Can't believe we've filled that thread, hope you all find this one!

Ali - so uncomfortable isn't it?! But I like that I can feel it happening, gives me a bit of warning at least. Yeah, I'm expecting I'll ov Thursday/Friday now which would work out much better than Saturday so fingers crossed.

Ouch bean that sounds like the most painful thing ever!

Mel if you want a natural remedy to try and clear it.. Organic apple cider vinegar! Pour one cupful into a bath and take a dip! It's meant to work wonders!

jinglebellmel · 05/09/2016 10:05

Thanks bee will give it a go :)

Bean did you actually have thrush when you conceived it did it come after?

How are your temps looking Bear? How many dpo are you now?

thatsnotmybear · 05/09/2016 12:41

Hi Ali, I'm 6dpo (I hope!) Temps are a shambles this cycle as I keep waking at different times. Had a huge spike yesterday but I woke late & had had a few too many drinks the night before Blush

How are you doing?

Thebean123 · 05/09/2016 13:13

Bee it was truly miserable! I've never known discomfort (pain!) like it! Can't look at a tube of canesten without getting shudders now!

The thrush came afterwards mel, I had it when I found out I was 4-5wks pregnant. I asked the dr if it would affect my pregnancy in any way and he said it shouldn't. Don't know wether it affects actually conceiving or not though....

Alibaba2 · 05/09/2016 16:01

All the glamorous stuff we have to go through while ttc!

Bear, I'm 5dpo and temps are ok. I know what you mean about the spikes. If I get up at 4am and go for a wee then test at 6am, they're extra high.

Makes me think that my temps weren't that high when I first started temping. I was just temping after 1 or 2 hours sleep.

Alibaba2 · 05/09/2016 19:43

Just reading about someone else who got thrush in the cycle they fell pg. Weird!

jinglebellmel · 06/09/2016 07:40

Grrr ff has now changed my ov day so I'm only 3dpo not 5, that means ov came right in the middle of the thrush with icky discharge which can't be sperm friendly! Think I'm going off ff!

How's everyone else getting on, which days are you on?

How annoying Mel!

I'm 7dpo and already the low mood of "we've not done it this month" has set in!

Thebean123 · 06/09/2016 10:08

That is annoying mel....hopefully it hasn't affected it too much for you this month.

I know that feeling bear, I try so hard not to let DP know how low I feel sometimes but can't help it!

As u know I have decided not to use opks and temp etc this month but from my calculations I'm expecting to ov in the next 4 days or so. Was planning on Dtd last night to get the ball rolling (ha ha pardon the pun) but went upstairs for something and literally fell asleep soundly on the bed by accident. Whoops. We're moving house next Thursday so tripping over bloody boxes etc at the moment so I think we will probably be out this month. It my tiredness is anything to go by I won't be able to keep my eyes open long enough to dtd!

Alibaba2 · 06/09/2016 10:21

Mel, do you know why FF changed ov date?

Bear, I'm 6dpo and know what you mean.

Bean, good luck for fertile week and the move! Hope you find some energy from somewhere.

jinglebellmel · 06/09/2016 10:51

We're a negative bunch today! Not sure what happened to my sexy September but I'm with you all being in the mood that we've not done it this month. Hopefully we will see some more bfp's amongst us this month though :)

good luck bean (and with the move)

Ali, I don't really know, I just put in today's temp and it moved ov from day 11 to day 13. It does look more likely temp wise, but not if you take the other signs into account (I find ff seems to rely heavily on the temps). If I put in a lower temp for today then it still has it at day 11. Who knows!

Temps seem v zig zaggy this month so maybe that's why it's struggling to make its mind up.

Not sure what's going on with me, I felt really low just before FW as well. I think it's the realisation that it's clearly not going to happen straight away for me. Also my DS starts school tomorrow & I don't work so am feeling a bit lost (sorry I really am feeling negative today, hope I'm not bringing anyone else down!)

Mel I find FF relies too heavily on temps, ignoring other info, too. Looking at your chart I would say ov was CD11. My temp increase post-ov is gradual too. But either way your timing with DTD is good enough!

Alibaba2 · 06/09/2016 11:23

I fixed my temps last month as I knew when I ov'd and FF changed it so I changed the temp very slightly

jinglebellmel · 06/09/2016 12:18

Oh glad its not just me that tries yo fix it! If you put it onto the research setting it seems to use other signs more, but does seem v dependant on temps otherwise and I don't think mine are that accurate. Fingers crossed sperm can survive thrush!

Oh bear sounds like an emotional time, hope little bear has a fab time at school. This could be your month you never know, it's all looking good so far isn't it?

OP posts:
Alibaba2 · 06/09/2016 12:45

Little Bear - ahhhh. And hope Baby Bear is not far off.

The only time I really feel positive is between AF and before ov. Post ov I just feel quite moody as the progesterone increases. Then I know it's game over when PMS rears it's head.

Bear - don't forget this is the hot, bloated, deep sleep stage of the cycle so it could be that affecting your mood?

Thebean123 · 06/09/2016 16:39

Slightly random ladies but does anyone else get this or am I just gross?! I've always noticed that once a month when I have a wee it smells really strong and distinct.....not like a normal wee smell ha! I've now realised since ttc that it's always just coming up to fertile time. I've noticed today that every wee I've had has the same distinct smell....not a pleasant smell but not overly disgusting either! Please tell me it's not just me.....or feel free to tell me I'm strange and my pee just smells weird sometimes ha ha

Alibaba2 · 06/09/2016 17:44

What I have noticed over the years Bean, is when there is spunk in there overnight or whatever, it does smell a bit funny sometimes the next day.

At least I thought it was that!

thatsnotmybear · 06/09/2016 17:52

Ahh thank you ladies, you're too kind Smile

Umm, is it a stronger musky smell? Your lady bits will have a different scent during FW. It's biological, to attract the males Blush

Thebean123 · 06/09/2016 18:15

Ha ha Ali....childishly laughing at the word spunk! Yeah I know what u mean there but that's not the smell.....no sex for the last 3 days.

It's hard to describe it really.....it's very distinct almost medicinal?! Ah I don't know maybe it's just one of those weird things ha! It doesn't really bother me in any way so will get over it :)

Alibaba2 · 06/09/2016 19:21

Interesting Bear!

My OH reckons he knows when I'm ov'ing due to pheromones I give off. This probably is another super-spunk thing, giving himself too much credit! Wink

jinglebellmel · 06/09/2016 19:26

Haha, can't say I've noticed it Bean, but makes sense that it'd smell different like bear said.

These men and their super spunk, wish I had their positivity!
