Can't believe we've filled that thread, hope you all find this one!

Ali - so uncomfortable isn't it?! But I like that I can feel it happening, gives me a bit of warning at least. Yeah, I'm expecting I'll ov Thursday/Friday now which would work out much better than Saturday so fingers crossed.

Good luck for Thurs Blossom. Let us know how you get on. How many weeks will you be?

No I've never had spotting so early before. Plus other symptoms. Maybe it was close but the stars didn't quite align this time.

Bee1234 · 13/09/2016 16:12

ive already had two scans and heard the heartbeat just a week ago. I'm sure everything is fine and tomoro will be ok it's just that "what if" feeling i can't seem to shake.

Symptoms are a good healthy sign blossom, good luck for thurs.

Glad to hear blood results were all ok Mcbaby! Good luck with ur early scan too!

Ali, you're hardly ancient! Your time is coming!!

jinglebellmel · 13/09/2016 16:17

Glad you can all see it!

Bee can imagine how nervous you must be, will be keeping everything crossed for you, let us know.

Good luck blossom how many weeks are you now?

Ali, no don't think I have any symptoms, a few odd things but I'd say less than I've had on non pregnant months really. Hoping to feel awful soon. Bee is right this next cycle has your name on it! Have you considered baby asprin if you think you're having a problem implanting. I know it's not advisable to self medicate, but I did this month after reading an article.

Just to follow on from what Mel said.. I'm on baby aspirin twice daily. My ob/gyn prescribed it as soon as I told him I was pregnant again!

jinglebellmel · 13/09/2016 16:58

That's intesting bee, do you have any specific condition that means you need it or was it just a general precaution? I wasn't sure whether to keep going with it now or phase it out.

OP posts:
Bee1234 · 13/09/2016 17:19

He just put me on it as a precaution because of studies that have shown it can prevent miscarriages. It increases blood flow to the uterus I think. I know some people take it if they have a blood clotting gene but I was never tested for that! Im still on it now, I'm not sure when he will have me stop taking it. He sort of had the why not attitude about it because it can't do any harm.

Alibaba2 · 13/09/2016 17:46

So do you take it Mel?

Weird that I got the spotting so early this month, never had that before. Didn't you have it once or twice Mel?

jinglebellmel · 13/09/2016 19:20

Ali, I took it this month up until ov in the hope of boosting womb lining, it's also supposed to reduce any internal inflammation which can stop implantation. The study in the article I linked to showed increased pregnancy rates in those who took it who'd had a recent miscarriage, more so than in the general population. Needs to be the low dose one though.

I did have early spotting for the first few cycles after mc. Has yours stopped or just carried on since you first noticed it? How many dpo are you now, is there any chance you just tested too early?

Alibaba2 · 13/09/2016 19:55

Thanks Mel. I might try it then. Where do you get it from?

I had the tiniest blob of brown discharge on Sat and Sun plus ewcm, a fair amount of slightly brown-tinged discharge when I wiped yesterday then today a very slight colour to the discharge in my knickers (must wear white knickers more often)!

I've had absolutely no pg symptoms since the weekend plus 2 BFNs (ICs) and PMT yesterday.

Am expecting a temp drop in the morning.

So what did OH say Mel?

What are all your due dates Mel, Bee, Blossom and McBaby?

It's been a good few weeks for BFPSs!

jinglebellmel · 14/09/2016 08:01

Ali I got mine from superdrug, I think you can get them anywhere though. Mine just say aspirin 75g gastro resistant on the pack, think some are called baby aspirin. You can just take half of a normal aspirin too though, it's the same.

OP posts:
jinglebellmel · 14/09/2016 08:03

Oh and forgot to say, don't take if you have any problems with stomach ulcers/stomach bleeding.

Oh is thrilled, I don't think he'd been letting on quite how much pressure he felt under, especially after we found out the hot tub probably killed his sperm. We are both trying not to get too excited at this stage though.

How are you today, how's the temp? Def sounds like you almost had implantation with those symptoms.

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 14/09/2016 08:09

Temp still high but cramps are low so expecting AF today/tomorrow. FF says tomorrow - how comes they get it spot on each month?! Had another BFN today.

Thanks for aspirin info - will get some on the way to work.

Keep us posted on how you're feeling and milestones/dates etc x

jinglebellmel · 14/09/2016 09:59

I'll definitely be checking in to see how you're all getting on :). Don't think I could have survived the last few months without you ladies. Hoping to see more bfp's next month.

Ali I hate ff sometimes! You seem to be so close, and I know that's maybe more annoying in a way, but hopefully it means you'll be successful very soon. I will be keeping everything crossed for you X

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 14/09/2016 16:50

And.... AF has arrived.

Took my 75mg aspirin Mel.

So should I stop taking it after ov?

How are you all getting on? Has it sunk in yet?

thatsnotmybear · 14/09/2016 17:28

Sorry to hear that Ali Sad I think that warrants a glass of wine tonight.

I'm doing ok. AF officially late now but I still feel in limbo and not quite ready to trust that things might just be ok this time.

jinglebellmel · 14/09/2016 17:34

Sorry to hear that Ali, so annoying :( I took mine up to ov and then a couple of days after, I guess there's no harm In Keeping taking it right through though as bee's dr told her to take it in pregnancy,

Not sure it's really sunk in yet, according to ff Af is due Saturday, hoping I might feel a bit more confident after that.

I think that's normal blossom. Even with my son, where I had no problems I still never quite believed I'd be getting a baby at the end of it all. I'm sure the scan will make it more real.

Congratulations blossom. I'm counting down the days till my scan next Thursday.

My nhs scan is when I am 13 weeks so I think I will have one in the middle at 10 weeks (which is when I had the mc in July).

jinglebellmel · 15/09/2016 13:35

Congratulations blossom. Did you both go private and when is the best time to go to get an indication of whether things are progressing normally?
