Happy weekend all - geek I hope the spotting isn't too much.

I've got my new 30e bras, I think they're right but take a bit of getting used to

Aah kip seems to be giving up her nap at not yet 2.5, I thought I'd have another year. That'll be fun come October...

cartoontrickster · 10/04/2016 15:36

You were still getting naps keep! N has been laughing in the face of nap time for ages .
loopy I'm gutted for you.
Hope everyone else is ok and enjoying their weekend.

Imps9 · 11/04/2016 06:57

Morning lovelies.

What testing/shagging news Trix? I forget where you are in your cycle.

Going down to one bum bullet a day from today for a week. Had a major fret last night that it's all going wrong as haven't been sick for three days, only nauseous. Then I made the stupid error of reading threads about people who've had bad news at the dating scan.

Feel a bit less gloomy this morning but I think that this is going to be the longest week ever.

cartoontrickster · 11/04/2016 08:52

Cd16 here. I brought some really cheap dippy ov tests been testing since day 13 and no positive yet. Have had a couple of shags anyway just in case Wink

imps the hardest part is nearly over! Try not to worry and no more reading! I'm sure that won't happen to you.

keepitgoing · 11/04/2016 08:55

imps as you know most people have not had 2 scans by the time of the dating scan. Jarrah for fewer bum bullets. Last time they had me stop cold turkey at 9 weeks, I think evidence is pretty limited of it helping by now

Yay, go trix

Ooh I forgot how good second trimester sex is!

keepitgoing · 11/04/2016 08:56

;)

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/04/2016 09:30

Morning everyone,

I had my booking-in this morning, lots of questions and stuff to read. I'm back for lots of blood tests next week. At the end of the appointment she said that they have a ulrasound machine if I get worried, they can just have a Quick scan. So I asked if I could have one then. And she said yes! Did a normal abdominal scan and saw our Little 3cm baby moving its arms and legs :o :o

NT scan booked for 28th April

I'm dropping down to 2 progesterone/day next week

Fab news Beedle

cartoontrickster · 11/04/2016 09:53

Wow beedle that's great Smile

Can all you preggos remind me how many weeks you are??

How are things geek?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/04/2016 10:06

imps isn't your lack of vomming (hoorah!) due to the placenta taking over. Not due to anything going wrong, I'm sure Barry-Baxter is doing just fine in there. Though I have also googled such things and was happily surprised that the risk of pregnancy ending with a mmc is about 1%. Is it Friday your scan?

trix I'm 10+1 and imps and keep* are approx 2 and 4 weeks ahead of me

geek hope Everything is ok with the peesticks this morning.

keepitgoing · 11/04/2016 10:43

Ooh beedle what a lovely bonus! imps' scan is Monday

I got my nt results through as low risk but not as low as last time so that's another milestone done. Kip asked me the other day 'mummy can we phone the baby now?' And also keeps asking if it's big and can be born yet... Grin

Imps9 · 11/04/2016 11:24

Beedles wow - can't believe you get scans on demand!! How truly lovely to see your little one this morning!

Yes, the logical part of me agrees that the sickness is disappearing because the placenta is taking over. It's just so bloody disconcerting when you've had such you've had such excessive sickness for it to suddenly be okay again. Although I did bring up my cup of tea after I posted this morning, which was reassuring.

October will be a lifetime away for Kip, Keep! And well done on the excellent sexing!

Am 12 weeks today and my scan is next Monday gibber

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/04/2016 11:27

It was Lovely as we only had about 5 mins to worry that it might show something wrong. No nervously sitting in the waiting room convinced that they wouldn't find anything.

How sweet of kip, she's got rather a long wait until she can meet her Little brother or sister - and even longer until they want to play with her!

OP posts:
cartoontrickster · 11/04/2016 11:40

Aw how sweet is kip!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/04/2016 11:43

I know, Scans on demand are Amazing. Though I don't Think they'll let me come and have one every week! I Think the mw are trained to be able to use the scanners just to spot movements etc, she said she couldn't do an internal one (even though the dildocam was attached) but she did do a Quick check on the measurements. I'm not sure she would have done it then if we hadn't already had a 7 week scan.

I've joined an ante-natal thread and there's a women there who's had Heavy bleeding over the weekend, been to A& E etc and they won't scan her until Wednesday to see what's happening. It seems almost cruel to make someone wait that long.

imps glad you feel happier after vomming again!

OP posts:
ControlGeek · 11/04/2016 12:17

Beedle that's fantastic news - how amazing that you can get scans on demand, they should be available everywhere! That poor woman on your antenatal thread Sad our NHS don't offer same day scans either, I've had to wait for all of my 'emergency' ones. I hope everything's ok for her.

imps even the Duchess of Cambridge stopped vomming eventually, I am sure it's just the placenta kicking in. You'll be kicking back, relaxing and enjoying your pg vom-free before you know it. Roll on Monday!

Keep congrats on your nt results, that must be a relief even if it's not something you were particularly worried about - it's always good to get good news.

All good here, I had a spot-free weekend and i'm crossing everything that it stays that way. I'm knicker-checking like a pro still though. This morning's stick was very pretty, but no photos (sorry imps) as I had to be in work at stupid o'clock and ran out of time getting ready. Had a total hormonal meltdown this morning, snot, screaming, the works. Poor MrG! No other symptoms to speak of, at least not that can't be directly attributed to the artificial hormones (bum bullet farts, anyone?!) Grin

keepitgoing · 11/04/2016 12:34

beedle and others I've spotted a ',pregnancy after intertilty' thread on the pregnancy board. Personally I find the regular AN threads vv busy but also people are having a very different experience of it all if they've not had issues. Just a thought

keepitgoing · 11/04/2016 12:35

geek that's brilliant about no spotting!

loopy hope you're OK
Come on trix's ovaries, pop that egg!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/04/2016 13:00

geek fab news about no spotting, I hope imps forgives you for lack of peestick! When is OTD? or is it just my clinic that has them stupidly late (18 dpo for a natural cycle FET)

the Nov thread is fairly busy but there's a few others that have had ivf, others that have had a mc or two, so I Think most women are still at the worried stage. No-one has been pram shopping or started talking about names at least! It probably helps that I'm due at the beginning of the month so there's no-one more than a week ahead of me

OP posts:
Imps9 · 11/04/2016 14:22

no bloody photo. Some people have no bloody respect for the Brookers' Code

ControlGeek · 11/04/2016 14:26

OTD was last Friday Beedle but that was supposed to be for a blood test. The clinic actually wanted me to wait an extra two days if I was testing via HPT - as if I could possibly wait until 16dpo, the very thought!!! Grin

The last time I ventured onto an AN thread I lurked on the normal one for about five minutes before I saw they had no patience with post-mc anxiety so found my way to the posifrickintivity thread. It was still very fast paced, but the ladies there were very understanding.

ControlGeek · 11/04/2016 14:26

sorry Miss Imps Grin

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/04/2016 14:39

Well you got past OTD woohoo geek What's the furthest you've got Before this?

I'm not sure if everything will change on the AN thread once everyone has had their 12 week Scans, but I could possibly be nearer 17 weeks by that time. But at the moment almost everyone is worrying about something!

Plus just knowing I can get an extra scan if I'm really worried is very reasuring. Also, except for her summer holiday, I should meet the same mw for every appointment which is really nice
