Sorry for the extremely graphic title for this conversation but I need some assurance that the things that are happening to my body isn't me being over excited..?

I wore white pants yesterday and when I went to the loo there was a slight spot of which could have been light blood or very dark red/orange CM.. nothing more today but I was sooo bloated yesterday I had to undo my trousers.. this has now passed.

Also my boobs are very sore so much that I had to put my bra on lying down this morning and also felt quite tearful when I took it off last night..

I feel sick but haven't been sick, when I think of being sick (generally do this if hung over as it speeds the process)- It makes it worse..

Also I have very heavy CM, not egg like when I was ovulating but thick and slightly sticky..

I know that you are probably eating your lunch while reading this and I do sincerely apologise but I have suffered an ectopic and a miscarriage (MC in Oct 06)- my husband doesn't want to get over excited nor will he let me test early becaise I have done this lots of times over the last 6 months and got BFP but then a couple of days later got my AF... We have been trying for 18 months and I am desperate for a baby- I didn't feel this out of sorts when I was pregnant last time, but I don't think I had very high hormone levels... also woke up this morning full of spots and I usually have very clear skin.. have had to go to bed the last couple of nights because I am sooo tired- but could these symptoms just be in my head?
My AF is due next Tues

Please help x

Yes it was early MC my AF was due 3rd of Oct and got a BFP- had an early scan because of previous ectopic (which I lost a tube) so they needed to check it wasn't another an in my remaining tube... there wasn't a heartbeat and oct 21st it came away... it answered a lot of querstions as to whether I could concieve tho- very sad but feel much stronger now dh is great... and as burstingbug has proven you will most likely catch and will have to have your dress let out!! Fingers crossed!! Maybe I should book that expensive holiday abroad and jinx myself!

I tested with DS1 1 week after af was due and did over half a dozen different tests. With DS2 I tested several days before af was due! Again, did half a dozen tests. Every test I did came up with a faint line or dot to start with, then got clearer the later I tested.

ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 10:44

unfortunately I have ordered my dress in a size 10. Any dress makers on here?!!

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 10:46

burstingbug- did you use the tests than can predict 4 days before your af is due? I did this last night and there was something and also usually sceptic dh agreed but really not clear in my head- it wasn't an early prediction test- you what I am going to town for lunch shortly I am going to have to get a digital early prediction test aren't I???!!!!

Becky, you have been through a tough time ttc. I remember your mc. You know it can happen though. Keep hope and stay healthy and strong. Give yourself the best possible chance. Have you considered reflexology or acupuncture? xx

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 10:48

I had to have my dress re-sized before the wedding because I lost a stone due to a dose of the flu- I looked like a rake! You could have a panel put in though- it will happen now you watch because you've already ordered you dress in a size 10!!!

I know what I would do!! We are very alike Becky!!

ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 10:49

Its a zipped back, could always have a corset back put in!

burstingbug · 13/01/2007 10:50

I hope you all get BFP's soon. My friend came off the pill the same time I did and didn't fall preg until I did with ds2 (our babies would have been due within a few days of each other). Sadly she had the 12wk scan and found out that bean had stopped growing at 8wks, she had a d&c at 14wks as nothing came away. I do feel really bad as I've got 2 lovely DS's and she's had a mc

burstingbug · 13/01/2007 10:52

I used superdrugs own, boots own, predictor, and some really cheap ones that were 2 for £1 all gave a positive reading. Maybe I was just lucky.

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 10:53

I've tried everything.. still having reflexology not to keen on the acupuncture had it twice but I am frightened of needles so I was so stressed! I am 24 so have a lot of time, but both by mom and nan had ovarian/cervical cancer at 30-32 and I've always had irregular cells so thats why I am starting so early on.. the doctors have been great but both me and my dh have agreed not to try any aggressive fertility routes until I am 26 as it is a lot of commitment and although we are living and breathing baby making at the moment, I don't feel ready..I also tried Agnus Castus, which I don't recommend a lot of conflicting reports

I feel bad for my best mate- She is ttc but nothing is happening at the mo. Its been 8 months. She doesnt know I'm ttc, if I do get pg, I will feel happy for me but sad for her. I did deliberate over it for a while but I can't plan my life around other peoples plans so have gone ahead.

burstingbug · 13/01/2007 10:57

My friend is also my workmate and I sit next to her in the office, I'm starting work again in 2 weeks. Can't begin to imagine how awful it must be for her

ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 10:58

good idea to start now. I'm 25 and my mum has had cervical cancer and I've had the whole colposcopy thing done etc. I'm just eager to have a baby with DP. He is such a fab daddy to my little one that I just want us to have one of our own. I feel really strongly about it.

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 11:01

I really hope it happens for you Amy.. asap preferably! Its sad about both your friends guys... none of my friends are TTC... they don't know we are really except my closest friend during my MC but as far as she is concerned it wasn't planned- if only! Life is a funny thing isn't it.. Anyway I am off to town now for lunch.. of course I will be in boots and I will be back on her later today to let you know the outcome.. BFN or not!!! xxx bye for now x

Becky- make sure you do!! speak soon!! xx

ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 17:30

BECKY!!!! Any news????!!!!!!

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 17:38

Hi Amy- well there is a bit of a story.. so I went for lunch with my sister and she was really stressed with her boyfriend and wanted to go straight home afterwards so I rushed her to boots and with all the rushing I bought 2 boots test but they are not early predictors- I remember standiung at the till and thinking £8 for 2 thats cheap- for god sake... anyway I have taken them, anyway one when i got hom and one just now and they were both BFN... now as much as I am thinking that I should accept it- there are still 4 days until my AF arrives, therefore I am thinking maybe if they had been early predicters the ones you can take 4 days before they may have picked something up- am I completely clutching at sraws?? In normal circumstances I am very well adjusted but at the moment I feel like a crazy woman

OP posts:
ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 17:43

That is totally normal.

I bought 2 early predictors a couple of weeks ago and if I remember rightly the back said they detect pregnancy in 50 or 60% of pregnant women. Maybe its a sign you should wait- although I know thats not what you want to hear!

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 17:46

I know- I think if they had been early predictors then I would probably accept if they had said BFN- but because they were ones that you are meant to use on the day your AF is due I'm questioning myself... so I am no further forward- I could just scream... funny thing is I have had the wrap them up and put them in the bin as my dh doesn't agree with me testing early - he's at the football today so thats why I've got away with it!!!

OP posts:
ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 17:56

OOOH BECKY!! pop to asda!! thats what I would do!!

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 18:00

I've just had a look on a website that say that Boots normal tests which I have taken pick up 50miu of HCG in urine- now apparently the average level of HCG on day 28 if you are pregnant should be at 64.7 now I'm 2 days off this ... I'm going mad... but that could explain why they are negative as the early predictors pick up 25miu.. so the one's I have taken today would probably not ick anything up even if I was pregnant- feel a bit better now...

OP posts:
ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 18:07

No they def wouldnt have detected anything- kust not designed to. xxxpoor youxxxx don't worry. you have two options- wait or pop to the shops tomorrow!!

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 18:14

I am going to wait - i think- I have taken 4 tests already- they weren't the right ones- but 4 tests none the less.... I have no willpower. I will be back on tomorrow night to tell you that I have probably taken another 4!!! I hate this because I wanted a drink tonight but I won't dare! Just incase
