Sorry to read about the temp. drop Magpie If AF does turn up, it's still a good sign that your body ovulated so is doing things. Have you received an appointment date yet? And thanks for the ZW acupuncture tip (though none here either - surprise!)

DizzyM That sounds lovely! I will look into it as even if it doesn't help me conceive, I'd love a great night's sleep like you described!

How's this for an in yer face - last night I received an email with 6 scan pictures (12w scan). Then, because I clearly didn't respond quick enough, I also received them on whatsapp. In close family member's defence they don't know about my fertility woes though I'd still like to think that if I was in their place, I might have some more tact. After feeling that horrible sinking/kick in the stomach feeling, I just had to laugh at it.

DizzyM I know that feeling, one of my favourite things about acupuncture is how relaxed I feel afterwards. I think that alone has to be helpful!

DizzyN sorry to hear of the brown cm, I know that's your normal start of AF but still hope it stays away! In case it doesn't, what's your plan for the next cycle? Returning to temping or sticking with the more relaxed approach?

Genghis no appointment date yet. I was meant to have my scan this month then the appointment next month but I don't think that's happening. I asked them about it a couple of weeks ago and they said to phone next month if I hadn't heard anything yet.
As if someone sent SIX scan pictures, that's a bit much! At least you could laugh at it, it's still a difficult thing to deal with though.

No change for me. My temp was exactly the same, dead on the cover line. Still cramps but no bleeding. I did a test just in case and bfn. I'm 10DPO and starting to doubt whether I ovulated at all. Feeling a bit sorry for myself!

Af has just started and I can feel cramps coming on. I must have ovulated earlier than thought. I'm a bit surprised because although I saw some brown cm yesterday it was a teeny tiny amount, nothing like I'd usually get. I have no idea what my body is doing any more. That bleed would have been on 8dpo by my new stats. Odd.

magpie I'm sure you did ovulate, don't worry too much. Can we see what your chart looks like now? I'm going to temp again next month, have already put it out on my bedside table ready for the morning!

genghis I'm ok. I can't really be sad because we weren't even trying this month. Still feeling exasperated I suppose though.
I agree, 6 photos is totally unnecessary! Like you would have been confused if you'd only received one?! Obviously they're excited though so we won't hold it against them!

dizzym glad to hear you're enjoying your acu sessions. How weird is it that a few of us got random spotting this cycle?

Maybe our cycles have gone as crazy as this weather (though mine is always this weird).

This is my chart zoomed to the later part of my cycle. The random 3 day dip is confusing too. The only other chart I have that shows ovulation (other than the pregnancy one) I got AF at 9DPO, which is another reason I'm starting to doubt ovulation. Still getting cramps though!

How confusing magpie. As a rule I would say that chart means you've ovulated, but the 3 day dip is odd. Although some would say that the actual temps don't matter, that as long as the trend is increased temps then ov has occurred. It would be interesting to see if I would have had a temp dip around when I had that bleed. Unfortunately for both of us the nature of pcos means whacky hormones which are reflected in our charts as well as our symptoms. It's bloody tough isn't it

Thanks everyone appt was this morning. He's now worrying he's the issue but I honestly don't think it is. I'd like af not to arrive on Monday but I have no idea.
Skins broken out and usually that happens on CD1 so no idea.

Missed out on more posts so will go read back. I will be on more as work has calmed down a bit and Keira is sleeping again thanks to preschool xx

What is going on with our bodies this cycle? We've had some random goings on with temps/spotting! My opk was slight dark yesterday and I assumed I'd get a positive today but today's has been lighter and I have felt twinges so not sure whether I have ov'd today or whether I've missed it or just that my body has decided not to ov this cycle! Right now I hate ttc with a passion! My only saving grace is we dtd on cd9 and today at cd11.

Kellz at least it's over and done with now and as rainy says it's a step closer to getting your bfp.

How are you getting on Hun? Seen AF is due Sunday? I'm due Monday. Had a few cycles off of tracking but I'm going to start again with my apps and temps and get cheapie opks

Thanks DizzyM how are you getting on? That's what puts me off opks I never get exact same colour of line even though the monitor gives me peaks!! Maybe I'm not ovulating but I get the twinges too.

Ha, I'm with you with hating TTC DizzyM - why can't it just be straightforward? It sounds like you've covered your bases if you have ov-ed though, so that's good news. What was your opk like today?

Glad I have agreement with the photo overload - though I actually made a mistake - it was 5 scan pics and 1 of the folder the photos came in . I have a feeling this will be a long pregnancy for me as well

Genghis five is still excessive! Have you had a look at the fertility friend app/website? They do a free course on charting that I found really helpful when I started temping. Maybe I should retake it, it's been a few years since I did it!

