sammy the nurse at my clinic advised me to use the back before transfer to make it cleaner for the catheter - I obv forgot about this but remembered the day before ET which I'm sure was fine. Up the bum no harm done, as the saying goes

She said thereafter 'you can pop them up the front or the back, they work equally well. Why not swap around to mix it up??!!!'

I personally opt for the front. And now that Always have stopped making non scented pantliners my knickers smell like a glade plug in

I use the front entrance sammy, seems easier... Though I like bananas answer better for entertainment.

At the airport, hire car safely dropped off. And relax

Boris - did you use the front even today on transfer day?
I'm very reluctant to put anything in my bum, but like banana says surely it's more difficult for transfer of there's.... Er..... Gunk up there??

Gah, might do as banana said and use the front until Thursday morning.

Yes I did but I was able to take them 8 hours before. Also I figured they'd prescribed them.... Their problem. Transfer was quick and easy so they weren't a problem.

I'll only be able to do it a maximum of four hours before, #sigh# I guess I'll have to use the back. Xx

I did it a couple hours before transfer Sammy. My transfer was really easy too and they didn't mention anything so don't think it was a problem x

They give everything a quick clean and wipe down before the catheter goes in anyway, so I'm sure it's fine. If it were really important they would make a bigger deal out of telling people! As it was just a throwaway comment I didn't think it was likely to be mission critical xx

So I have triggered! Had to do it in a taxi on the way to my hotel (am in Spain for a work trip). Think the taxi driver was a bit bemused! But job done.

Yay stealth, well done! I burst in to tears when I did my first trigger shot so that would have really confused the taxi driver! Lol.

Think I'm going to email the clinic and see what they suggest re the prog. The things we go through huh?! X

One day I'll tell you all about my trigger shot, it's still to dark a memory to talk about - DH and I both sobbed surrounded by blood broken glass and syringes. Anyhow congrats stealth - the count down begins. Xx

Sammy I used the front entrance first cycle but had a lot of residue so switched to back for my second but by the end it was a bit sore so I plan to mix it up a bit this time.
