New thread ready for us chatty ladies! If you have been trying to conceive for over 10 months pop in and join us. We are a friendly bunch!

Hey im here they were running really late. Not looking great really but I expected that. The left side hasn't responded at all. Well there were 3 follicles but tiny. There are 5 on the right which have grown quite fast. 2 are at 18mm and one at 16mm then the other 2 a bit behind at 12mm so not sure if they will catch up or not. They've brought my egg collection forward to this Friday! Such a shame the left side hasn't responded though as even if there were one or two decent ones it wouldn't have been so bad. Anyway no point getting stressed will just see what happens. So I'm triggering tomorrow!

Ah Lucie appreciate it wasn't what you are hoping for, but as I remember you seem to have spectacular egg quality and have got at least one blast out of every egg collection? So whether that's inside you because you pop back at day 3 or in a dish if you leave till day 5, there is every hope that there may be a baby amongst that crop

Also anything that was 14-15mm the day before trigger ended up yielding a mature egg for me. So sounds like at 12mm today there is def time to hopefully catch up xx

Lucie, such a shame your left hand dude didn't respond. But as banana said you seem to do really well with just a few eggs so try not to be disappointed. You have some lovely sounding folicles there that should hopefully gove you a small but perfectly formed set of eggs.

It really is all happening this week! FX for Friday Lucie. What are you going to do about the progesterone test? Interesting to hear about what Dr. Sher said re OPKs.

Thanks Banana, this is the day before trigger though so doesn't look like much hope for the 12mm ones. I'm ok about it though we all have our issues and mine is follicle numbers. As you say I have always managed 1-2 blasts from each cycle before but who knows what will happen this time. I refuse to stress though as I've had enough of it. We are lucky to have this free go and it is what it is. If it doesn't work then I will continue with my plans in Czech and I still have another NHS round I'm entitled to so not all bad.

Trixie, I haven't had chance to think about the progesterone test yet/ I've only just got into work really late. Had to make up some dodgy excuse! I now need to try and work out how to rearrange my leave to have Friday off and also rearrange acupuncture appointments! If I want to do the progesterone test it will have to be tomorrow morning now. My opks have come back negative so far up until yesterday. Will see what it's like tonight xx

Boris, how are you today lovely? Did you hear whether they were able to freeze anymore?

No news today lucie. I'll email them later if I haven't heard. I've been checking messages approximately every 2.5 seconds.

You should have rung the embryo line at 12 Boris. I think they will be closed now unfortunately. Give them a call tomorrow.

So I'm on my way home from Spain. EC tomorrow morning. Eeek! Any last minute tips for a first timer? Am assuming comfy clothing is a must. And obv no food or drinks from midnight on. Other than that it all seems v straight forward?

Stealth - your own sanitary towel. You may well have a bit of bleeding afterwards and the ones they give you are ginormous!!!

Yep what Sammy said. The towel they give you is like a mattress!

I took my kindle for waiting around time - although second time because we brought the sample in from home there was no hanging around while he went to the 'chaps' room'

Hot water bottle or wheat bag when you're at home is good for tender ovaries

Will do lucie. And will stock up on a jumbo pad. Don't think I've bought one of those since I was about 15! (Well technically ever - pretty sure my mum bought them for me at that age.)

Am so excited to have these eggs gone. Can now no longer even pee without pain. It's time to go, follies!

I have a ridiculously short torso sammy which I'm sure is not helping - not much room for organs. Pregnancy is going to be a blast

The staff there are great, you know you're in excellent hands with our lovely Dr, and you've got lots of fabulous eggs waiting for a hot date with DH's finest swimmers.
