DizzyN - So glad he's got the appt - I remember your pcos diagnosis but wasn't sure what if anything had happened since. Hope further investigations start moving things along for you. Can you remember when they talked about hellp on this morning? If recently I'd love to track it down on catchup as would be really interested to see what was said - i too had never heard of it!

Sorry pug I had it on live pause for ages while I was on the phone and lost track, so I've got no idea....also I was only half paying attention but I heard them discussing it. It was possibly during the phone in with the female doctor? I think the caller was expressing concerns about getting pregnant again after having it last time around.

magpie just saw about your temp drop, that's really annoying, your body must be doing what mine did last month! Keep dtd, don't do what I did & stop and miss out completely!

So I'm really confused now I have done opk and they've been negative the last couple of days but I've got a lot of EWCM more than I do usually! I swear my body is playing tricks at the moment!!

DizzyM you always sound so positive about acupuncture...good luck with the cross training. Like Magpie, I also keep meaning to do yoga but something always seems to come up.

DizzyN Your wedding plans sound lovely - I'm actually supposed to be getting married next month but the paperwork has been an absolute nightmare (it all has to be sent abroad) so currently postponed indefinitely - I would cry but there's nothing I can do at the moment so instead am using the time to try and tone up.

Mummy It's so frustrating isn't it? Hope you managed to dtd just in case!

Genghis your wedding situation sounds really frustrating. I hope it gets sorted out soon! My temp was low again this morning. So annoyed with myself for getting my hopes up. I should know better by now.

Squish I know the feeling! I would say to trust your body's signs like EWCM over OPKs. Just keep DTD when you can!

DizzyN the joy of irregular cycles! I'm guessing it's a PCOS thing to gear up to ovulate then for it to just not happen? I've been bleeding for so long I feel like a newbie when it comes to looking for ovulation.

Pug I was diagnosed with PCOS a couple of weeks ago and put on metformin, so just trying to get to grips with that!

I hear ya Magpie! Strange about your temp...what day are you on now? It's so hard when you don't know what's up :( How are the side effects these days?

right now but I do hope you can both rest and relax a bit.

Ghengis how annoying about your wedding. Hope you get things sorted but it's good you're doing something positive for yourself in the meantime. Re the acupuncture it just makes me better to think I'm at least doing something.

Magpie how rubbish! We are nothing without hope though and it's the one thing that keeps us going and kills me every month. You're strong and you will get through this. We have to
go through some rough and tough times before getting our bfps. Are you being monitored whilst you're on metformin to check you're ovulating? When is your next gynae appointment?

Hey thanks to all thoes asking after me. I'm trying to be pretty chilled about this tww, I'm oddly less obsessive than I usually am... 5 days in and twiddling my thumbs. I do seem to have massive boobs though which is quite nice! AF is due for me this weekend, I've had my usual pre AF headache which is annoying... Otherwise I'm symptom and relatively stess free.

Genghis I'm CD17. The side effects have improved a lot, still getting a bit of nausea and a dry throat though.

DizzyM how very true! At least we have bumsnet to get us through it! I'm not having any actual monitoring, though I'm meant to have another scan in a couple of months and then my next gynaecology appointment a month after that. I haven't had any letters yet though. How are you doing today?

Boris sounds like you're managing to be fairly chilled, I'm still keeping everything crossed for you. When are you planning on testing?

I'm doing okay at the moment, I've been obsessing way too much but managed to be distracted and had a nice day. I had my acupuncture this afternoon and it was focusing on getting me to ovulate. I even had the electro one which felt weird but strangely enjoyable. I've now also got little sticker things with tiny needles in stuck on my ears for a couple of days. Anyone had that before? The thing we do for a bfp!

I have had a tiny bit of ewcm today. It was more a blink and I would have missed it. Managed to Dtd but it did feel like a chore we had to do rather than something we do for fun.

Will catch up later, but Boris your pre af headache is probably caused by high progesterone which you also have now thanks to the lovely pessaries! Don't worry

I hope your headache goes away Boris...and does that mean that you could actually test this weekend? It must be taking all your strength not to test every day! Glad to read you're being as chilled as you can be!

Magpie I'd never heard about the needles in your ears so I definitely haven't!! Glad that you managed a relaxing day without TTC stress..it can be so hard to switch off from it.

DizzyM You're right about the 'at least I'm doing something', you need something to focus on to get by. Are you also in the middle of fertility testing etc?

Bird good work on dtd - it's hard for it not to become a chore isn't it? We sometimes struggle dtd during the week but when DP starts moaning (so romantic) I start on at him about the costs of the tests/treatment and that shuts him up until the next time

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend - there has been torrential rain here since Friday, and for once in my life I'm actually delighted!

Genghis the idea of you producing a breakdown of fertility test bills as some sort of foreplay has made me laugh a lot! Enjoy the rain!

Bird DTD when TTC can often seem like a chore, it's gives me the rage when I hear someone say that trying is the fun part, just no! Yay for the EWCM though, good sign!

Hope everyone has a fun weekend! Nothing new from me, temp is still low and I still have weird needles (which after a google I now know are known as ear tacks) in my ears.

Genghis, I can't text properly yet, the trigger shot could give me a false possitive, I need to hold out a few more days (after Monday) by which point I'll be more than 14 DPO so more likely to get a clear result. I couldn't deal with a false possitive. I might try and wait till next weekend.

Been a bit rubbish with the low GI diet this weekend but getting back on the wagon now. Although I haven't had any chocolate in what feels like an eternity two weeks.

DizzyN I'm due on Fri/Sat. I've had lots of pre-AF cramps this morning, which were a delight, so just waiting for AF to rock up.
