. And then incubate the little guys and hope you drop an egg early!! (See, positive thinking!!) but really, it can happen I'm keeping my fingers crossed something works out for you. And if all else fails... freeze it.

I don't think I've ever had a metallic taste at ovulation Rosebud. Although I don't remember it when pregnant with DD either!

Purple I didn't have it all with DD but it was my only symptom with MC. I can't seem to find anything on it occuring during ovulation. Had to get DH to drink some of my water as all I could taste was metal. He said it was normal tasting. Was hoping someone would say they'd had it during ov so it would make sense.

Hi rosebud, i had it last month in the 2ww. I was convinced i was pg but wasn't. Can't explain it though and it definitely wasn't ovulation, just after!

Purple I don't think at all I'm pregnant. I'm not even convinced that I ovulated this month. I'd say I was even imagining the taste because I want a baby so badly. Surely I can't imagine a taste though? And of all the symptoms I'd imagine having a metal taste would not even be on my list. I had horrendous nausea and SPD with DD, so that's what I'd expect with #2. I feel like someone is going on, just don't think it's pregnancy.

AF is due Saturday and I am using all my will power not to test now (as I expect it will lead to disappointment). Getting married the Saturday 10 days time so am fantasising about having good news before then. However, if I haven't been lucky this month AF needs to come on time and not be late as I don't want to be on during my wedding!

mouse - I'm thinking if I shag DH that day he gets back there may be a tiny, tiny chance of conception!! I might go on Google and research way to delay ovulation and my FW

My period is absolutely grim this morning. I hate it and I have the worse pains!

On a happier note though, I'm off to have a facial and a hot stone massage at 11am this morning. I can't wait!!!
