Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount!

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kats stats I am resident piss stick queen and if you don't test, you get a Starky's Star

When you post stats, add your predicted test/af date. We are currently running at about 49% pregnant with the grads thread over in ante-natal which we all hope to join soon.

WE SHALL WIN IN THE GAME OF SPERM MEETS EGG! IT WILL HAPPEN!

Hep sorry about your mum's call Blush
Imp congrats! GrinGrinGrinGrinThanksThanks
Jem I love your learnings! I might summarise mine!!!!

Cycle 1: dtd is exhausting. You are not 20 anymore. AF arrives. What shit.

Cycle 2: poas is fun. Apparently years of avoiding pregnancy were all for nothing. Getting preggo is a thousand times harder than not. Spent on lovehoney outfits: £25. AF arrives, blame OH

Cycle 3: I hate this. This time is the one. Shit these opks are rubbish and dont work. Damn. Egg released already. Dtd is replaced by sleep. Lovehoney giving me company shares. Another £25. AF arrives. Blame opks.

Cycle 4: babymakingvacation. Perfect timing. Tired but keep dtd. Fucking ridiculuos AF arrives regardless. Blame my age.

Cycle 5: I am not tempting anymore. It will happen eventually. Nobody knows when. A bit like death. But we want this to happen soon and death to happen the latest that is possible. Maybe when I am 100.

Ni4444 · 26/03/2016 09:52

Congrats Imp

I agree...was devastated I didn't get pregnant in month 1, furious at OH for not being up for dtd at times. This seems to have been the best month (cycle6!)...We've figured out he prefers every second day rather than every day pressure, I know my FW better so we agreed which days we were gonna dtd....and as scheduled as that sounds the sex was the best we've had in a while! I guess neither of us was feeling pressured by the other.

This is a bloody roller-coaster ride though....sending love to those of you who are on the down swing of it right now xxx

Confused I'm on cycle 8, been ttc since September but only joined this place 1 month ago. I know how frustrating it can be! At least two months were "perfect" ie, dtd lots and at the right time, and still not pregnant! We started ttc about 1 year before any of our friends. I worry that they'll start ttc, instantly get pregnant and have little families, and we'll still be stuck at the starting line!! It's tough when you want it so bad and all you can do is try not to loose your mind.

KatOnATinRo0f · 26/03/2016 11:28

Fishy in in the same boat as you exactly- 8 months TTC and no joy. Some friends were planing on starting TTC towards the summer/Autumn and I just know they will be pregnant before me!!

HepKestrel · 26/03/2016 14:38

So cd12 and still negative opk. Last month positive on cd11. Guess I still have learning to do on my cycle. Am assuming it is soon though so will try to DTD at least everyother day...

Kwick709 · 26/03/2016 15:40

CONGRATULATIONS Imp!!!!!!!! I am so pleased! You should know better though ... FRER are the way to go!!!!

So I think I joined the thread around Christmas time - previous to that I was just on one thread for those looking into Donor IUI - over Christmas I had a bit of a binge and started watching a "few" more threads... Yes it is true: I am a thread junkie. Blush

My BFP has come after 5 failed IUI cycles and one that I had to cancel as I was out of the country at critical ovulation point. I am very lucky to have got pregnant with first IVF cycle. This journey has been very hard (and still is as I am very afraid now of a MC) but without the support of you lot I know I would have gone even more cray-cray by now. I do have a few RL friends I share with too... but it is not the same - they are not TTC. As most of you know, I am footloose and fancy-free so I have no partner to get angry with either Envy, although it was very interesting (and daunting) picking out the magic potion Wink.

Kwick709 · 26/03/2016 15:45

Ever and Jem I love your learnings!!!

Not sure if I mentioned before - but I have some contraband left over - just PM me if you u would like me to send to you :)

Kathrino · 26/03/2016 16:44

Woohoo, Imp! I have been wondering how you were getting on and I'm so pleased to hear that you got your BFP!

Confused, I've taken a step back from the thread too as I was finding it quite hard. We're in month 5 now and haven't even had a hint of a BFP in that time. I definitely feel like I'm being left behind and more and more convinced that it's not going to happy for us anytime soon. I've been throwing myself into a new project at work which has helped a bit although it doesn't get any easier really.

KatOnATinRo0f · 26/03/2016 18:30

Congrats imp!!!!

Kwick how are you doing ??? All good with your little bean ?

