Happy Easter everyone. May your eggs be either chocolate and/or fertilised. SmileFlowers

Still no sign of AF, I woke up feeling sick with a weird taste in my mouth ate breakfast and still feel sick, weird taste still there. I'm having creamy lotion cm so I'm going to buy a few cheap pink pee sticks and see if anything

birdboo · 25/03/2016 12:19
  • happens.
Mummy2squish · 25/03/2016 18:13

I had one reflexology appointment with DS and was pregnant by the end of my cycle! Probably just a coincidence!

Just got home from hols to my pelvic and abdo scan appointment, can't help feeling really worried. I know there's nothing I can do either way but still scary! CD58 today....

loopylou1984 · 25/03/2016 20:43

Quick wave to everyone Smile Xx

ThirtyNineWeeks · 26/03/2016 02:36

Sammy, you're going to be a mum, too. You are. Don't put dates on your baby...it will come xXx

Purdey

lucieloos · 26/03/2016 06:57

Thanks purdie, Ghengis, dizzy and everybody else. We are thrilled but obviously being very cautious as well. Purdie you always said it would happen and I was never sure but here I am! Thank you for all your support over the years and for continuing to pop in and check me and Sammy and the others are ok. Hope all is going well with you and the little one.

Have a happy Easter everyone x

DizzyNorthernBird · 26/03/2016 09:41

Congratulations lucie! Heres to a healthy and happy pregnancy! Star

bird sorry your body is messing with you although your symptoms yesterday sound promising, any luck?

magpie ugh at the spotting, where in your cycle are you?

DizzyNorthernBird · 26/03/2016 09:48

I'm still not 100%. Went back to work on Thursday and it was just hideous. Thank goodness for the bank holiday weekend so I can recover! According to the news there's a late flu outbreak so I think that's what I've got. I'm now stuck with a chesty cough which is just yuck. Still had a high temperature yesterday too, DP took his on my bbt thermometer, he was 37.6. I took mine and I was 38.4 Shock. I just want to get better quickly, I'm supposed to be doing my half marathon a week tomorrow , it's the only thing that's been keeping me going through all the ttc disappointment. I'll be gutted if I miss out.

birdboo · 26/03/2016 23:14

Still no AF, still creamy cm. I feel like I'm going insane trying to work my body out.

DH has captured the pee stick stash because he thinks I'm upsetting myself and obsessing. His rule his 7 days later then test which is only just outside my longest cycle.

Mummy2squish · 27/03/2016 07:57

bird sorry this must be so frustrating for you.

Still no AF here either and BFNs I've binned all my ic opks and pregnancy tests as they were making more stressed than anything.

NurseRosie · 27/03/2016 09:04

Happy Easter everyone. Yet again I am behind with all of your stories but I read that congratulations are in order for some of you, it's amazing and so exciting. I hope everyone is ok and if not gp keeping the faith.
I am being really impatient this month. I promised DH I would POAS until AF was due but it's taken a lot to resist. Anyway, due tomorrow and really can't tell if I'm PMSing or not. My boobs are really sore again but seem to have been last few AFs. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
Having some family time today with parents, siblings and nieces. Hope you all enjoy the long weekend x

Kellz92 · 27/03/2016 20:53

Happy Easter all. Xx

BorisIsBack · 28/03/2016 07:28

Happy easter everyone.
Hope AF stayed away bird, Rosie and mummy.....

Bird sorry you're stuck in limbo. Your DH sounds sensible but I can understand your frustration!

Squish when are your appointments? Hope they go well! I know it's nerve wracking but it's much better to know what you're up against.

Sammy hope you're doing okay!

DizzyN I'm CD9 now, the spotting was at the end of AF and has stopped now. I was just worried it was going to turn into one of my epically long bleeds. How's things with you? Are you feeling better now? I hope you recover in time for the half marathon.

Rosie I hope AF stays away! Are you going to test today?

I had a bit of EWCM over the weekend but didn't DTD as we had a house full of people. I worked out if we conceived on this cycle, the baby would be due on Christmas Day (based on the first day of AF). Part of me doesn't want to have a Christmas baby but equally, I've been trying this long I don't want to not try on the off chance I actually ovulate. What if I do ovulate and it's the only time my body manages for months and I miss it? Driving myself mad going round in circles.

DizzyMerry · 28/03/2016 12:44

That's so frustrating bird. Hope you find out either way Flowers

Hope you're doing ok sammy.

Oh no dizzy that doesn't sound pleasant. Hope you recover in time for your marathon.

Squish I hope the reflexology results in a bfp! Good luck with your appointments.

Rosie keeping my fx for you.

Magpie pleased there's no more spotting now. I used to feel the same about having a baby around Christmas, other birthdays etc but as it's always taken me so long to conceive I know just go for it as who knows it could be the month we catch that egg. Only you can decide what's right for you though.

