Mpp, will look forward to seeing you over on the forum. Sorry to hear you have to move in with family but hopefully it will fly by and great that you are still going ahead with the IVF.

Brenna, we went to turkey. It was very hot and very relaxing so just what we needed. Hope all goes well with your trip.

Trixie, thanks for thinking of me. Glad the scratch all went well. Are you due to start on this next af?

Sammy, hope your scan went well?

Bloody hell Banana what on earth is going on with your eggs! I'm so sorry about your appointment yesterday. This situation is crap enough without having some arse hole treat you like shit on top. Is it worth making some kind of complaint? I hope you're OK.

Lucie I sat down this morning with my cuppa ready to read and post, I signed up... and have spent most of the day waiting for my confirmation/approval email! Hopefully it'll arrive soon and I can join properly. No answer from reprofit yet but I assume they may take a couple of days to get back to me.

Brenna24 · 29/06/2016 17:17

How did today go, Sammy?

Urgh Banana. What a nightmare. I hope you get some answers soon. Flowers

lucieloos · 29/06/2016 18:03

Sorry Banana, cross post earlier. I'm sorry things did not go as you hoped with the test. It's good that you can see your consultant so soon and hopefully he will have some more answers for you tomorrow. It does seem strange if she is saying adenomyosis and your consultant hasn't noticed anything abnormal with all the tests he has done. Hope you get some positive news soon.

MPP, glad you've managed to catch up on the forum. Have you checked your junk mail for the email? I don't think it takes all that long to come through.

Hi everyone, thank you for all the well wishes.

Oh yes Brenna - it's such a lovely idea to have your baby with the family.
A wedding in Romania? Exciting. Are there any special traditions?

Trixie - did the scratch hurt? It sounds ouchy.

Banana - I'm sorry you had such a horrible appointment. Glad you're seeing you're consultant so soon to go through it all. Hopefully he can shed some light. Also WHAT is going on with your AMH?! Having those eggs is a comfort though in terms of knowing you have time to investigate what is causing the other problems. Flowers

So as for me. Scan this morning showed a lining of 7.8mm (!), and A LOT of follicles. 7 on the right and 17 on the left. Some of them are really teeny though and will no way be ready in time. I do have a19mm, 18mm, 17mm, 16mm, 2 X 14mm, 13mm, 12mm and an 11mm which may catch up. The nurse seemed to think we'd get about 8 mature eggs. I had to dash home at lunch to do a last minute menopur to try to grown some of the 11/12/13 ones a bit more! It's trigger and last suprecur tonight at 9.15 (ovatrille this time), nothing tomorrow and transfer Friday morning! Eeeek. Xx

Brenna24 · 29/06/2016 18:25

How exciting Sammy 8 sounds pretty good (especially 8 good ones). I have everything crossed for you.

They haven't told me anything about specific traditions. Apparently the wedding mass is at 4pm, dinner is at 7pm them we dance until dawn Shock. I am an old woman now, I have no idea if I can manage to stay up that late. I can't wait to see what other traditions there are that they haven't thought to mention. We had a second wedding in Italy last year, 4 months after our scottish one. In Italy you have your wedding mass in the morning, then some photos, then you go to the restaurant, have a buffet for a couple of hours. Then you have a 7 or so course meal which lasts until early evening. Between each course you play games like Mr and Mrs (with some sometimes dodgy questions), the bride and groom racing to change a nutella-ed nappy on a couple of dolls (DH won that one by a fraction of a second but I ahve photographic evidence of him holding the doll upside down by one leg to wipe its bum Grin), dancing, going round the table to chat to people and take photos etc. Then some dancing in the evening and off home for a relatively early night. I absolutely loved the games and they should be incorporated into british weddings.

loopylou1984 · 29/06/2016 20:23

Thank you Brenna.

Your wedding sounds so fun. I'd cringe a bit now at the Nutella baby, but would have found it hilarious before infertility!

DH might not get back in time for trigger... I might be going this alone ladies Confused

Borisisback · 29/06/2016 21:21

Sammy great news on your folicles and lining. Sounds like you'll be good to go. Exciting. Everything crossed for you.

Banana - what on earth? Sorry you had a crap appointment too. You should retrain as a fertility expert with the amount of information you know. Hope you can get answers from your consultant soon.

Mpp eeek - welcome to club reprofit :) hope they get back to you soon, they seem to be able to fit couples in easily.

Lucie welcome back

Hi to everyone else.

News from me - 20 week scan showed a normal wriggly baby - and it's a boy :) hope it's ok to share that.

loopylou1984 · 29/06/2016 21:29

Thank you Boris - congratulations again on your baby boy!

Trigger is done. DH came home in time to be with me for it Smile

Borisisback · 29/06/2016 21:32

Yeyy for trigger shot. Well done! Xx

Brenna24 · 29/06/2016 22:23

The nutella baby was particularly funny as I was pregnant at the time and everyone knew it. I even got congratulated by the priest about it (unusual in the extreme in a catholic wedding but it was a blessing rather than a wedding and we were already married).

