Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
  5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a Kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like 'something' = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into TTC obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing a Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Well it was a good job af did not arrive as forgot to pack any "protection" but as I am on my way home now it can hurry along already!

Should work on train home but am going to try and catch up on Eastenders Blush

coribeth · 18/05/2016 19:39

Know what you mean Kwick cd 33 and no sign of af wish it would hurry the fuck up so we can get on with next cycle! However I have a fool proof plan and have got my very bestest nude satin pants on cos if anything is gonna make af pay a visit that will!!! Wink

Ain626 · 19/05/2016 07:14

I don't want to go to work today, currently putting off going by reading mn ... slept really badly last night - not entirely sure why at first, then DH started snoring around 4am so really couldn't sleep. Want to just stay home in bed.. just one more week til a week off though, and it's nearly the weekend... don't think I can have a long lie in on Saturday, but Sunday I definitely can...

Congrats to stumbly on house news. And well done for fighting with your employer.

cats glad you're feeling a little better and that you managed to work from home.

AliceScarlett · 19/05/2016 13:24

Cycle 6 today random bleeding on 7dpo is just cruel. Got an appt to see GP. Anyone else bleed between AF?

corgi88 · 19/05/2016 14:14

alice yes I had that - thought could be ovulation spotting but got checked out just in case was my cervix. Cervix normal and it's just a bit of mid-cycle bleeding, which is apparently quite normal (something to do with temporary drop in oestrogen around ice time, which can cause spotting). Best to get checked out though. Sorry it got your hopes up though pet.

Kwick709 · 19/05/2016 19:31

coribeth did nude knicker approach work? Maybe I should do the same as af still absent :(
Good news though on magic potion front - vials will be on a combined delivery to my clinic so cost lower :)

Still playing catch up at work... Will I ever get there?

coribeth · 19/05/2016 20:48

Hmm sort of Kwick as I went to the loo this morning I had small amount of spotting which I noticed as I wiped but nothing really since I am sporting a rather juicy chin spot too so I'm sure she is on route maybe just running a little behind schedule! Good news on the magic potion I shall keep my gx your af comes calling sooner rather than later, are you going for another round of ivf straight away?

Kwick709 · 20/05/2016 07:46

Hope the witch got you coribeth
I can only start IVF protocol at start of second AF post MC... So in the meantime it is all about:

  • Losing weight (not doing so great on this one)
  • Saving money Hmmso ebay and c&a indulgences MUST stop!
  • Improving egg quality and general fertility - am taking LOADS of supplements including now 5mg folic acid as I got my consultant to prescribe, need to start copious milk intake
  • Trying not to cry to often about MC
Kwick709 · 20/05/2016 18:23

Not sure if I have shared before but BEWARE of any ingredients starting with "cyclo" in beauty products - this nasty can impact fertility and has been banned elsewhere.

Ain626 · 20/05/2016 18:33

Argh! DH has annoyed me tonight. I thought I would be nice and make him a yummy dinner, then we could have a nice evening together as barely seen him all week. He's been argumentative since he got home and has gone upstairs in a foul mood, making little digs at me in the process. I'm currently eating my half of dinner by myself and feeling pretty shitty. He's totally ruined my mood when I've been in a great mood all day...

Sorry, end rant.

Kwick709 · 20/05/2016 20:44

How horrid ain Sad does he have PMT perchance? I hope he has got over whatever was bothering him and come and apologised.

I have had a little spree at superdrug... I did not know they had a loyalty program... And they are so much cheaper than Boots!

coribeth · 20/05/2016 21:46

Kwick af did indeed stop arsing around and arrived with vengeance this morning in work mid tooth extraction I might add HmmConfused
Have made an executive decision and decided when my divorce settlement final comes through I'm gonna spend some of it on ivf as I figure I'd deffo prefer baby over holiday lol! Wink

Ain626 · 21/05/2016 00:09

Haha, Kwick perhaps he does! I think he's over tired. He did apologise, but we've still been apart most of the evening. I decided to go and have a bubble bath and then do some sewing. He did also sort of hold out the olive branch and asked if I wanted to watch an episode of a TV show together that we've been watching. I said no though and went and had a bath instead which I think annoyed him slightly. A bath was on my to do list anyway though (achey muscles, wanted to see if it would help) so I don't think I was being unreasonable..

cori do you know how long that will be?

AliceScarlett · 21/05/2016 07:25

Ain yanbu.

Kwick709 · 21/05/2016 07:38

Sorry alice what is yanbu? I just learned LMAO so hope this is equally exciting!
Yay coribeth... May I ask how many weeks AF took to show? I am on week 4 and yesterday had to deforest a mole on my face which always happen around AF so gx
ain hope you have now made up and donned the cape!
More digging planned at allotment today Grin

AliceScarlett · 21/05/2016 07:57

You are not being unreasonable, comes from the am I being unreasonable forum :)

coribeth · 21/05/2016 17:12

Could be a while like have been going through divorce for over six years now but he has agreed terms in principle now so solicitors seems to think money will be actually in my account within the next couple of years (can't exceed that timeframe) don't really get the legal ins and outs but I trust what she says! Confused

Kwick709 · 21/05/2016 17:33

Couple of years coribeth WTF???? That is terrible that you have to wait so long!

Desperately need a bath - seizing up after allotment digging - have a look...

coribeth · 22/05/2016 14:33

Right I'm hoping one of you lovely viroids can help was just um giving dp a helping hand Blush not something I do very often at all and when he ejaculated it was more of a dribble than anything now I feel I may have inadvertently got to the bottom of our ttc problem anyone have any idea how you deal with a lack of projectile force problem during ejaculation???? HmmConfused

Canters15 · 22/05/2016 16:43

You could try getting dh to jizz in a pot and syringing it in cori ? I've heard of people doing this and it working. That said I'm not sure if lack of force is an is sue or not as always assumed it just swam to where it needed to be.

Ahem, great contribution after not being on the Fred for ages! Hope you're all doing ok!

coribeth · 22/05/2016 17:27

Haha yeah dropped off there for a while! But back on the ttc wagon in earnest now! Grin

kwick · 22/05/2016 20:57

And if you do not fancy a syringe coribeth then you can pay shed loads to a FC so they insert it with a catheter and speculum to where it needs to be Hmm

coribeth · 22/05/2016 21:04

Haha true kwick in all honesty though would probably pay the fc! Maybe iui would work for us after all? Hmm

kwick · 22/05/2016 21:39

Defo worth a try coribeth - very precise treatment that gives you a fighting chance. You should get offered this on NHS... Although I think this may depend on where you live.
