Congratulations stealth - wonderful news!!!

VillageFete · 06/05/2016 18:18

Cwtchy and Stealth Fabulous news, huge congrats, really hoping this is your wonderful happy ending! Did either pf you do anything different this cycle? Clomid, IVF etc?

Amy Take no notice of opk's. This is my first cycle on clomid and neither clearblue nor Boots own brand picked up on ovulation, yet I had a blood test on day 21 and rang my GP for the results today and it was consistent with ovulation, the number the Dr said was 98 and it has to be over 30 apparently.

Anyone else know if 98 is good and if it means I deffo ovulated? Hard to get my hopes up without being certain, but also it seems it's the fertilising of the egg/implantation that's the problem for me as I ovulate on my own a lot of the time anyway.

I have been in a right mood today and have a constant heavy feeling right in the bottom of my stomach, plus i've had period cramps so pretty sure it's not my month again. My mood is terrible in the days leading up to AF. I'm around 9/10 DPO and I think i'll come on, on day 28 because of the clomid, which will be Wednesday.

Dunlin1987 · 06/05/2016 18:39

Village 98 is very good!! I had 80 and they told me that was very high. Got pregnant that cycle xxx

stealthbanana · 06/05/2016 18:40

98 is superb village. Don't count yourself out just yet!

This is the result of a frozen embryo transfer following my freeze all IVF round in March. Am really hoping it hangs on as it would be lovely not to have to start again!

CwtchyQ · 06/05/2016 19:14

The only thing different is that this is my first cycle of metformin. I have no real idea what my dpo is, at a guess looking back at temps I'm 14dpo due tomorrow. Tested on a whim. Really don't know how this happened - barely had sex. I just can't see it working out.

Will test again tomorrow and see if they are stronger.

Shellbell0403 · 06/05/2016 19:27

Cwtchy be positive honey!!! Will keep my fingers and toes and all crossed!!!

Village 98 is fab and defo a pure sign of ovulation. Think I'm on the same boat as you! Whole implantation thing and timing etc!!

dunlin how you feeling today? Xx

cwtchy I think when you relax and don't try as hard things work out! Stress is not a good thing!

Shell I have kept busy all day (learnt to knit, made 1/4 of a scarf, bought 12 pots and potted loads of plants for the garden, cut the grass, cleaned the house and had a bath) it was a pretty productive day. Now I have stopped I start to think more. I have not slept at all. Last night I apparently kept calling out for my husband even though he was laid beside me. Just need to get past Thursday (booked my d&c) then I can hopefully have closure and start to move forward.

Definitely making me feel better hearing all this wonderful news!!

Blondie0912 · 06/05/2016 23:15

Tests today a bit fainter I think. Weirdly a CBD says 1-2 today whereas it said Not Pregnant yesterday so I really don't know what's happening. I feel annoyed at myself that I didn't track my temps properly so I don't know exactly where I'm at - just took them occasionally. I do just have a feeling this will be a chemical preg. Not great obviously, but not the end of the world.

Dunlin1987 · 07/05/2016 15:50

If the lines get fainter you don't need to worry. Some tests are more sensitive than others (even from the same pack) and there could be less dye in the test.

Mummabear22 · 07/05/2016 15:53

Good luck everyone, I'm sure you'll all get your babies. It was a long hard road for me but I got there. I was told I would probably never have kids but I now have a beautiful DD, who is the light of my life. Hope you all get there FlowersFlowers

CwtchyQ · 07/05/2016 16:10

Thanks dunlin. Will just sit tight and see what happens.
