Checked the opk again and it's darker than yesterday! Hoping for a positive tomorrow. Maybe the spotting I had at the end of AF delayed ov.

loopylou1984 · 30/04/2016 15:56

Popping on to say congratulations to Magpie Smile Xx

Sodasoda · 30/04/2016 19:53

Just checking in to say hello and see there's some fantastic news from magpie - HUGE congratulations! Amazing! Hope you have a very boring pregnancy Grin

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 01/05/2016 01:37

Eeek Magpie!!! Fabulous news - I'm so happy for you!! And such a lovely romantic way to tell your DH Grin. How did you get on with the frer?

DizzyN your house sounds perfect! I hope you'll be able to move in soon..

Hope you get a positive opk today DizzyM

Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend!

MagpieCursedTea · 01/05/2016 06:28

Thanks everyone! I got a positive on FRER yesterday afternoon and on a digi today, the nausea I've been having has become a lot worse too. So I'm feeling rubbish but I'm (cautiously) very happy about it. I'm still having cramping which makes me a bit nervous as I'm sure I didn't get it with DS (and I wasn't this sick yet either) but Dr Google has told me it can happen.
Thank you all so much for all your support of the last few months, you've kept me sane(ish). I'll be hanging around to watch you all get your BFPs xxx

DizzyM I hope that OPK becomes positive today!

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 01/05/2016 07:35

Such excellent news Magpie....I hope you start feeling better soon, and I've definitely read on here that people can have cramping so try not to worry (easy to say!) I'm definitely going to beg the doctor for metformin :)

Sodasoda · 01/05/2016 09:18

Just chipping in to say I had far worse AF cramps than usual when I got my bfp - they continued fairly constantly until about 6 weeks in. It'll just be your little bean snuggling in tight magpie Smile

Hello and waves to everyone on here. I'm doing well - am now 20 weeks! Still keep checking back and am cheering you on xx

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 01/05/2016 23:51

Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend, and that AF has stayed away Kellz and Rainy

DizzyM I hope you managed to get a positive opk!

Magpie Hope the news is starting to sink in! When is your edd?

CD14 for me - just waiting for the weeks to while away...zzzzz...

Kellz92 · 02/05/2016 00:30

I was away this weekend and AF arrived yesterday, few days early cd1 done, moped about it too lol

MagpieCursedTea · 02/05/2016 06:42

Soda 20 weeks already! I'm sure that's gone a lot slower for you though! Thanks for the reassurance about the cramps.

Kellz sorry for AF! Hope you had a good weekend away.

Genghis does that mean you're heading towards ov? Is your DP around at the moment so you can get DTD?
My EDD by LMP is Christmas Day but I ov'd really late so it's more like 7th January.
Got myself into a bit of a state this morning as the FRER was fainter than the one I did a couple of days ago. I know I should step away from the tests but I can't shake the feeling that something is going to go wrong. It's hard to tell the difference between paranoia and instinct!

Hope everyone is having a good bank holiday!

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 02/05/2016 10:07

I'm sorry about AF Kellz. I hope you're okay xx

A Christmas baby - how lovely (I love that time of year!) Sorry about all the stress though Magpie - don't forget it could be due to the time of poas, how much you'd had to drink etc. A big hug though, and to be sure, I have all my hopes in the paranoia camp for you x

Rainy34 · 02/05/2016 13:28

magpie try not panic, just take each day as it comes and hope for a sticky bean!!

Af got me in the middle of the night, dosed up on paracetamol and a heat pad,, feet up and eating rubbish!!

DizzyMerry · 02/05/2016 17:32

Ghengis I got a positive opk yesterday but we couldn't dtd as we had family over unexpectedly and it was past midnight when they left leaving me shattered and I fell asleep before DH came upstairs after clearing up. We've only managed it three times this cycle but I'm not stressing over it now and what will be will be. How are you doing?

Sorry for AF rainy and kellz Flowers

Magpie fx for a super sticky bean. The cramping will be from your little bean snuggling in.

Kellz92 · 02/05/2016 19:21

Magpie the weekend was good until af arrived. Was in agony and throwing up with her yesterday morning. CD2 and she's already calming down. Another short cycle

Genghis thanks, I'm struggling that's cycle 11. Got gets his results this week hopefully.

DizzyM thank you

Xx

BorisIsBack · 02/05/2016 19:42

Sorry for Af kellz and rainy. Flowers

Magpie - ref the pee sticks. They dont reliably get darker. The darkness of the line is affected by the time of day and how much liquid you've consumed amongst other things. It's normal to be anxious but don't add to your anxiety by peeing on too many sticks. .

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 03/05/2016 01:33

Sorry about AF Rainy Flowers The one plus is feeling justified in eating crap, so I hope you enjoyed it!

