Blueberry nice to hear from you. Take care. I'm so relieved you are getting medical answers now.

Sorry for bfn DizzyM - go get that SA... Get more knowledge. It's power, to quote our purdey.

Thanks for the advice. I will keep looking for jobs and deal with what comes first, baby or new job.

I need to catch up with what's going on with you all, maybe after this rainbow cake has cooked I'll get chance to have a proper read. Hope all is well x x

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 18/03/2016 01:14

DizzyN, I agree with Magpie and DizzyM, and think you should take the soy and vits. Hooray for a close cycle buddy, and probably the next month too as DP is off travelling during my next fertile period. Great timing Hmm

DizzyM, hopefully it's just too early, but agree on the no fun! Great that you're getting DH to get another SA. I'm looking forward to getting DP's results as it feels like another step taken.

Blueberry, you poor thing, you've had such a rough ride recently. Hopefully they will sort out your bladder issue quickly.

Nurse I agree with the others too....and is a rainbow cake one of the cakes with the different coloured layers? If so, I'm very impressed!

Magpie Hooray to no bleeding but sorry about all the frustrations..

Sammy I hope you have a lovely Friday with DH. I can only imagine how anxious you are about testing. I really hope it is a BFP but if not, it's good that you've got an idea about your next steps. You can carry on, and you will get there. x

BorisIsBack · 18/03/2016 06:32

DizzyN my rule to myself with soy and any other herbal stuff (including vit b) was to take a max of three months and then take a break from it for a while. Incase they had negative effects that cumulatively could hurt me. I tried soy on two different times once for two months the other time for three. Neither time made any difference. My second rule was only change one of my herbal tricks per month, that was if I felt it had an undue affect on my cycle I might know what caused it. Both pregnacare and soy did change my cycle.
Not sure if that helps?!

DizzyNorthernBird · 18/03/2016 19:31

boris/genghis I started taking the soy yesterday so I'm committed now! Have upped the dose to see if anything happens. Seven seas seem to be full price everywhere arm so I've had to ordered some off amazon. DP and I have agreed to have a time out (properly this time!) so if the supps mess things up it won't matter! I'll come off them if/as & when I'm being referred for tests.

Hope everyone has nice plans for the weekend!

MagpieCursedTea · 19/03/2016 07:34

Sammy good luck today! Thanks

DizzyM what is your DH's morphology? . My DH's was 2% and we were quite worried when we found out but it was enough to have DS. It's playing on my mind a bit again though. I guess it only takes one good sperm though!

Blueberry glad to hear they've found a reason for the pain, hoping they can get you sorted soon! Sorry to hear they still haven't figured out the issue with your cycles. I wonder if the bladder problems have had an impact?

DizzyN sounds like a good plan with the soy!

Nothing new from me, hope everyone has a lovely weekend!

DizzyMerry · 19/03/2016 08:53

Magpie DH's was 0% but saying that we did manage to conceive the month after he got his results! Apparently NHS SA results aren't that reliable as some say they don't use the best microscopes to check the sperm thoroughly. I'd just feel better if he repeated the test.

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 19/03/2016 11:10

Enjoy your month off DizzyN...will you still temp, or go completely cold turkey? Smile

Sammy good luck today!

No news from me - still waiting for AF to show up, but glad she's a day or two late as it works out better for my tests.

Hello to everyone, and hope you're all having enjoyable weekends. I think I have just had my laziest Saturday ever - it was great!

Mummy2squish · 19/03/2016 12:11

sammy good luck!!

Hope all you other ladies are ok!

Not much news from me. Day 52 with no AF thought I was coming on today as I had spotting but then nothing and an almost positive opk!! Have NO idea what's going on!!

Jod1985 · 19/03/2016 12:21

Hi Ladies, can I get on this bus? I'm getting my Mirena out on Wednesday and will be TTC #3. Nervous and excited.

chopsface · 19/03/2016 12:24

Hope you're OK sammy Confused

DizzyNorthernBird · 19/03/2016 13:18

Yes sammy, how are you? Are you ok?