Congratulations boris.

Well done Sammy. I stage further.

Itsme247 · 30/06/2016 06:52

Congratulations Boris! 20 weeks really does fly by!

Sammy well done on trigger, the ovitrelle pens do look a little confusing!

Banana that's absolutely unacceptable! How can a mistake like that happen, urgh! ot sounds a very confusing time but I'm sure your consultant will sort it!

Brenna will be thinking of you.

Menopur is making me feel like crap, I can't wait to finish!

JustTrixie · 30/06/2016 10:38

MPP, I did think that the early bleeding I had was exactly how I imagined implantation bleeding would be. Would be a miracle if I were pregnant though as I'm not on any immune meds, we only DTD twice nowhere near ov and had the scratch.

Lucie, we are going off next AF as we have to have another nurses appointment (just to sign some more consent forms) and there wasn't availability until the middle of July. AF seems to be starting very slowly and a bit stop/start which is unusual for me so quite glad we're not going off this one.

Sammy, scratch didn't hurt at all. Was a bit crampy getting everything into place but didn't actually feel the scratch itself. Yay for trigger being out of the way!

Sorry you are having such a tough time Banana. I hope your appointment goes well today.

Congratulations Boris!! Brilliant news, can't believe you are 20 weeks already, wow!

Pikz · 30/06/2016 10:56

Banana I think you need a clear plan for definite. Have they done a laproscopy? That was the only thing that really diagnosed everything for me and actually give us a treatment plan.

Pikz · 30/06/2016 10:57

Still lurking cheering you all on Flowers

MPP81 · 30/06/2016 11:18

Morning all!

Lucie yes I checked my junk mail and it wasn't there but it has come through this morning so I'll probably join properly tomorrow morning now as I'm out today :)

Sammy That's awesome news about your scan and the trigger shot! Transfer Friday! Brilliant! EVERYTHING crossed for you!

Brenna that sounds like a fantastic wedding. I love the idea of the gameseas though I'm not sure that id look at Nutella in the same way afterwards!

Boris! That's fantastic news! I'm so glad the scan went well and massive congratulations to you! I'm looking forward to joining club reprofit (as well as being a little scared!)

itsme sorry to hear the menopur is making you feel like crap. Hope you feel better soon.

Trixie the big question is.. did af show up yesterday after and if not is she usually late? Though if you didn't dtd is there another explanation? If it were me I'd be trying (and failing) not to get my hopes up so I hope you are OK.

JustTrixie · 30/06/2016 14:31

I think AF is here properly today MPP, it's not unusual for me to be a few days late though. I must admit that I did get my hopes up a teeny tiny bit but I am fine and suspect that the early bleeding may have been caused by the scratch last week.

MPP81 · 30/06/2016 16:22

That sucks Trixie Sad It's incredible how, month after month, it's still possible to get hopeful about this stuff. I hope you're OK.

loopylou1984 · 30/06/2016 20:27

Itsme the ovitrelle was actually so much easier than the pregnyl. FYI I asked my nurse why they changed their trigger and apparently there is a national shortage of pregnyl!
What symptoms are you getting from the menopur? And what dose are you on.

trixie I'm glad the scratch was ok, fx it does the trick for next cycle.

Waves to pikz

trixie\MPP i still get my hopes up too sometimes. You're not alone.

So it's egg collection day tomorrow. I think the hcg from the trigger is making me feel a bit off, I've been kind of queasy all day but if I eat something then it goes away. I'll survive though. I really want my lining to have reach 8mm by tomorrow. 7.8 to 8 in two days isn't really that much to ask is it? I'd just feel so much more positive if it hit the magic 8mm.

Have Accupuncture a couple of hours after collection. Sedative + acu... I think I might actually fall asleep!

loopylou1984 · 30/06/2016 20:29

Oh yeah, and I won an award at work today where the prize involves going to a gin bar, slap up meal and cocktails right slap bang in the middle of the two week wait! Fab. X

Borisisback · 30/06/2016 20:37

I wonder if the national shortage of pregnyl is from loads of people smashing the vials and spilling the content trying to get the damn things open.

Good luck for tomorrow sammy everything crossed that it goes smoothly and congrats on the award :)

Brenna24 · 30/06/2016 20:42

Oh Sammy that timing sucks. Fingers crossed it is worth it.

Oh dear Boris Grin

loopylou1984 · 30/06/2016 20:45

Ha. Yes probably Boris! I laugh now, but cried my eyes out at the time.
I can't remember what happened with yours, but I know it was worse than mine! Xx

Borisisback · 30/06/2016 20:52

Our pregnyl fiasco was DH smashed all four vials into his thumbs, we had to syringe the drugs up from the floor, round the blood and broken broken glass. I've never known dH sob or be hysterical. he still has horrors about that night. Its such a stressful time, thoes fiddly vials should be banned! Really pleased you avoided a repeat of your previous horror. That should never be repeated.

loopylou1984 · 30/06/2016 20:58

Oh god, I remember now! Shock
