38 and going try for number 3 - any advice?

Hello,

We have 2 already and with a 8 year gap to the youngest we've decided we'd love a third.

so really do I need to get the ovulation sticks? Take temperatures?! All new to this feel like there are lots of new acronyms and I've no idea what they mean lol.

Sorry if my post is a bit vague I guess we have been waiting for the right time and now we're here, and I'm like ok! Aside from the lots of shagging what else do I need to know?

Gutted for you user and stars. I'm still feeling lots of things that could all be pg symptoms...but they could also be put down to other things. Stupidly tested yesterday at only 7 dpo. Obviously negative! Gonna hold off until at least the weekend! Because my cycles have been anywhere from 32 to 65 days these past few months, who knows when af will be due!

You ladies will be first to know once I've tested! Still got everything crossed xxx

So is this a symptom...I can feel really low in my tummy what seems like my pulse. It's really pounding. Has been on and off all day. Do you even have a pulse point in your abdomen?! What the hell is this?!!

I am in the fertile window part so just having a lot of fun at the moment!! It is so hot though i'm not really feeling it.....ALso it's Tuesday! seriously!
I am using clearblue op sticks and getting faint lines saying basically i am nearly ovulating. day 14 today so it shouldn't be too long i hope.
I will keep you updated (within reason) ;)

And I'm back in the room.

Was laying low as felt some strong symptoms over the weekend but no, AF arrived today.

So today I'm cd1 of a 26 day cycle.

Where's everyone else at?

I've been trying since a MC on 3rd May...

Hi Alibaba. CD31 for me, about 10 dpo. Very irregular cycles so don't really know when af due! Been having all sorts of symptoms...which probably aren't really symptoms at all! Trying to hold out until the weekend to test...but slowly going insane! Been ttc seriously since January.

Today I have the feeling it's not my month once again. Don't know why, just feel it.

How about everyone else?

10dpo is early days Emma. Implantation normally happens now so you wouldn't have hcg symptoms yet anyway. It's normal to feel negative in the TWW.

What kind of tests do you have?

Desperately trying not to build my hopes up again this cycle...maybe the fact I don't feel confident this month is my heads way of stopping me being disappointed again?! We shall see...probably test at the weekend! I just have a load of cheap tests off eBay for now...if (when?!) I get a positive from one of those I'll invest in a clear blue or frer.

Normally I don't feel anything and am quite negative. Last cycle I really thought it was happening then bfn - really gutting!

I don't think anything will have happened here either -i never really got a good positive from the op tests so maybe I didn't even ovulate... I have bought more expensive ones for next month. Someone else at work announced their pregnancy today. That makes 2 off on mat leave and 2 pg. Also got 2 other pg friends due very soon. I really want this now!!

Hi everyone. Sorry been out of the loop for a while forgot my password and never got round to resetting, just presumed I'd remember it. Anyway, done the reset now.

So I am feeling a bit sicky today and smells are making it worse. I think since this is the first period I'll have after being on the pill for ages means my pmt will be brutal so I think it is just this.

Also don't know if anyone's seen any of my
Other threads but dh is a compulsive gambler and even though he's stopped, I found out yesterday by seeing a text on his phone from a number rather than a contest name. Asked to see it, he's gotten another loan. So I'm kinda hoping and praying I am not pregnant as feels like the worse time :(

Emma and Ali sorry to hear you are not in luck this month :(

Sorry to hear that orange. I hope that it works out for you either way..... let us know. I hope DH sorts himself out and that it doesn't impact on your plans. A baby is stressful enough without other worries hanging over you. Good luck!

Sounds like you're having a tough time Orange...I really hope it gets sorted.

So I'm still cramping...4 or 5 days of it now (it's usually only 1). On Cd36, about 14 dpo. I tested on Friday and it was negative, I guess it could've been too soon! Lots of symptoms that could be put down to pregnancy, but then again could be pms. Trying not to test again cos these cramps are making me think af will arrive at any point, and I don't want to feel that disappointment again.

So frustrating!!

Argh I think it is! Just showed dh and he was suitably underwhelmed...said its not really 2 lines so feel a bit deflated now. Am I right in thinking if there's a line at all it counts?!!

They don't understand how it works Emma. It doesn't matter how faint, if there's a line, there is pg hormone there.

Got another fairly faint positive this morning using an IC. Faint but definitely there! Ordered a FRER from eBay which I should get tomorrow, just to double double check! But I have today, I'm definitely feeling it today! Cramps, bloating, horrendous boob's, headaches, exhausted...I could go on!! I'm pretty sure this is it xxx
