Not sure genghis, I don't want to stop with the soy before I've given it a proper chance but I'll wait and see how the next few days go. If af comes early then I'm not to worried, but if I spot all week until af arrives on Friday then there's obviously a problem. I think in the first instance I'd be tempted to continue with soy but go back on the preconception vits. I don't think I've got much to lose!

Fx your body behaves magpie.

Rooting for you both sammy & boris xxxx

Sorry about the endo squish but although it's awful when you find out there's a problem at least you can start working towards doing something about it. I was just speaking to a colleague last night who has endo.....1 yr of ttc and she's currently 9 wks pg and appears to be doing well so it just shows, it shouldn't hold you back!

Fx ov happens soon bird

dizzym how's things with you?

DizzyNorthernBird · 15/03/2016 13:09

As for me, feeling bloody hideous today after yet another long night at work Hmm. Was supposed to finish at 2am but didn't leave until 6am. DP and I are like ships in the night this week, we passed each other as I was on my way out last night and again this morning when I arrived home and he was heading out to work. Quick kiss and he was off. It's shit. Won't see him properly until Friday now. Thank god this isn't fertile week!!!

No spotting yet this morning but I've only just got up and temp is obviously way out of whack as I got up 6 hours later than usual after only 5 hours sleep!

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 15/03/2016 23:58

I hope the spotting stays away DizzyN! Those long shifts sound horrendous by the way...

loopylou1984 · 16/03/2016 06:54

Just place marking ladies. I'm reading everything I promise, just not had chance to comment back to everyone. 6dp5dt here (so 11dpo basically, and test day is still a week away! Xx

Yaaaaay Borris!! Congratulations again (I posted on FB re: your dilemma), I'm so happy for you ThanksThanksThanks

Sammy I hope you're managing to take it easy, not long until test day!

DizzyN how are you doing today? I hope you're getting some rest, those shifts sound exhausting.

Genghis it does seem massively unfair that our bodies just won't do what they're supposed to. How's your battle with the embassy going?

Bird good luck with the TWW. Enjoy the decorating!

I'm CD22, temp still low, still moody and very crampy but the bleeding is staying away so far.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 16/03/2016 08:58

Boris huge congratulations. So so happy for you. I hope you are feeling ok. I'm sure it will take a good while to sink in.

Good luck to everyone else this month. I hope the Easter bunny brings some fertilised eggs this year GrinThanks

BorisIsBack · 16/03/2016 09:01

My dilema in short is that I've been asked to go on a trip to China when (if it all works) I would be 9 weeks, the trip would be full on. I didn't know ig or how to try to get out of it. Gah.

BorisIsBack · 16/03/2016 09:08

By the way, I'm sticking around until dizzyN, dizzyM, lucie, nomio, rainey, sammy and you all get your BFPs.

Oh I've not been asked to go to China, more Told

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 16/03/2016 09:26

Boris if you don't feel comfortable going there, would you consider telling your boss in confidence? i.e. I'm in the early stages of pregnancy and do not feel able to travel? Obviously it's not ideal telling your boss before you want to, and I don't know if your boss is the sympathetic type but you're well protected (legally) in pregnancy. I imagine you'll have to say something sooner rather than later, so good luck.

As an aside, do you get to travel to China much? I lived there for some time and loved it!

GenghisKahnSchmitz · 16/03/2016 09:54

Magpie that's great that the bleeding hasn't started! Embassy dilemmas are still ongoing but by Friday nearly all the paperwork should be done (well for their side). At least that will be something positive for Friday, when no doubt AF will turn up.

No news from me but I did collect a list of medication/things I have to have for the HSG including a choice of dye (which made me laugh until I realised it was probably something to do with the iodine).

DizzyNorthernBird · 16/03/2016 10:07

Congratulations again boris! Have posted on FB, didn't really have anything useful to add however just a thought........in both my current job and previous job as soon as you make it known that you're pg they have to put you on restricted duties. So in my current job that means we aren't allowed to do any duties which would put our physical safety at risk. But in my previous job that also meant you weren't allowed to fly (I was long haul cabin crew!) due to a tiny amount of risk to the foetus from cabin pressure, radiation etc. Now, I suppose what I'm getting at is if your boss forces you to go on this long haul trip and anything happened to you or the baby you would surely have grounds to take out legal proceedings against them? Is there a way you can subtly plant this seed in your bosses head without causing offence? Also, my company are obliged to support anyone going through fertility treatment.....I'm not sure what the score is with other employers but I think you need to tell her you've been through IVF to get this pregnancy and therefore you cannot afford to take any risks whatsoever.

Just the other day we were discussing the clinic not letting you take any risks by taking exercise etc.......what is their stance on long haul travel? can you get them to write you a letter to give your boss?

It's so lovely to finally see a bfp under your name!! Xx

genghis the shifts are horrendous. They're usually only supposed to be 8 or 9 hours but we pretty much get overtime pay thrown at us when needed and it's difficult to refuse it!

sammy the next week will fly by, hang on in there xx

magpie I'm ok thanks, have woke up with a headache again today for the second morning in a row, I'm not sure whether it's hormonal or just the late shifts messing with me or both. Still getting spotting....it's more like creamy brown cm though which I usually only see a day before af arrives, never 4 days before Confused I've got a feeling this is going to carry on all week and af will arrive as predicted on Friday, so I really need to think about getting back on the vits for next month in case something has happened to my luteal phase.

birdboo · 16/03/2016 10:23

Congratulations Boris Flowers

Sodasoda · 16/03/2016 10:39

boris! I am totally thrilled for you! Hooray! You so deserve this and here's hoping you have a really relaxed and healthy pregnancy Grin

Really good advice from dizzyn re your dilemma - I also work for an organisation where they have to be supportive about pregnancy and fertility treatment. Everybody is desk-based but there's still risk assessments etc as soon as you tell them. I hope your boss is sympathetic and you can explain your situation. Plus, on a very minor note, you may not feel up to dashing around China at 9 weeks! Lots of love to you xx

sammy - really rooting for you xx

DizzyMerry · 16/03/2016 11:34

Sorry haven't caught up yet but just read Boris'
news. I'm over the moon for you lovely. It's been a long time coming FlowersCake woohoo! Great advice about your dilemma and I would go what the others have suggested.

Off to catch up now.

DizzyMerry · 16/03/2016 11:47

It's great that you'll be sticking around boris.

Hope your laparoscopy went well blueberry.

Dizzy sorry you have started spotting. It's so rubbish when our bodies don't cooperate with us. Once your DP has had the SA things will start moving for you and fx you will then have a treatment plan.

Magpie hope the bleeding stays away. It seems that the metformin is helping in that sense and fx you see ovulation soon.

Ghengis that made me chuckle! When is your HSG again?

Good luck with the decorating bird. Fx for you.

Sammy keeping my fx for you too and everyone else currently in the tww.

NurseRosie · 16/03/2016 16:48

Hi guys, sorry I've been quiet, had a long weekend away. Now sitting pretty in my TWW hoping there's a little one growing. We DTD too much this month so hoping so.

I'm absolutely over the moon for you Boris, massive congratulations.

Hope everyone else is ok and heading towards those BFPs x x