Welcome jod1, tell us about yourself!

squish sounds like an ovulation bleed? I'd be getting jiggy if I were you just in case!!

genghis I've not temped the last two days now, I didn't last month after af either until my cm became fertile then I started again until ov was confirmed. In the spirit of having a month off I'd be tempted to go cold turkey completely but on the other hand I'd just be causing myself a massive inconvenience as I'll be clueless as to when af is due.......with that in mind I'd probably do like I did last month but won't be easy to stay switched off from ttc!

magpie & dizzym is you both still conceived with those results I'm wondering why we bother?! If they're that unreliable....... At the moment I'm just seeing DP's SA as a gateway to further tests for myself. Wish it would hurry up though! Still got just over a month to wait!

Mummy2squish · 19/03/2016 13:38

dizzyn looks like AF Is making an appearance which proves to me that OPK are causing me more stress that is necessary, tracking back through my period app and based on dates I didn't have any positive OPK in the days around the time I would have expected to ovulate!!

So I think for me I'm gonna go down the DTD every other day and trying to tune in to my body now, just started pregnacare as well.

Do love my body, go on holiday on Monday!!!! Fab timing!!!

BorisIsBack · 19/03/2016 13:38

Mummy - day 52, that's tough, but it sounds like you are ovulation. I get spotting right before a possitive opk.

Welcome Jod.

My DH sa results (done 3 now) have always varied from 0% to being within the normal range. If his first test had been the normal one we wouldn't have tested again to discover that the two other tests were so poor....

Jod1985 · 19/03/2016 14:36

I'm Jod, I'm 31, married and have 2 DC. The youngest is 3yrs old but I still feel like this is the first time again. As impatient as I was first time around!

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2016 14:46

Hi ladies. I didn't test until this afternoon as we spent the morning with my parents. I saved my fmu and its bfn again. I'm so sad I can't even explain. The thought of going through the entire process again on the NHS is just awful, but the thought of not doing it is worse.
I've got to carry on with all my mess until otd on Wednesday, when they'll make me test again just to confirm. I used a FRER today though, and an the equivent of 14dpo so pretty sure it's not going to change. Xx

loopylou1984 · 19/03/2016 14:50

DizzyMerry · 19/03/2016 14:54

Oh sammy I'm so sorry. I was really hoping this was it for you. It's so unfair. Please look after yourself Flowers

Beansprout30 · 19/03/2016 15:19

Sorry sammy this is not fair. Im certain you will get there, never give up xx

Mummy2squish · 19/03/2016 15:38

Oh sammy sorry to hear this, I had a friend who had a bfn at 5 weeks and a bfp and 5 1/2 weeks so I'm holding out for you.

Huge hugs Thanks

chopsface · 19/03/2016 16:21

Oh Sammy massive hugs hun x x

MagpieCursedTea · 19/03/2016 20:24

Sammy I'm so sorry lovely, massive hugs to you Thanks

Jod welcome! Best of luck!

squish I'm sure I've heard that some women can get a positive OPK just before AF. OPKs can be a nightmare though, sorry AF got you. Hope you have a lovely holiday!

DizzyN they wouldn't have handed over the Clomid with DH doing (two) SAs, so it was worth it! It did show that he had a good sperm count and they could all move well. He's since read about morphology being a bit of a controversial measure with variable "accepted levels" but at the time the low reading stressed him out quite a bit.

Genghis I'm very envious of your lazy day. I've been helping DH at work (and will be tomorrow too) and it's been so busy! I hope you're Sunday is equally as chilled.

DizzyM that's really interesting about the microscopes! As I said to DizzyN, it seems like morphology counts are a hit and miss thing and sperm count and motility matter much more.

DizzyNorthernBird · 19/03/2016 20:58

Oh sammy. So sorry you're going through this. Don't give up hope yet though, doesn't the success rate increase for cycle two and three? Its not the end of the road yet for you and once you put the disappointment of this cycle behind you, you will find the strength to keep going xxx Flowers

NurseRosie · 19/03/2016 22:29

Aww Sammy I'm so sorry for you, really going through the mill. I really hope things start looking up for you. I have everything crossed. Please try to keep the faith. I have a friend who has been on your position and has a baby boy now so please don't give up.

Welcome Jod, I hope you find as much support and guidance from these lovely ladies as I have the past few months.

I hate the TWW which is where I am at the mo, doesn't it drag guys? I'm so impatient, I hate not knowing.

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 19/03/2016 22:39

Sammy, I'm really sorry to read your news. I can only imagine the disappointment, and just hope you and your DH are looking after yourselves. You will get there one day (small consolation at the moment I know). Take care xx
