Hi all. Sorry I have been MIA - wedding this weekend.

I totally know what you mean about wishing the time away - it's so hard not to count down to the next window of opportunity! I also have tons of pregnant friends/ acquaintances. Total count now is 6 people.

I think I am in the tww now as haven't had any more positive opk's. Off on my hols tomorrow so hopefully will be distracted and time will pass quickly. I'm due to test while I'm away so will let you know if there's any news.

I'll try to check in but we are going very rural so may not get signal/wifi. Good luck anyone who's testing before Sept and keep dtd the rest of you!!

My women's intuition naughty opks that I shouldn't be taken on cold turkey cycle tell me that my lh surge has passed so I am counting tomorrow as 1 dpo to be sure the egg has released
However I am still in a lot of pain super tender ovaries. They hurt when I move and if I'm sitting still (dtd was not pleasant). I thought it would have passed by now and starting to get a little pissed off worried Also this is probably a very silly question but do you reckon I can put a heat bag on them while in tww?? I put one in the microwave yesterday and suddenly thought am I going to melt any eggs making their way down Fallopian alley? So didn't bother....but would quite like one right now!

Help me ttc ladies, you're my only hope!

bobo you warm those little eggs my lovely. Don't think it will scramble them. Obviously I picture you as a size 8 but either way there's lots of skin, tissue and organs before it gets to the magic highway. Hope you're feeling better soon x

Bobo, I agree with Johno, think you should be fine with a heat bag to relieve your pain. Of course you could wrap it in a towel first to reduce the heat a bit if you're worried. Hope the pain eases up soon. xx

Hi ladies, hope you are all ok! I have no idea where I am in my cycle, but have decided I'm going to join the tww crew! I came off pill on 31st July with a withdrawal bleed on 5th and 6th August, so am going to poas on 2nd September. If it's neg then I'm on a long cycle so will wait it out for af. I know it is extremely wishful thinking and a bit irrational really but to be honest I just want to poas! 😂

Emotions have calmed down a bit especially since the neighbours have shut the gate. Had a good couple of days sorting out finances and seeing my bestie and everything seems much brighter. I have worked out that although i am so excited about ttc the longer it takes the more time we have to save!
Although I still wish af would turn up (never did I think I would want her here so desperately!)
What an emotional roller-coaster being off the pill is. I never knew it suppressed so much, always thought it didn't really effect me!

Luci I am 2 and a half weeks ahead of you! I hope your af turns up quicker than mine! Or maybe a bfp!!??? Did you get lots of shaggeroos (as BoBo put it!) in?

I'm on cd18. I got as many shagaroos in as poss! Ha! I aim for every other day, but sometimes life gets in the way and it will be 2 days in between. The swimmers can last a few days in there can't they so should still be ok. Don't think I've actually ovulated tho, or if I did I didn't know about it!

Got a feeling I will be on a long cycle like you but will still poas on 2nd sept anyway to get it out of my head lol. X

AF arrived for me today, a lot lighter than usual but after an unusually short 23 day cycle who knows what's going on! Im was feeling a bit down but after a "pull yourself together" talk from DH I'm feeling better and more positive now. On to the next cycle!

I'm well, thanks Seven! Think I'm 5 weeks tomorrow. Kind of getting used to feeling tired all the time now. Keep getting random bouts of nausea though which is a bit disconcerting. It seems to pop up when I least expect it! Had my letter through confirming my midwife appointment at the weekend which made everything seem a bit more real, but also came with a lot of literature about the different screenings you can opt in and out of - it's a lot to take in for both me and DH.

The Seven Seas are quite cheap on Amazon if you just wanted to try them for a month or so. They have all of your folic acid dose and everything in there too. Fx for you.

Sorry AF got you looby but love your positive attitude. Fx this cycle will be the one!

Sorry some of you are dealing with such long cycles - hopefully everything will click into place soon - whether it's a BFP or the start of a "proper" cycle so you at least know where you are (but mostly fx for BFP!).

Sorry to see some of you lovelies are having crappy cycles - mine were a bit mental coming off the pill but I did get pregnant before they seemed to sort out, if it's any consolation? Sadly it wasn't to be but don't worry too much is what I'm trying to say

Moonlight I completely understand, I kept getting little jolts of thinking what stage I would be at if I hadn't had a mc. This Thursday would have been my due date so I'm hoping that will be a bit of closure.

On a happier note, the singing teenagers making a horrendous racket on my train have just got off and so now I can have some peace don't have to make a hormonal decision between hitting someone and bursting into tears

We've decided to go away for a week in October and I got my diary out to plan it for roughly my FW that month just in case lol, not that I told dp that! Just told him it's the best week for me to get off work lol.

Thanks for the help with my toasty-ovary dilemma I used the heat bad in the end and will again tonight They seem a little better today so my body decided to hit me with one of worst migraines I've ever had my body is a bitch but it's mostly gone now!

Congrats Sarah! I love to see a bfp! Still away in Oz. Af came this week so on to cycle 5. No surprise really as not dtd enough last FW. Also with time difference have messed up with taking the seven seas daily and been drinking way too much alcohol so can continue to enjoy that. Onwards and upwards to next cycle. Good luck to all tww'ers and to sorry to those who af got! Enjoy the wine before summer is gone! 🍷

Cd13 for me and ewcm has made a show slightly earlier than expected so glad we dtd cd11! Will do again tonight, maybe tomorrow and definitely again Thursday and go from there if I think I've ovd or not by then!

I'm finding it increasingly difficult not to blurt out 'I'm preggers!' at work this week, especially when people are trying to get me to take on extra work

I am meeting a good friend tonight who knew we were ttc. I think I might tell her as she'll probably ask how things are going anyway! We tend to compare notes, it's nice to have someone to do that with in RL. She is also ttc and has been for a year so I'm afraid I'm going to baby bomb her after two cycles of trying

marmite thanks, going to give it all we've got this cycle lol. No I'm not doing opks as cycles have been so regular I don't think there's much point as I know when it's happening. Id defo tell her, I'm sure she will be pleased for you and it will be nice to have someone to share it with.

Also if you're close she might be upset to know you kept it from her even if it was to save her any upset that it happened so quickly... I'm sure she'll want to know all about how you managed it and any symptoms lol

Someone I know just announced on Facebook that their pregnant complete with scan photo... due the same week I was :'(. Didn't think I'd take it this bad! Instant tears. Thank God she didn't tell me in person....

bobo hun fill me in on your stats...? You've done cold turkey the last 2 cycles havnt you? Were you doing opks before that? Sorry I don't have the time to go back through the last 3 threads lol. I was just thinking about your migraine. When I was on the pill I got a migraine even time I took a break so I always took 3 or 4 packs back to back to get them less often. I wonder if the migraine was a good sign (although obviously not a nice one!) that something good was happening in there and your hormones had a surge? Fx for you.

Moonlight, I used to get the same. And I know someone who gets one every time she's around ov. They're really commonly linked to hormone changes so it could indeed be a good sign, Bobo! Fx for you. x
