Hi all,

I joined the relaxed March/April thread but realised it was probably over optimistic to focus on a specific month!

Stats: Inspector, 35, TTC #1, Cycle 1, CD 12 although it is my first month off the pill after 17 years so it's probably not a typical CD12. Absolutely no idea what my body is going to do now it's flying solo :-/

We've not had the easiest start to TTC. As life would have it I've had to come back home this week because of a serious family illness so I've been away from DP and pretty stressed out and upset for the last few days. Things are thankfully looking a bit better now but I won't get home until tomorrow which, if (big if!) my cycle is a normal one should probably be the best day to have sex.

We shall see what happens but I am definitely not getting into temping/OPKs/early testing for a while yet!

Ending cycle number 3 due to test end extra weekend, hopefully after won't show.
Also bought pre-seed and forgot I had it.
After clinging on to every little twinge, feeling, smell etc.. last month I'm trying (probably failing) to keep a lid on the madness this month.

jem we usually dtd every other day anyway, so I'm just planning in keeping that up if possible! If not, I'm not going to get upset about it. With dh training so much his sperm won't be optimum anyway for the next few months. So I'm not putting the pressure on myself now! Still taking folic acid and having a multi vitamin but the supplements he takes probably won't do us any favours. So I'm not stressing.

Although I saw ndn earlier with her lovely little bump and will admit I teared up briefly.

6 dpo but don't have very high hopes for this month at all following the whole only DTD once saga!
Just off pill after 15 yrs, ovulation seemed to happen bang on time judging by OPK and CM so waiting to see if AF is also on time or if my cycles are messed up!

Had a lovely day at the Discover childhood centre in Stratford and build a bear with DP's neice. Just about to bake pink princess fairy cakes to keep her occupied while DP watches the rugby. This babysitting malarkey is easy peasy! Bloody tiring though though!!

elle I wish I was! That's some alliteration I can get on board with!

jam I know, just going to see how it goes tbh. I've lost the will to be vigilant about it all atm! And it's not exciting, so I'm hoping injecting the "unknown" back in will bring some of the hopefulness back. I don't want it to feel like such a slog anymore!

AF due Monday no sign yet. No symptoms either so recon am out this month.
SIlL had a baby girl this week. Unfortunately they live very far away so no chance to cwtch. Although an v happy for them would love to have skittle baby.

Got BFP last week, now 5+2 and obsession and worry about Ttc has shifted seamlessly to worry about things going wrong with pregnancy and googling miscarriage stats 🙈

Oh holy god at a party with lots of uni friends and just been baby bombed by a uni friend. Close friend struggling.com. Still no AF for me but could be Monday before it happens struggling to hold it together. DH not here! Thank god for you guys.

I've been lurking recently due to work craziness and trying not to think about TTC too much. There is zero chance of a BFP this cycle (#3) and it's quite nice to have a break from the frantic symptom spotting of the last couple of months. Bring on the April bus!
