Took the liberty of starting a new thread (with what is obviously a brilliant piece of rhyme!) as I assume everyone else is sleeping peacefully right now :)

Thanks for the lovely messages everyone. I have to go to the hospital after work to be weighed and have more bloods and they are going to order the meds for me and then I'm back in tomorrow for it to be administered.

Dizzym, of course you are welcome here. I have been to reprofit many times and anticipate I will be going there for quite a bit longer so if I can help you in anyway then please feel free to ask away.

Welcome Dizzy! I have a teenage DD from a previous relationship, and I think there's one or two who've mentioned they have DC too. I felt something like you do about joining originally, kind of like I didn't really have a right to be here, moaning, but everyone has been incredibly welcoming and supportive.

Welcome dizzy! Glad you popped by sorry you find yourself here again but I'm sure the ladies who have been to Reprofit will be able to help you - I'm afraid I'll be as useful as a chocolate teapot to you! But hope I can offer you words of support!

Lucie 10 day holiday in the sun sounds perfect! I haven't been to turkey before - I hope you have a lovely time, especially after 2 years without one - you deserve it.

All who replied about temping and vits, thank you! I will def start temping, although I think I might be getting ill as I have a really sore throat and that might be a temp which could mess with the temping / baseline ?!(bleugh) so I'll start on CD1 which should be around next Friday.

I might still give pregnacare a try but not keen on lengthening the cycle as I'm averaging 33 days already. Hmm lots to the about!

Yay hello DizzyM. It's nice to hear from you. I read all the bumsnet updates, but tend to post here mostly as everyone just gets it.

Bean - hurrah for 12 eggs! How are you feeling?

MPP - well I got positive opks this morning and this evening, so not sure if that was the Accupuncture or just a coincidence. Ov will probably happen tomorrow based on previous experience. Who knows. It is very relaxing though.... If you don't count the punchy one she put in my head that is!

Lol Boris! That's something I hadn't considered for after a bfp! Xx

MPP you've certainly got a busy few months planned! Sorry I haven't read too far back but will this be your first IVF cycle?

Maple I think a chocolate teapot is underrated! Thanks for the support it's always lovely to share this journey with people with people who can completely understand. With regards to vitamins I've always taken pregnacare and it has never affected my cycle in any way. I do also take coq10 after reading about it online.

Sammy so pleased you're enjoying the acupuncture. I have it too and really find it relaxing. Like you I don't particularly enjoy the head one but needs must and all that! Are you ttc this cycle? When do you start your next round of acupuncture?

Oh and just some info from me. I'm 35, ttc#2 and currently on cycle 26. I was diagnosed with endo a few years ago, low progesterone (which was low when tested again last year) and low AMH (2012) though not sure of the levels as I didn't even think to ask at the time. I had my day 21 bloods done again on Monday and will hopefully have the results by the end of the week. Previously DH's SA has been fine but last June he was tested again and had 0% morphology but we conceived a month after these tests and that pregnancy sadly ended in a mmc in September at 12 weeks. DH has an appointment with his GP tomorrow to arrange another SA. The rest of my tests will have to be done privately and we will get these done after my AF in June and then will go for the IVF.

DizzyM - this is our last chance to ttc naturally before the next IVF. Once AF arrives I'll be going on the pill until they decide they want me to start. This will be a NHS cycle this time. Mind you we haven't done very well dtd so far. Temp is still low this morning (started temping again in the last 5 days so I'll know if I've ovd) so fx we can dtd tonight and it won't be too late. Xx

Aaaaagh. Awake since 5am panicking about being called to see how many fertilised. Can I ask why otd varies so much? I have been told my otd is 14 days post ec - so 12dp2dt, 11dp3dt or 9dp5dt. This seems pretty short. What's everyone's experience?

Good luck with the call bean! The waiting game is horrid. For my day 3 call the embryologist got her words mixed up - she told me that 29 (of 31) embryos "didn't make it" - she meant to say they DID make it! My heart was in my mouth for 45 seconds until we got that sorted out.

My clinic said to test on 12dpt but there was no way I was waiting that long!

How you all doing? I posted a while back but then was trying to stop obsessing (obviously unsuccessfully!). However period was due today and this morning I've started spotting so that's 16 months of unsuccessfully TTC. I feel so deflated and am getting more and more resigned to the fact that I need to realise that this is not going to happen naturally.
As always wishing buckets loads of baby dust for everyone!

Just got off the phone to the embryologist. Of the 12 eggs 10 were mature. No fertilisation at all. I'm absolutely devastated. We have to go and see the consultant this afternoon as they didn't expect this at all.

I'm so sorry Bean. Nothing we can say will make you feel any better I'd imagine but know we're all here for you and support you.

Bean I'm so sorry - I hope the consultant can shed some light and come up with a new plan of action. Fingers crossed for this afternoon.

Panda sorry you are back on this thread - you are almost on the same cycle as me! I'll be cycle 16 if when AF comes round next Friday (but I spot anything from 3 to 6 days before). Have you seen a GP at all / had any tests?

Dizzy hope DPs appointment goes well and SA show different results. Sounds promising if you conceived with 0% morphology! So sorry for the mmc Do you mind me asking if DC 1 was natural?
