Exactly Lucie! Maybe I'm being a bit dim but why would it make a difference whether it's an FET or a fresh transfer? Sure it will all be ok Smile

Was just reading back re scans/transfers happening this week and realise I missed your post before about putting all your eggs in one basket Boris!

lucieloos · 06/03/2016 20:12

Well it's just I told them I was having a fet when I went in for my intralipids as that's what it said on the letter from my clinic. Also a lot of the nurses and some doctors at the private clinic have come from the NHS clinic that I'm now with. I feel a bit uneasy telling them I'm now having NHS treatment when they know how many private treatments I've had and that technically I wouldn't be eligible for NHS treatment. I'm sure they wouldn't say anything but I expect they are still quite friendly with the people still working in the NHS clinic as there aren't many other fertility clinics at all in this area so everyone probably knows everyone. I know I'm probably overthinking it I just don't want anything to go wrong.

Oh my word, I'm way behind!

Fabulous news Boris! Hope all goes well tomorrow!

Lucie, I'm sure they wouldn't say anything, but I can understand why you're worrying. I'm sure it will be OK. Thinking of you :)

Hope everyone else is doing well! Have read through the thread while on my phone in bed, but have a memory like a sieve and can't remember half the stuff I was going to say!

lucieloos · 07/03/2016 07:03

Hi MPP, hope all is well with you.

Boris, good luck for your transfer today, so excited for you. Let us know how it went as soon as you can eeekk!

I think it's easy to worry about every little thing Lucie, I certainly do. Remember that the nurses will be seeing lots of women everyday and if its just a quick blood test I'm sure they don't give it much thought. And if they say anything to anyone outside the clinic then it's a breach of confidentiality.

Good luck Boris, you'll be PUPO soon!

bananafish81 · 07/03/2016 08:55

Good luck today Boris!

loopylou1984 · 07/03/2016 09:26

Good luck Boris! Xx

lucieloos · 07/03/2016 09:37

Ok thanks Trixie, you have put my mind at rest a little and I've rung and booked the test for first thing Friday morning as I just want to know one way or another. Another interesting point which I asked Dr Sher about is that opks can still be used whilst on IVF meds and if it turns positive before trigger it's not good as indicates premature lutenisation which is what starts the progesterone to rise. I did one last night and there was only a very faint line so I hope it stays that way. I'm going to be monitoring it all the time now lol.

stealthbanana · 07/03/2016 12:03

lucie wouldn't worry about it - as someone else said, nurses have better things to do with their time!

boris good luck for today!

Afm, I had my final scan today. Have 8 follies at 22-23mm and loads behind. Triggering tonight and EC Wednesday. Feeling extremely uncomfortable and sore so can't wait to have them out of me!

lucieloos · 07/03/2016 12:07

Wow well done stealth sounds like there will be another very good haul there!

star1980 · 07/03/2016 14:26

Wow, it's all go this week!
Best of luck for et today Boris and hope you've managed to make a decision on the number to transfer. Sounds like a minefield, but ultimately the choice is yours and your DH in view of all the facts.
Wow stealth, that sounds v positive. All the best for egg collection on Wed.
Sammy, when is your transfer? Did you say Thursday? Hope you're feeling good and ready!
And Lucie, good luck with your scans this week and blood test Friday. Hope there isn't an issue with your LH rising too early? What's the plan if it does?
Hi everyone else, hope you're all plodding along quite happily Smile

lucieloos · 07/03/2016 15:20

Thanks Star. I hope there isn't an issue too but we will see. If the LH does rise too much then they recommend freezing the embryos and doing a frozen transfer. I'm not sure what the NHS will make of this but will see what happens first.

So much going on this week! So we have..

Monday - Boris transfer
Tuesday Lucieloos Scan
Wednesday - Stealth Egg collection
Thursday - Sammy Transfer & Lucieloo scan!

Next week will be pregnancy testing, egg collection and transfers! Eeek!

Stealth that's exciting.

So we had two good quality blasts one tranafered and one for the freezer. 2 other blasts were just average. All the embryos survived but many are not past compact moruala stage. They'll leave the rest till tomorrow to make sure none develop further.

star1980 · 07/03/2016 16:00

Wow, that's a lot of activity! And there's Trixie, mpp and me cheering on from the sidelines. And banana too, but with something that marks you out as a grad!
Best of luck to everyone undergoing treatment - hope you're all keeping it together and keeping us updated when you can!

bananafish81 · 07/03/2016 16:05

What a week ladies!!

Boris congrats on being PUPO - hoping your 2ww flies by

Well the thread title does say it's the one where we all get out BFPs - this week feels like a bloody good stepping stone! Thanks

Hugs to all xx

lucieloos · 07/03/2016 16:09

Boris, that's great news about your 2 good blasts. I have been checking for news all day. You never know some of those compacted morulas may also make it to freezing tomorrow. I had a CM on day 5 which was a good quality expanded blast by day 6 just a little slow. Congrats on being pupo and have a safe journey home.

OP posts:
star1980 · 07/03/2016 16:24

Eek, Boris exciting! Are you hoping for more for the freezer? That sounds a great result - have a safe journey home and all the best for a speedy tww x

lucieloos · 07/03/2016 16:29

Were the average blasts able to be frozen as well today Boris?

OP posts:
star1980 · 07/03/2016 16:36

Oh I never said congrats to you banana, sorry - the news of your scan and seeing a heartbeat this weekend sounded wonderful! Very many congratulations :)

BorisIsBack · 07/03/2016 16:59

Lucie they said the average blasts werent frezae today. Might be tomorrow. So we will see. Id like a couple more to freeze if at all possible.

BorisIsBack · 07/03/2016 17:02

**Freeze-able

lucieloos · 07/03/2016 17:03

Fingers crossed for tomorrow then Boris hopefully you will get a couple more. Just relax now though you have one very good little embie on board and that's all you need.

OP posts:
MPP81 · 07/03/2016 17:27

Brilliant news Boris! Congratulations on being PUPO! Have a good flight home :)

loopylou1984 · 07/03/2016 17:55

Yay Boris! Congrats on having your blast onboard. Fx for the others, we too had one that took 6 days to reach blast, but was then good enough for freezing.

I hate progesterone pessaries. They are gross. TMI question but for those of you using/that have used them where did you put them? Front or back if you see what I mean Blush

loopylou1984 · 07/03/2016 17:57

Yes transfer is Thursday for me.
An exciting/nerve wracking few weeks for the thread. Xx
