Sorry for the extremely graphic title for this conversation but I need some assurance that the things that are happening to my body isn't me being over excited..?

I wore white pants yesterday and when I went to the loo there was a slight spot of which could have been light blood or very dark red/orange CM.. nothing more today but I was sooo bloated yesterday I had to undo my trousers.. this has now passed.

Also my boobs are very sore so much that I had to put my bra on lying down this morning and also felt quite tearful when I took it off last night..

I feel sick but haven't been sick, when I think of being sick (generally do this if hung over as it speeds the process)- It makes it worse..

Also I have very heavy CM, not egg like when I was ovulating but thick and slightly sticky..

I know that you are probably eating your lunch while reading this and I do sincerely apologise but I have suffered an ectopic and a miscarriage (MC in Oct 06)- my husband doesn't want to get over excited nor will he let me test early becaise I have done this lots of times over the last 6 months and got BFP but then a couple of days later got my AF... We have been trying for 18 months and I am desperate for a baby- I didn't feel this out of sorts when I was pregnant last time, but I don't think I had very high hormone levels... also woke up this morning full of spots and I usually have very clear skin.. have had to go to bed the last couple of nights because I am sooo tired- but could these symptoms just be in my head?
My AF is due next Tues

Please help x

I have never had a mc so can't imagine what it feels like but I completly understand what yo say about loving your husband so much and wanting to have a mini you and you have so much love to give a child.

I'm lucky enough to already have one dd who is 17 months, sometimes wonder how I could ever love another child as much as her but I know I can.

I'm sure your time will come hun and I'm really hoping all your syptoms are a sign of good things to come.

Have you decided when you might test? Do you know when your af is due?

FurryFox · 12/01/2007 11:59

Sorry - just read in your first post af is due tues. Doh

beckyjones · 12/01/2007 12:02

From what my mom has said you love all your children in different ways but equally as intensively.. if you know what I mean.. hopefully one day I can agree with her!

Fingers crossed for you! My AF is due 17th- so I could test today 4 days early and all- but I am thinking about buying two and taking one tomorrow morning and then saving the next incase my AF is late.

My DH is very worried about everything because of the previous ectopis and MC he siad as much as he longs for a baby he wouldn't ever want to endanger me- (the last ectopic was quite bad as I have to have 2 blood transfusions, removal of a tube and surgery etc)- he was mortified when that happened and fears that the most, so it will always be a worrying time, but fingers crossed third time lucky!

Good luck. I also feel as though I have heavt veiny boobs and increased discharge but I don't know if I am working these sysmptons up in my head. My AF is due on the 19th and I'm feeling so impatient!

beckyjones · 12/01/2007 12:57

goingfor3- tell me about it- I have worn white pants for the last 3 days so I can check doubly about the CM, but is definitely a lot heavier than usual.. boobs are killing me, when I'm in bed I have lie on by back instead of the usual side position!

I was so sick this morning but I don't want to get excited but I am soooo excited, I think the guys at work are shocked at how much I am typing this morning but it's because I am on here!!

Fingers crossed for you too- I ave to say I am like this every month though and it is rubbish when you get a BFN but I always look to my AF as a sign that its working properly in there and also it's a whole new month!

Becky,
my first symptom was thick and sticky cm (sorry, bit gross)when normally pre af I didn't really get any cm. Also got really veiny boobs quite early on and they are still really veiny now. DS is 16 weeks and I'm bf
Good luck.

beckyjones · 12/01/2007 15:59

hi becky....hope you resisted urge to test!!! i have been beside myself today, i just cant stop thinking about the real chance that i might be prg, am just so excited. I think sickness is a wonderful sign for you!!!!!!!
Sorry to say I have no symptoms to report apart from my little bleed, which i am pinning all my hopes on to im afraid. It was just so unusual for me, im convinced it means something special. Also the scent of the plug in air freshner is doing my head in!! ive turned it right down to number 1, unheard of for me because normally i have them right up and can hardly smell them, but just over past few days, it seems SO strong i have to turn it down or unplug it. Also have just cleaned bathroom and kitchen and bleach smell has nearlly knocked me sideways, normally i LOVE the smell of bleach but it seemed to be really strong and has made my eyes sting.
OMG i am turning into a stark raving lunatic xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I so hope Af stays away for us BOTH all weekend x x

