Can I join please? Like others I have been lurking for a while. Well since February to be exact. I came off the pill mid February after 11 years. Since coming off the pill my cycles have been 41 days long so now on cycle 4, CD24. Last cycle I ovulated CD27, so watch this space.

Hi Ladies,

I've been lurking since my miscarriage but we finally feel ready to TTC again so I thought I'd re-join this lovely thread.
It took 4 weeks for me to get a negative test which was frustrating but I feel better now knowing that it's all over. I'm sure AF will rearing her ugly head sometime soon...
Although we my DH & I started taking the Pregnacare conception vitamins and I've just read up-thread that they mess up your cycles??

Hope everyone is well anyway and I was happy to see the Preggo's list rapidly expanding!!

I am at the very start of my ttc journey. Only been off the pill 3 days! So far no side effects and no bleed... Only a matter of time I suppose! Xx

cookie I also think I may be about 3/4dpo IF I did ovulate so we are probably due testing/af around the same time. I'm purely going by the fact I had watery cm thurs/fri and ewcm Saturday but obvs with my mc everything could be crazy and my body is still doing odd things. We only dtd Friday though so it'd be a miracle if I did conceive again. Fx for you two! And good luck with the scan hopefully everything will be fine for you. I'm presuming it'll be an internal scan... have they said? I don't envy you if it is lol.

Yay glad I've got a tww buddy jjspoon. Hope this cycle hasn't been too tough for you. Can't imagine the emotions you must be going through! I think it's an external ultrasound I'm getting tomorrow, which I'm a bit sceptical about. Have heard mixed stories on here about external ultrasounds not being quite as accurate at picking up abnormalities than internal ones. Also feeling quite apprehensive as DH is working so I have to go on my own xx

Hi all loula cookie and jjspoon, looks like we are at a similar stage as I am 5dpo today. I will hold off testing until 10dpo but I'm feeling a lot more positive and relaxed this time as the months go on. Fingers crossed we will all get our bfps!

Great Claire, we're definitely at a similar stage! I'm 5 or 6dpo today! If i reach 10dpo it will be a bloody (excuse the pun) miracle as witchyface usually shows at around 7-9dpo. Any symtoms? xx

Ah hope AF stays away for you cookie! I havent noticed any symptoms yet so we will see. Usually start getting crampy feeling around 7dpo but nothing yet

Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing OK. Back from hols now which was beautifully relaxing. Once AF was out of the way we dtd quite a lot. Today I have cramps which I guess are ovulation (or are signalling it's about to happen) so we'll just keep bd-ing every other day while I try not to thing about the tww or testing.

In fact, I was talking to dh and we agreed that I won't test unless AF doesn't rear her head when I expect her to so I don't stress myself out. So if my cycle is the same this month as it was last month, I'd expect AF on or around the 16th. If she doesn't show then I'll try to give it until at least the 19th to test. That way I'm not upsetting myself with BFNs which may just be too early.

How are the cold turkey cycles going for those trying them out? x

Oh cookie you'll be fine hun. I had one a few years ago due to bladder problems so they scanned my bladder and kidneys and stuff. Fx for you and hope all goes well. Let us know what they say. Yeah it's all been a bit crazy these last few weeks, I just hope this cycle isn't a crazy long one so I'm back knowing where I am.

I've no idea how many DPO I am, but this evening when I went to the loo I noticed a browny discharge in my knickers and also when I wiped!! I thought maybe implantation but I thought that would have been more red? And now I am thinking maybe AF is coming early, but I never spot before AF!! xxx

I have been following and can see that this Ttc business is an emotional roller coaster! one which I don't think ends until we have a beautiful baby in our arms and even then I'm sure we will worry and stress. I hope things work out for you all sooner rather than later how long are some of your cycles? Mine being 41 days long feel like they last forever!!! But I used opks last month for the first time and on day 27 had a very clear positive - which I thought would never come. Just so glad to know i am actually ovulating and in with a chance. Fingers crossed for this cycle now. Just a little worried as other half is quite a heavy smoker x

Haha, Loula, yep making myself wait to test will be key. But I'm determined not to symptom spot this cycle. Will just have to keep myself busy I guess.

Jjspoon - Yeah it's not something I ever thought I'd wish for- but I didn't want to start TTC again, POAS & Get a + then be disappointed as it might have been left over hormones from the last pregnancy. If you know what I mean?

Anyway, I'm currently in 2ww, CD32 of cycle 3. AF not really due til weekend/early next week. I think I'm 12dpo. I did an IC on a whim this morning...very faint line... It appeared after about 2 mins, so within the timeframe, but wondering if it's more an Evap line as it almost looks more like an indent than an actual line?! What do you guys think? I'm seriously doubting myself and feeling a bit mental...

Hey Marmite!!! I wouldn't call that a faint line!!! Any evaps I've had on those ic's have been super duper faint and grey soooooooo I think you may be up the duff there my lovely Soo happy and excited for you! Maybe get an frer for the morning to confirm it??

Hi bobo! Thanks! It did look kinda grey in real life... I have a few frers stashed in the bathroom drawer at home so will be cracking one of those out tomorrow morning! I only did IC on a whim as was convinced it would negative and quite early still! I wasn't even properly awake. Is there any point doing one of the frers when I get home tonight do you think?! I'm just not believing it and tomorrow morning seems a very long time away...

I would stay clear of Pregnacare just to be safe. I recently read that they can delay ovulation and stop ewcm production so I stopped taking them and the following cycle was a week shorter and I had more ewcm than I had in the previous 5 cycles!!

Cookie - How did your scan go today lovely??? I hope it was a positive experience for you and you got some answers/everything was fine/you had a surprise 12 week baby in there you didn't know about or is that just me who fantasises about that??
Dh has frequently caught me looking in the mirror at my belly while thinking... ooh its definitely bigger! Maybe I'm pg and just never knew!!.. or maybe its just all the cake I ate over the weekend

Cd 8 here (where has the time flown?? I thought I was still around cycle 4 cold turkey is the best ) cm seems to be increasing but not watery yet so may start on the dtd every other day routine a bit earlier just in case

Tbh Marmite you would normally pick up a bfp on an frer before an ic. So as long as you hold your wee for a few hours I reckon you will be fine to test when you get home! I don't want to wait until the morning for you to test either haha

I agree with bobo and would also stay clear of Pregnacare! Didn't have a good experience with it. Maybe try the seven seas trying for a baby ones instead .

The time really does go faster with the cold turkey cycles because your not obsessing everyday what type of 'symptoms' you should be experiencing!
