No April Fools, just bfp's please! April BFP bus!!

I thought I may as well start up the April bus since af rudely kicked me off the February bus, and my dh isn't here for March!

Been ttc #4 since September last year. Tricky as dh works abroad so much! I think I'm due to ov on the 3rd of April and dh is home on the 1st, so fx we catch it! I'll be testing round about 17th April.

Anyone else ready to hop on board to keep me company? I have a large bag of mini eggs to share

No news here. Still no af. Not feeling like it's coming either. BUT not getting excited. I might do a test tomorrow. I really don't think I will get a bfp this time. I have only had one period since ds was born and fully expect it to take a while before my cycles become regular.

No I haven't done temping either. Somehow I always forget when I'm half asleep and by the time I remember I've already had a conversation with DS or snuggled up to DH so it seems like it wouldn't be very accurate. I need an automatic one :o

I do know though that a friend who was temping knew she was PG before a test would show it up because she was temping and her temp stayed up at the point it should be falling. If that's useful info for any of you.

I'm not temping either as I have epilepsy and it can be inaccurate due to mild seizures.

I have my trusty(ish) OPK sticks and need to get out of the slight rut DH and I have got into where we're always tired! Next ovulating April 27?so I hope we're in a routine by then!

Poas and it's bfn. Not surprised, so assume I just wait til me next af shows up and see what my cycles do. It's a bit disheartening as I can't really get going til I know what's what.

I am 7dpo and twiddling my thumbs. I had some weird stabbing pains 'down below' yesterday ... Probably wind! And that's all. No interesting symptoms to agonise over.

I think I'm 6 or 9 dpo now. Only 8 days left to test! I don't feel pregnant this time but it's still fun to speculate. Have been having some stretching feelings in the womb area but that's not very unusual for me.

Sorry to hear that Notta but it sounds like you have a healthy attitude to things. Hope your cycles soon settle so you know what's what.

I'm into "trying not to POAS" territory now at 9/10 dpo. My gut feeling is I will get a BFN this time but it is still hard to resist somehow. On the positive side I think temping this cycle has been useful for me because it indicates that I ovulated, which has reassured me.

I had a good chat with a friend who is also ttc#1, which made me feel heaps better as pretty much everyone I know already has kids so I feel slightly left behind sometimes.

Yes! I've been on that page too. And I like that you can put your own symptoms in and compare them to yourself. :)

I'm out this month. Af got me but on the plus side my cycle is much more normal now at 32 days vs previous 15 days.

Erm. Not so random question. How long would an evap line appear on a test after. Would any line after half an hour be an evap?

I think you're supposed to discount any line after 10 mins. Is it pink? Where is the test from? I read on another thread that Superdrug ones are bad for them.

Yes it's Superdrug. Just happened to glance at it half an hour after testing and noticed it. Wasn't there in first three mins

Hang on I read something about evaporation lines today.

That happened to me Tabitha, I did a cheapo boots dipstick. Nothing after three minutes, medium looking line (as in not feint) a while later. I don't really understand the whole evap line thing but assumed that's what it was.

I think it can only be pink if the right hormone is present. There was a great post on here once about the notorious evap. I'd say it looks very promising - test again tomorrow!