Kellz I hope AF stays away for you and that your DH's results are good! I know what you mean about TTC when you've already got DC. Sometimes I feel like I should be happy with just DS but the urge for another baby is very strong. I really didn't think I'd find TTC as difficult this time around (both emotionally and in the amount of time it's taking) but I'm still struggling plus I feel bad about it.

DizzyM that does sound confusing! Maybe your body is just gearing up for ov but not quite there yet? Keep DTD just in case!

DizzyN PCOS is utterly shit. I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

My temp is back up a bit today. I tested again and got another bfn. When pregnant with DS I tested positive on 11DPO which is supposedly today. I really just want AF now as some kind of sign that my body isn't completely messing with me.

Ghengis that's still a lot! One would have been sufficient. My opk is darker today so I'm hoping for a positive either tomorrow or the day after. I don't understand how the other one was darker but maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me. I usually keep em for a day to compare but I there that one away as soon as I saw the line!

Magpie sorry about the bfn but it's a good sign your temp is back up. You're not out yet so it is still possible.

I managed to take my temp today, although it's quite late on in my cycle but if I haven't ovulated yet then it may just help by confirming ov.

I had an awesome acupuncture session. She wants to get my LP to 14 days so was trying to boost my progesterone today. I had some spotting this morning (mostly brown cm with a bit of red) but nothing since, I think AF must be on it's way though.

Ghengis I took the clomid at night and i have not had any bad side effects, have noticed that i had loads of ewcm, which i get a little usually but this was lots!!

magpie I am due on Sunday!!, sounds great about acupuncture , i might decide to give it a go!!

I don't think this is my month, I have had brown spotting, though i have got to day 22 without spotting, so that is good, I don't expect to have been lucky this month as we never dtd much, but i do still feel really disappointed , had a little cry in the toilet, do not ever see this happening for us, feel a bit of a failure, sorry to be so glum!!

DizzyN Fantastic news - how exciting!! And great to have something to take your mind off the all-encompassing TTC (for a few minutes at least ;) )

Sorry about the spotting and feeling down Rainy. It's just so hard especially when it seems to happen so easily for everyone else. Anyway, to be clear, you're not a failure, our babies are just taking a bit longer to arrive. Glad to read that the clomid hasn't had any bad side effects.

That limbo feeling is awful, and you just want AF to arrive so you can get cracking on your next cycle (or get a BFP of course!) Thanks for the ff charting reminder - I had completely forgotten about those lessons so will go through them when my thermometer arrives.

Got baby bombed this morning - wasn't a bad one though as she is one of the people I already had pegged as a potential baby bomber. I can't believe my life has come to the point where I actually make these distinctions

magpie I love houses too. Well, it's a renovated 30's style house which is great as most of this town is sixties or new builds. 2 big double bedrooms and the usual 3rd bedroom box. It was bought and done up by a developer so it's got new decor and flooring throughout, a new bathroom and a downstairs loo (high priority on our list of 'must haves'!) The two best things about it are that its got an extension on the back which means it's got this huge kitchen/diner with brand new kitchen, Sky lights and French doors into the garden, and the garden itself is pretty big in comparison to other houses within our budget . No front garden as they've put shingle down but this means we've got loads of space for parking. Only drawback is that it's on quite a busy main road, but it had too much to offer so that was our only compromise. I am so so excited! I love my flat but I've been waiting for so long to get my very own house!

magpie I do find it fascinating that by sticking needles in a particular place it somehow improves progesterone. Let us know whether you see any difference and you may convince me to have a go

DizzyN the house sounds lovely! Especially having just been done up. It means you can focus on decorating to your tastes rather than fixing things up!

So I woke up early this morning and still no AF. Convinced I can't have ovulated but thought I'd do an Internet cheapie just in case (I'm 13DPO and they've been negative the last couple of days). Had a quick look but couldn't see anything so went back to bed. I looked at it when I got up and it had a very faint line but it looked a bit like an evap and DH couldn't see it. I had a clearblue lying around so did that. Started cleaning the cat tray then looked back and saw it was positive! My romantic way of tell DH was "you'll have to finish cleaning the cat poo because I just got a positive test!". I won't believe it fully until I've seen it on a FRER as I don't trust blue dye tests, but here it is, I'm not seeing things am I?

No news from me. Opk is no darker than yesterday's so no idea what my body is trying to do! Can stress delay ovulation?? I'm definitely stressed but think It's because I've got it in my mind that I won't ov this cycle! Oh well I have acupuncture on Tuesday and I'm looking forward to it and can spend a bit of time relaxing.