honeyapple · 12/01/2007 20:29

This thread sounds just like me on the january thread! Good luck all.xx

trace2 · 12/01/2007 20:38

i am really getting excited for you both

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 09:38

little update i have been silly and did test- but I used predictor which is only sensitive enough to use of the first day opf your period.. don't know silly logic I suppose because if it was BFN then I would be able to just say well it's not sensitive enough.. blah..
They are horrible tests and we spent about an hour lying on our backs under the bedroom light last night holding it up- my dh usually very negative (so not to get my hopes up) did admit that he could see a mark in 'pregnant' window, but then shot me down and said it was very strong etc.. now I don't know whether it was a figment of our imagination, but it is a rubbish test which shouldn't be able to pick up 4 days before af- so I have promised myself not to test until my AF is due (Wed) as we both proceeded to discuss baby names for 3 hours!
Hope the AF stays away for everyone- but good news is I've been sick again this morning.. dh still reminded me that it could have been the forzen pizza on Thursday night but I think it's rubbish as I only felt in the morning yesterdeay and today- crikey!!!!

Hope this makes sense explaining my crazy hormonal logic is difficult- ifI'd taken a clearblue then I would be in this predicament- damn me!

Crikey becky sounds promising!!! How on earth are you going to resist not buying the early clearblue test, I'd be banging on the chemist door before opening time!! Good luck, everything crossed for you!

3xamum · 13/01/2007 09:54

Just wanted to wish you loads of luck. I remember 10 long years ago feeling the same as you do now. Had a pregnancy test at a clinic which was BFN and left in tears but AF never arrived and the result was DS1.

Keep us updated!

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 09:56

I know- but I shouldn't...problem is my dh is one of these obsessive boy beauty regime people and he needs to go to boots tomorrow to get supplies and I will find myself we a handful if I'm not careful.. he can go on his own because I don't want to tempt fate.. I am soooo excited and also haven't drank any alcohol for 10 days just to be on the safe side!!!

ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 10:06

God Becky- I dont know how you are staying so strong. I must admit this month i tested early then proceeded to dismantle the test to check for 'marks'!!

{{{{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} and good luck xxxxxxx

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 10:10

We dismantled ours too- how funny... Good luck to you too hun- are you still waiting for your AF?

Been and gone I'm afraid, I'm only giving myself a couple of months because am getting married this DEC. Was hoping to have baby before wedding but if not to be then can always try again nearer the time. I have a daughter already but this is DPs first.

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 10:23

Fingers crossed for you Amy.. and congrats on the wedding, one of my close friends was maried in Dec last year- I had never been to a winter wedding as mine was in the spring- her wedding was magical.. Hope it happens for you.. we've been trying for 18 months now but I've had past problems- I think in hinesight we should try and not get pregnant and then it will happen!!! It's a bugger when you want something so much! Keep me updated x

OP posts:
ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 10:27

The best thing to do is book a holiday for 10 months time. It will happen then!

I am hoping for a lovely frosty day! very excited but have got 'baby ache' so am just going with what my body wants at the mo.

My MIL informed me the other night (she doesnt know we a ttc but we know of people that are) that there is such a thing as trying to hard. I reckon having sex rather than BDing may be the key! xxx

ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 10:28

And any past problems may be making you feel very tense. It's very difficult Becky but I'm sure you will stay strong! xxxxxx

beckyjones · 13/01/2007 10:33

This is very ture.. In Sept we had reduced the bding because there were a lot of birthdays etc and I would be drinking most weekends etc... we had discussed that oursex life had become a bit routine and forced so I had a little trip to Ann Summers- had the best Friday night ever- lay there afterwards and said could you imagine if I got preg tonight, we couldn't exactly tell our child that they were conceieved after a night of PVC! And you can guess what happened -BFP- it wasn't meant to be however, but it does show sometimes bding does become a bit routine, I make sure we have an ann summers night at least once a month even if it is deliberatey between CD11-14!

OP posts:
ammylovesbabies · 13/01/2007 10:35

HA HA!! so you have managed to get pregnant? Has it been early mc? xx

burstingbug · 13/01/2007 10:35

Amy, me and DH cooled things off on the ttc front because we we're getting married later that year, low and behold I fell pregnant and got married when I was roughly 24wks! It took 10mths from comming off the pill to concieve DS1, 9mths post DS1's birth, DS2 was concieved. They are now almost 23mths and almost 5mths.