Kellz Good luck with your DP's results, and sorry that you're struggling. It's just so hard when it's all you want, and always there in your mind. Will you go to the doctor after a year?

Magpie Hope all is well and the cramps have subsided..

Hi Boris, hope you and MiniBoris are well?

DizzyM I'm impressed by your zen reaction, as you say, there's no point getting het up. FX your dtd was well timed anyway.

All is fine here. DP is away again during ov...sigh. I think we will also miss next ov but hopefully can do IUI in June. I have been really upset and emotional the last few weeks about timing, travel, DP's apathy, success rates (I even got in touch with Dr Sher ) but we had a good talk before he left, and am feeling much better and more positive. Long may this last Grin!

MagpieCursedTea · 03/05/2016 07:13

Rainy so sorry for AF. Enjoy your heat pad and junk food!

Boris I'm weaning myself off them, I'm down to one pee stick a day and I've only got 2 left (plus a digi). I'm like an addict though!

Genghis I'm feeling a bit calmer today, thanks! Sorry for the difficulties you're having with timing, it sounds stressful. I'm glad you're feeling more positive now though!

Kellz92 · 03/05/2016 13:01

Thanks Boris

Genghis Probably will go soon. Need to see why when nothing has chnaged from when i had DD, well that im aware of.

Well AF has finished already, thats 2 cycles that she has been 2 days instead of 6. and its still like blood mixed with ewcm, and no where near as heavy however the pain is horrendous that im getting for first few hours!!

Whats going on with me ahhhh!!

DizzyNorthernBird · 04/05/2016 08:30

Howdy!

soda lovely to 'see' you, can't believe that's 20 weeks done already! Hope you're enjoying your pregnancy.

magpie how are you feeling? Are you believing it yet?!

kellz sorry for af again, remind me whether you've spoken to your GP? You shouldn't be getting that level of pain.

genghis that's good you've talked things through with your DP. It really does help. I get apathy from my DP too, I've worked out I just need to catch him at the right moment to get more out of him. Who is DR Sher?

dizzym did you manage to get more bd'ing in? Fx for you this month.

rainy sorry for af Flowers

Sorry to anyone I've missed. No news from me. Af disappeared over the weekend. I'm temping again now but not being consistent with timings, I'm not sure whether my battery has run flat but I've had the same temp for four out of the past five days! I'm only cd8 so I've got an age to wait for my fertile window. Hmpf.

MagpieCursedTea · 04/05/2016 08:41

DizzyN it's starting to sink in but it's so nerve wracking! Hope you ov in decent time this cycle. How long until your next appointment now?

Kellz have you tested? If that doesn't give you answers then maybe have a chat with your GP.

Hope everyone is having a good week!

DizzyNorthernBird · 04/05/2016 13:28

I've got an appointment on Monday but I'm not sure if I can go yet because of work, I'm hoping I can change my shift otherwise if I rebook it that'll be another 3 week wait at the very least.

Kellz92 · 04/05/2016 13:44

DizzyN I havent seen the GP yet been trying to get an appt

Magpie i keep testing, i know a girl who had this and got bloods taken and she was 17 weeks gone, going to see the GP

xx

DizzyMerry · 04/05/2016 14:16

Dizzy we dtd twice on Monday. It was bank holiday and we were both off. Don't think we've done enough this cycle but as I got a positive opk on Sunday I felt the pressure was off and we really enjoyed it. Maybe it's time to ditch the opks and take the 'relaxed' approach! Hope ov doesn't keep you waiting too long and fx you can work around your appointment.

Ghengis glad you're feeling positive after your chat with DP. June feels like an age away but it's only around the corner and hopefully you can get things moving then. I'm sure I've read about Dr Sher on here but can't recall anything about him! You'll have to fill us in.

Kellz I don't have any advice but I would also say speak to your GP about your concerns.

Magpie hope you're doing well.

I contacted Reprofit yesterday for info about how it all works with IVF over there. Got a very informative email back today. Need to speak to DH and set a time limit on how long we continue ttc naturally before we try IVF. It's all very daunting and I'm actually very scared of IVF!

BorisIsBack · 04/05/2016 14:55

DizzyM if you go down the reprofit avenue pop over to the tTC for 10 months plus thread there are a couple of ladies there who are about to cycle with them. I used reprofit and thought they were great- happy to try to answer any questions you have.

OP posts:
DizzyMerry · 04/05/2016 15:40

Thanks boris. I'll be needing all the support I can get if we go down that route as I know nothing about IVF. Just need to speak to DH and agree on time frames. How did you feel about having IVF abroad? Did you feel well supported throughout? It seems the best option for us to have it abroad but I'm just worried about something going wrong and not having any med professional close by to help. Did you have all your fertility tests here beforehand?