I'm cd8 and it's time to get dtd. Deep joy!!!

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter Easter Smile

NurseRosie · 28/03/2016 19:28

Hi all.
Magpie I know what you mean and had the same feeling but I'm so impatient to have a baby, I don't mind giving it double presents on Christmas Day fir the rest of it's life though, lol. That's hoping I can afford to do that in the future.
Enjoy getting down to it Dizzy, hope you are feeling better and up to it. Feeling all better now? FX for you.
Squish let us know about the reflexology, I hope it's relaxing and helps you to get preg x
I'm currently sat waiting. No sign of AF but DH doesn't want to jump the gun so not testing today. He wants to wait until the end of the week. Trying to go around it in a different way this month but I just want to know, he doesn't get it really. I've developed this weird rash on my boobs and belly so a bit anxious. Anyway, I'll relax in the bath or something and keep you posted x

Rainy34 · 28/03/2016 20:29

Lucie Congratulations, what wonderful news, happy nine months xx

Iv not read back but hope everyone is well and hello to all the newbiesxx

Iv just popped on to see everyone, i will be rejoining the bus after this cycle is over, I am in the middle of my cycle so won't be to long and we can get back to trying again

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 29/03/2016 02:06

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter!

Sorry to read that you're still in limbo Bird. It's so frustrating, and I hope you do manage to get an appointment to discuss the endo etc soon. Also, hope you enjoyed your beer festival!

Squish I hope you enjoyed your holidays? Good luck with the appointment - it's strange - you want the appointments but can't help but worry when they come through (well that could just be me).

Rosie hopefully the rash is a pregnancy symptom! Fx that AF stays away for you and I have to say, I'm impressed at your resolve re. POAS (or your DH's Grin)

Magpie Hope you had a good Easter with your friends, and great news that your spotting has stopped. As for me, I would happily have a Christmas baby but I do understand where you're coming from.

DizzyN sorry to read that you're still ill. You must have got an awful dose. Hopefully you'll feel able to do the marathon.

Thanks for sharing your tests DizzyM - it sounds like you had to go through a lot. Good luck with dtd and of course your tests on Wed.

Hi Rainy!

In my news, I am currently feeling rather bemused. For the HSG, I had to collect a prescription - I have to insert iodine pessaries in my foof for four nights, take oral antibiotics for three, bring along my own dye, a sarong, sanitary towels, and then to make me feel better about myself, I had to go and have a blood test to prove I'm not pregnant. I hope I never have to have a serious operation here Grin

Hello to everyone else - hope everyone is doing well!

BorisIsBack · 29/03/2016 07:51

Rainy - lovely to see you back. Hope you are ok. Xx

Genghis, your HSG certainly sounds like a mission and a half. I had to abstain from sex before my HSG for a month and sign a declaration promising I wasnt pregnant. Given that i was in the UK I had to bring a dressing gown not a sarong though. Good luck for it. It's not particularly nice but mine didn't hurt. I was told to take a pre-emotive paracetamol before, just in case.

OP posts:
loopylou1984 · 29/03/2016 07:56

Good lord Ghengis! What a mission. Xx

BorisIsBack · 29/03/2016 09:17

Pre- emotive? Preemptive.

OP posts:
MagpieCursedTea · 29/03/2016 13:29

Genghis that sounds complicated. I like the idea of the sarong though, is that instead of the hospital gown? Much more stylish!

Rainy how have you been?

Rosie how's the rash today? I'm impressed with your restraint, I never can resist POAS.

DizzyM the joy of enforced TTC DTD!

I've decided that I really don't want to stop trying, I'm not sure why the Christmas thing bothers me. I do have a friend who was born a few days before Christmas and he always complains about it so maybe that's stuck with me? Either way, I'm still going to watch out for ovulation but won't put too much pressure of DTD EOD. So a bit more of a relaxed approach (which will probably do us good) and I can go back to being obsessive on the next cycle.

DizzyMerry · 29/03/2016 15:59

Good to see you back rainy. When do you start with the clomid?

That's almost like getting packed and ready for a mini break but with the opposite of what you'd want to take, bar the sarong Ghengis!

Magpie we start off with good intentions but we almost always get disturbed by DD calling out or we're both just too knackered and end up with a quickie! Enjoy your relaxed cycle.

I have reflexology booked for tomorrow afternoon and can't wait. I also have my acupuncture session booked for tomorrow evening which I haven't cancelled as I want to see how the reflexology goes and how I feel about it. Hope it's not too much for my body!

NurseRosie · 29/03/2016 18:11

Hi girls, couldn't wait any longer!

Welcome to bumsnet
Jod1985 · 29/03/2016 18:26
