Original relaxed thread: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2537105-relaxed-ttc-feb-march-april-2016

Hi all, thought I would start a new thread before we capped the earlier one. Here's hoping for more laid back BFPs and a bit of OT chat.

Everyone welcome, waiting to try, TTC, not preventing, being hopeful, and trying not to flip the fck out squinting at lines on sticks.

And congrats buffalo! Testing everyday is something I'd do too Grin

jennymac31 · 09/05/2016 14:31

I can now add nausea to the dizziness, stomach cramps & back ache. Have had enough so am off to the doctors, as dh wants to make sure ill health is not due to diabetes, anaemia or thyroid issue (due to my high bmi). Hopefully I'll find out what's wrong once and for all.

Eva30 · 09/05/2016 15:07

Good luck Jennymac, hope all goes well

Sienna9522 · 09/05/2016 16:14

A week to wait and feeling super down and frustrated that I already feel like I'm out this month. My boobs are really sore and sometimes this can be a sign of AF for me and I just feel like it hasn't happened this month. I also can't help but feel envious of the 3 friends that have just announced pregnancies Sad wish I could feel positive but feeling really pessimistic at the moment.

jennymac31 · 09/05/2016 17:42

Well it turns out I'm not pregnant at the moment. Doctors said it was too soon to get an accurate reading but I did have blood in my urine, which could either by potential AF or implantation bleed. Turns out I've got an infection so am on antibiotics for the next week.

jennymac31 · 10/05/2016 04:47

Feeling quite pants at the moment and can't get to sleep. Stomach cramps have gone for now but I keep feeling bubbles and waving sensation in tummy. Not if it's pregnancy related or just my infection.

Hope everyone is well xx

cheesemumma · 10/05/2016 05:35

Hi Jenny- hop0e you feel better soon and the antibiotics sort it all out xx

Sorry you feel like that sienna. it's so rubbish this ttc malarky. And really hard trying not to obsess over it. I know it's had but try not to think about it too much until your due af. you will just drive yourself crazy i've been there. At least wait until your bfn to feel depressed, cut yourself some slack . hope you start to feel a bit better today. xx

cheesemumma · 10/05/2016 05:38

p.s. soooooo know what you mean about others being pregnant. as soon as you atart trying it's like boom boom boom everyone you've ever met is pregnant. Was watching my husband play with our niece last night and then waiting to visit my sisters and sister in law in the summer who will have all had babies in the space of 1 year! I love them all but it doesn't always make it easy. be strong, i think the depression and frustration come in waves, ride it out lol!

wispaxmas · 10/05/2016 07:25

That sucks, jenny, but my fingers are still crossed for a bfp. Just because you have an infection to account for the symptoms this could still be your cycle.

So I'm definitely in the fertile week now as I have all the signs. Not using OPKs, but trust me, I know. Am temping just to pinpoint ovulation after the fact and judge our chances, but it's looking good even though DH is off the Paris tomorrow afternoon, so this cycle won't entirely be a write off!

Hope you feel better soon Jenny. When is/was AF due?

Good news wispa! When do you think the TWW will start? I think I might be about to enter. Will still DTD a few more times to be on the safe side though. AF usually comes at the latest cd35 for me (unless it's a freak cycle which I've only had one of since having DS 16 months ago) and I'm cd22 today!!

jennymac31 · 10/05/2016 08:28

Sunnydays1987 - My af is due on Monday so I'm torn as to whether I should test a day or two before or just wait until I'm late. I swear I don't remember being this anxious 1st time round but I probably was! Dh says I'm a bit of a stress-fiend.

jennymac31 · 10/05/2016 08:28

I meant Monday 15th!

Eva30 · 10/05/2016 08:40

Hey Jenny I am exactly the same as you. Ovia says 5 days til take test so I am going to test on Sunday. I felt really really sick this morning and also had a terrible sleep too but could just have a bug. My basal body temp is still high, if not preg it should dip Thurs or Fri before AF.

jennymac31 · 10/05/2016 08:50

No, I actually meant Sunday 15th. Definitely need to go back to bed lol.

wispaxmas · 10/05/2016 10:05

I'm expecting I'll ovulate tomorrow or Thursday, but will plan to test 12 days after my temp rise, so earliest will be 24th to test. I'm away for the weekend before with friends, so may do a cheapie test on the weekend to adjust how much I drink, though, on the slight off chance I get an early bfp Grin

OP posts:
Eva30 · 10/05/2016 10:21

Haha, yes I've got OH's sisters wedding next weekend and then a holiday so if I get BFP this weekend I'm going to have to make a master plan for the wedding of how to hide not drinking!

BuffaloCustardbath · 10/05/2016 22:23

Thanks for the congrats everyone, so kind. I'm going to stick around here if that's ok, I want to see lots more BFPs.

Keep positive Sienna, I hope it's soon your time.

I hope you get some good news following the anti bs Jenny, fingers crossed!

Here's the photo Sunny, I've resisted and haven't tested again yet Grin

So AF should be due on Sunday. I feel like we're in with a shot this month but am trying not to count my chickens before they are hatched. Playing funny mind games at the moment - I ordered the Impatient Woman's Guide to Getting Pregnant online and booked myself in for several hot yoga classes next week.

Eva30 · 11/05/2016 09:01

Hi dynia, looks like a few of us are due AF on Sunday, hopefully none will arrive Grin I am not overly hopeful, I couldn't help but test last night (9dpo) and although it's obvs way too early it put me on a downer! This waiting is driving me nuts

SunnyDays1987 · 11/05/2016 09:08

Love the BFP Buffalo! Yeah stick around and bring us your good luck!

Hope AF doesn't arrive for those who are due this week. End of next week for me, I'm kind of wishing time away whilst trying to stay relaxed about it all!!

dynia · 11/05/2016 09:13

Yeah, fertility friend seems to think it isn't due until Tuesday but I think the fact that I logged the first cycle when I went off the pill confused it (it was 31 days versus my normal 28). The last two cycles were 28 days, starting early Sunday morning. I'm not buying tests as don't want to jinx it.

SunnyDays1987 · 11/05/2016 09:28

Ah yeah I'd go off your normal cycle. I use a standard app where you just log cycle dates and I had a random 41 day cycle when I started taking conception vitamins so that messes up the predicted AF due date. I've just amended it to show what I think!

jennymac31 · 11/05/2016 09:49

Still getting intermittent stomach & back cramps but I've now got a sinking feeling that Af may be arriving soon. These next few days are going to be torture!

wispaxmas · 11/05/2016 14:18

dynia, you can make FF ignore certain cycles- I think it's under stats where you can select or deselect certain cycles.