KatOnATinRo0f · 26/03/2016 18:32

Kathrino it's not all joy for me either- I think the few of us that are still kicking around are all in the same boat.. The excitement and anticipation at the beginning has sort of slumped into a quiet glumness of "well... Why not me?" I feel like sticking around though, as I don't have people to talk to in RL about it all. Trying not to let too many people know we're TTC otherwise everyone will keep asking. A few people already do. And it's annoying!

Kwick709 · 26/03/2016 18:53

Sorry.... For those of you who do not understand the term "contraband" - I meant OPKs. I have a stash left over if anyone wants them just pm me.

kat I am good thanks except for lurgy: snottage and headache now. I think bean is okay - scan not for a few weeks but I had another progesterone test today and my levels are better - 3 fanjo gels, 3 bum-bum plugs and one mega injection a day later.... Probably will have to continue with this until week 10 BUT I do not mean to moan.... I am still in shock.

KatOnATinRo0f · 26/03/2016 19:10

Wow! You have really been through it all! No1 deserves it more than you do sweetie! Sorry you have the lurgy it's been going around I think :(
Now soon you will have to start thinking about nursery decoration and baby names! (At least you have no arguments about these things... The decision is all yours!!)

Kwick709 · 26/03/2016 19:19

Well, only with myself... I live in a one bedroom flat...plan is to stay here for a while more. Next 8 months will all be about decluttering!

iPatches · 26/03/2016 21:19

Kathrino - sorry to hear it's been hard for you. I have no advice other than keep going.

I'm CD18 and I think 6dpo, utterly symptomless and feeling fed up. To make matters worse I've had a bit of an upset stomach (not too bad, haven't puked but feeling gross) which means I haven't been able to enjoy the weekend time off with DH much today. Feeling loads better tonight though so hopefully we can have some quality time together. Nothing worse than feeling blergh when you're feeling blah.

SuchaJem · 26/03/2016 21:43

Hugs kathrino I hope you're not waiting too much longer

ipatches I know exactly what you mean - feeling ill on top of feeling low is shite. Hope you feel better xxx

ImpYCelyn · 26/03/2016 23:17

Thanks Kwick, Kat and Kathrino

And congratulations Kwick!! I am so happy for you! ThanksThanks

Mooseville · 26/03/2016 23:20

Get well soon ipatches

Let's all just hope it happens for us all soon.... But until then we're all here to moan and cry and stress at and discuss our crazy thoughts so we appear sane to everyone else and to celebrate the BFP's as each one takes us closer to the grads thread!!! Do you know I browse all kinds of threads on here, don't post on many, but I don't think I'd even browse our grads thread until I'm in it.... But now I've written that it seems really strange, as I'm actually really curious how everyone's getting on (after lurking on here for two months pre posting!) maybe I will take a look one day just to see!

vixarooni · 27/03/2016 10:54

I had a peak yesterday!! Not even sure why, curiosity got the better of me I think. Looks wonderfully happy and exciting though Smile

I started couch to 5k yesterday. So pleased with my efforts!

KatOnATinRo0f · 27/03/2016 13:18

I've also snuck over in the past to see what they are all up to!!

Also love the AIBU threads Grin

Very quiet on here this weekend... Hope everyone is enjoying lots of Easter chocolates!

SuchaJem · 27/03/2016 14:55

I clicked and had a nose once but felt instantly envious and sad and scuttled back here. I hope we're all joining them soon xx

Happy Easter weekending folks xx

Jamjar12 · 27/03/2016 15:06

Happy Easter all Easter Smile

Sucha, it's just a different type of complaining lol. Here we complain about AF and over there we complain about gas and earwax! Misery loves company :) Seriously, having contact with like minded ladies is worth all the Easter eggs in the world, no matter which leg of the race you're in!

Evergreen17 · 27/03/2016 15:21

Kat what are the AIBU threads?
I had lots of chocolates and maybe I will start couch to 5k again
It did wonders for my happiness last year Smile

KatOnATinRo0f · 27/03/2016 15:50

Jem yes me too I felt very left out!!

We never heard from lyssie was she pregnant after all??

Ever they are "am I being unreasonable" search AIBU and they will all come up, I'm not sure what category they are in. Some funny ones sometimes

Mooseville · 27/03/2016 15:56

AIBU is great! People are so opinionated and there's some cracking arguments!
I love the baby names threads too! No way woukd I be posting my name ideas in there though just to get them ripped to shreds! Lol

SuchaJem · 27/03/2016 16:39

jam yes indeed to the like minded pals :) what's with the ear wax?!

kat good news from lyssie she got a bfp
