I really have no idea what it is. It could be progesterone, implantation or af. Apparently it's perfect timing for implantation but I really don't think I would be that lucky. It's impossible to tell. It's stopped for a little bit now. I will soon know tomorrow as sometimes my af starts with a bit of spotting the night before and then is full flow by the morning! Yikes.

Lucie - I was thinking implantation. Keeping everything crossed for you, maybe the immunes are doing the trick!
I'm sure it could also be progesterone irritation, I'm very sore down there although no bleeding. Did have to stop did last night because it felt like there was glass up there.... I can only imagine that's small cuts or something similar. Xx

lucieloos · 21/03/2016 20:51

Thanks Sammy I don't feel sore or anything down there at all but I know sometimes the pessaries can irritate the cervix. I will check again before bed x

It would be odd if it was AF this early bearing in mind it was 15 dpo before Lucie. I didn't realise you could get bleeding from the progesterone.

MPP81 · 21/03/2016 20:52

Lucie, you never know, and in theory that could explain the earlier bfn. Keeping everything crossed for you.

star1980 · 21/03/2016 20:53

Oh Lucie, hugs to you. I'm afraid I have no advice as I've never taken progesterone but from what I've read it seems unlikely. You don't usually have a short luteal phase do you? It would be odd to be on progesterone and it get shorter. I don't want to say this i will anyway but don't respond to it but maybe it's implantation.

Whatever it is, you can definitely handle it. FlowersFlowers

loopylou1984 · 21/03/2016 20:53

I don't feel sore just sitting here, only when DH tried to.... Well you know!

Fx it is implantation bleeding! Week! Xx

loopylou1984 · 21/03/2016 20:53

*eeeek

star1980 · 21/03/2016 20:56

Oh, and welcome chocolate!

JustTrixie · 21/03/2016 21:15

Keeping everything crossed here too Lucie!

lucieloos · 21/03/2016 22:14

loopylou1984 · 22/03/2016 07:11

Any news today Lucie? Xx

JustTrixie · 22/03/2016 07:23

More love for our lovely group Smile
Definitely not Sammy, I'm not going anywhere until we all have our BFPs.
One of the first things I thought when I woke up this morning was - I must check the thread and see if there's an update from Lucie.

MPP81 · 22/03/2016 07:45

Thinking of you this morning, and awaiting your update, Lucie!

Banana, I meant to say yesterday, thanks for the info about norethisterone! I think i may well take it then, as it's certainly preferable to AF on honeymoon!

I love this group too, and certainly not going anywhere til I see everyone with their bfp!

lucieloos · 22/03/2016 08:04

Aww you guys are amazing! We have to all stay until we all get our bfps!

I didn't have anymore spotting last night but I have been awake most of the night with af type cramps. Not just little was that a cramp type things but proper af is going to be here any second type cramps. I kept thinking to myself this isn't going to end well. They've eased slightly now and no spotting yet this morning but af can often arrive like this for me and start with a little spotting the day before then stop then bam at some point the following day there she is in full flow so I'm not feeling too hopeful but I guess only time will tell. I can't believe that I've had over a week off work and this has to happen the day I go back!

MPP, I took northisterone to delay af before one of my IVF cycles. It was fine, no side effects and af arrived 5 days after stopping so could be a good option for you.

Star, so sorry about the baby shower. It must have been awful. I went to a hen party once when I was mid IVF and all everybody did was sit around and talk about their kids. I was almost in tears at one point. Luckily I had told one of my best friends about our treatment and she changed the subject for me. I couldn't imagine going to a baby shower at this point I think I would have to politely decline.

Sammy, sorry you had a bad day in work. Hope it's a bit better today. It's such a stressful time its understandable that you broke down. Your manager is right though more often than not it doesn't happen first time around but we will all get there.

OP posts:
bananafish81 · 22/03/2016 08:05

Well I ain't going anywhere, you didn't get rid of me this time and no chance of anything happening any time soon. So you're stuck with me!

BorisIsBack · 22/03/2016 08:22

Lucie if it's any comfort I generally have that 'AF is coming' feeling most days, some days more than others. Fingers firmly still crossed for you.

stealthbanana · 22/03/2016 09:16

Fx lucie! Sending massively enormous good vibes your way.

star definitely sympathies re the baby shower. You have my sympathies. I think baby showers are effing boring at the best of times, I tend to decline them all anyway as sitting around eating cake and guessing how round someone's bump is isn't my idea of a good time. No way would I go to one now I'm going through IVF! Luckily my friends who are sprogging later seem to be a bit more normal and generally haven't had baby showers, so not many invites these days.

star1980 · 22/03/2016 13:02

Oh Lucie, that sounds like a rough night. Hope it all turns out OK. Good luck!

Banana, I read your update on the mindnumbing boredom of infertility board. Crikey, that sounds so rough. So sorry you've been through such rotten times. Flowers
Also spent far too much time last night reading that thread and was gobsmacked at your troll! Well done on seeing her off so sharply.

Yeah, my friends don't really have baby showers but a couple have had "meeting up with my girls before the baby comes" lunches. Aka "baby shower". I umm'd and ahh'd but ultimately I am so pleased for this friend as I sensed she's been trying for years. She's been married 5 years and quit her city job a few years ago to move out of London etc... Someone hinted at it too, but I definitely wouldn't ask (just wildly speculate in the way I worry people do about me). Anyway, will definitely decline next time. i wasn't too sad actually, but it was just boring nodding and pretending to be fascinated by everyone's never-ending stories.Hmm

lucieloos · 22/03/2016 15:10

Knicker watch update! I had a tiny bit more spotting at around 10am this morning but that's been it so far. I still have mild cramps now and again and have that bloated full feeling like before af appears so who knows what's going on in there!!

OP posts:
JustTrixie · 22/03/2016 15:16

Everything crossed that it is implantation Lucie - reassuring what Boris says about the 'AF is coming' feeling. Do you remember having anything like this on your first cycle?

lucieloos · 22/03/2016 15:23

No I don't remember anything like this and definitely no spotting. All I remember is feeling absolutely awful and like a zombie whereas this time I have felt really good throughout apart from the normal cramps, the odd headache etc.
