Extra heartbeats in your own heart, or the same heartbeat elsewhere Keep? I've had a fluttering heart from time to time too - I remember having it a couple of years ago and Dr Google telling me that it can be a sign of iron deficiency. I'm still struggling with green veg and meat, but there's iron in my supplements so can't see how it can be that.

Beedles how can you not take a selfie?!? Can you engage Mr B's assistance? Would love to see how your bump's getting on.

Any more bleeding Trix? Do you feel AF-y?

Had a really sick day yesterday and today looks like it's going to be the same. Hopefully my body's just making sure the first trimester ends with a bang and it will all stop next week. It would be nice to stop being sick.

Sorry for offloading about family issues last night - was feeling a little tired and emotional. I'm sure I make it worse because I'm so stubborn. We'll all get along fine I'm sure.

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 07:29

Oh and Keep - off tea Shock Some days it's the only thing that keeps me going. I LOVE TEA SO MUCH

BeedlesPineNeedles · 20/04/2016 08:04

well I tried with my pad but I couldn't hold it far enough away and reach to take the photo at the same time. I'll try with my phone later. anyway I have more bump bloat in the evenings!

imps don't worry about moaniing about your family, it must be really stressful to be worrying about how they will react. have you thought about emigrating?! - this is not why I moved!!

keepitgoing · 20/04/2016 08:39

So do I normally, it's odd!!

Yes, an extra heartbeat or sometimes a pause. I think I only notice it when lying down

Sorry v you're still feeling sick, so is my sil same weeks as me. Miserable!

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 09:34

I'm so glad all is well with your SIL's pregnancy Keep. Will be lovely for the 2 cousins to be the same age. Do you live close to them?

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 09:44

I emailed BH about whether they'd advise having another intralipid and they said that they do at around 12-13 weeks. So I'm booked in for Sat morning for my final one.

keepitgoing · 20/04/2016 10:00

That's great news!
They live about 3 hours away unfortunately, could be worse I guess. They are having a gender scan next week, are v impatient!

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 10:07

Remind me Keep - are you having a gender scan? I know that I will be desperate to find out but we won't I just bloody hope we get that far

keepitgoing · 20/04/2016 11:31

I want to find out at 20 weeks, dh doesn't (we didn't last time and we both liked not knowing) When kip was born she was put on my chest and after a bit the mw said 'shall we find out if it's a girl or boy', we had forgotten...

Of course you'll get that far. imps lovely please try and enjoy it now, as you know you are overwhelmingly likely to have a healthy, term, baby now.

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 11:55

I know Keep, I am enjoying my pregnancy even when I wee myself when vomming but it will take a very long time to completely remove the defences, if at all.

Love that you forgot to look at whether K was a boy or a girl Grin

ControlGeek · 20/04/2016 12:15

Oh imps that sounds so flipping hard with your family. As beedle says, just be firm and practice your responses. You will be a wonderful mum. I'm sorry the vomming hasn't left you alone yet, I hope it magically goes overnight and you can be free to enjoy the rest of your pg. Have you found anything that helps? I completely get your defences, I do so envy those people who sail through their pgs completely unaware of risks and percentages and take it all for granted that two lines at week 4 = baby at week 40 like I did with pg#1

beedle boo to the lack of bumpie, but I understand your problem. I can't take selfies very well either. I don't know how people do it. They must have been born with an extra thumb or something! Def get MrB's assistance, after all it will be a lovely record for you both to look back on.

keep that is soooo lovely that you forgot to even check! In true control geek style, MrG and I will be wanting to know asap, I think. It will all help with the 'believing it's really going to happen' process that we have yet to reach

I'm glad others have gone off coffee too. My mum said it was her first real sign that she was pg when she was having me. It happened around 5-6 weeks with my mmc, too, as did the nausea. With that pg, I was never actually sick, just increasingly nauseous, until I came off the hormones when I was waiting to mc. Oh boy did it all kick in then. I'm 5w4d today, so the timing is about right.

Yes beedle I'm waiting until Friday to book my scan for middle of next week. I'm still so paranoid that I'm only moving a day or two of meds into the bathroom at a time, still. I was even worried that requesting the clexane script was jinxing things, as I have nearly a fortnight's worth left.

Two more days and I'll have passed the point of both cps and my first mc. I love milestones :)

BeedlesPineNeedles · 20/04/2016 12:55

I just had a wipe of red blood (when i Went for a poo). Definitely from my fanjo but it looked really fresh, like I'd just cut myself, not slower moving dark period blood. Everthings going to be fine, right? I'm seeing the midwife tomorrow at 9 so at least I can get her to scan me.

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 13:13

Yes it is going to all be fine Beedles. Glad you have a MW appt to put your mind at ease.

ControlGeek · 20/04/2016 14:03

Oh beedle my lovely it's scary as hell but it will be ok. At least you have a nice early midwife appointment, and the option of a scan on request. If your cervix is a bit sensitive, sometimes having a poo can make it bleed a little so I'm brooking like mad that that's all it is.

cartoontrickster · 20/04/2016 14:18

Of course every thing is fine beedles and mw can confirm for you tomorrow.

geek you will pass your first milestone! And all the others.

imps fx the vomming buggers off soon. Situation with your family sounds complicated but yes stand your ground, it's your baby.

So today's pant checking news so far is minimal brown blood on wiping.
Other symptoms - bleeding gums and the pregnancy spot has arrived.

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 14:19

You do have a very sensitive cervix, Beedles. And you could have a low-laying placenta. The chances of it being anything bad are so slim.

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 14:22
cartoontrickster · 20/04/2016 14:44

I will make a trip to stock up on tests Fri or Sat.
I keep considering testing early but it's probably too soon. Plus I've promised dh I would wait.

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 14:55

Have you decided what to do about drugs?

cartoontrickster · 20/04/2016 15:09

I keep changing my mind! I think I need a chat with dh and maybe my mum. I m thinking but I might not even be pregnant. Trouble is if I leave it till I've tested and don't test early then it might be too late for the drugs too help.

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 15:24

Yes, do discuss with your mum and DH.

Just to add a thought, I didn't start any medication until I was 15 days post-ovulation. Early testing was useful to establish that it wasn't a chem, i.e the lines continued to get darker from 9 DPO. I don't think that starting drugs until after AF is due is necessarily a problem, but obviously it is only the clinic who'd be able to give any reliable advice about this.

cartoontrickster · 20/04/2016 15:26

I've also heard that he won't see you if your already pregnant, I guess that's for new patients. But would I count as a new one now? I'm pretty sure he insists on retesting for patients before each pregnancy.

Imps9 · 20/04/2016 15:28

You can but ask Trix.

cartoontrickster · 20/04/2016 15:29

Some meds he likes you to have from ov but I didn't with N so can't see that's a huge problem from my point of view. The first intralipid would be at around 4wks or as close as poss so I guess it would be ok if they can fit me in pretty quickly.

cartoontrickster · 20/04/2016 15:29

True I guess a little email to Cheryl can't hurt
