Hmmmmmm.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 23/02/2016 08:58

how is everyone today?

I have very slightly sore boobs when I poke them and possible slight cramps yesterday 9dpo today (no imps I haven't POAS yet!)

keepitgoing · 23/02/2016 09:43

That sounds promising beedle!

I'm OK, bit sicky, bit tired despite 9 hrs sleep... Am seeing the nurse at the gp tomorrow but I don't think it's the booking appt as isn't that with a MW? No clue, I was only in the uk from 24 weeks last time round.

Yes, where's mol??

Thanks trix, lovely to see you. How's n? Kip has a split personality at the moment, usually delightful but times of being a total horror!! I am quite an impatient person so prob not handling it the best!..

Pastamancer · 23/02/2016 10:21

Who told you you had to see the nurse Keep? At my GP they don't want to see you at all, you self refer to the MW and the GP isn't involved. I'm guessing things are a bit different with IVF. Booking appointment is with the MW and they take blood, bp, family history information, where you want to give birth and give you your notes. That normally happens at 8 weeks round here so that you are in the system to generate a 12 week scan appointment. We have booking appointments at the birth centre but all other appointments are at the GP surgery as the MW does a weekly clinic there. Booking appointments take a lot longer than normal antenatal ones which is why it is at the hospital.

Imps9 · 23/02/2016 10:58

Well according to the Law of Boob and the Law of Cramp you are certainly diffed Beedles.

I shall try to forgive you for not testing today.

keepitgoing · 23/02/2016 11:15

I rang the gp and they told me that's the process pasta, Hmm Nothing to do with ivf, I'm discharged. I'm 7+6 tomorrow. Assume I'll have to then see the mW in the next few weeks

keepitgoing · 23/02/2016 11:17

Remind me of otd beedle?
imps I'm assuming you've made up for her lack of testing. How are you doing? Are you on daily fragmin now?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 23/02/2016 11:27

OTD is 3/3 next thursday Shock I'm quite tempted to POAS at the weekend and then put it back in the box and not look at it at all until OTD. I want to know if I've had Another chem preg, but I think it could be easier than thinking yippee I'm pregnant, then damn no I'm not. It also gets around MrB not wanting me to test early. and whether I test or not I'm still going to be worried every time I go to the loo next week.

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 23/02/2016 11:55

Oh yes, what a crazy otd. I see your point and that's not a bad idea, though it'd be impossible not to look!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 23/02/2016 12:01

I thought maybe I'd put some electrical tape over the window on the peestick so I could only see the control line, and then give the peestick to MrB.

Imps9 · 23/02/2016 12:26

It's tricky isn't it Beedles? I suppose the key thing is whether you would actually want to know if you have another chem - would it affect your next steps? Would you see it as a positive step in the right direction? Or would you only feel really upset that it hadn't stuck? If a chem would not make a difference to what you do next and would only upset you, it is probably not worth testing before the OTD.

God, it's rock hard this 2ww palava isn't it.

Imps9 · 23/02/2016 12:30

Oh, and as for the risk of thinking "yippee I'm preg" only for it to end in a chem, I dare say that you will be only too aware of the possibility that it will not stick and won't allow yourself to celebrate too much if you do get a BFP. So don't let that notion put you off.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 23/02/2016 12:46

I Think I want to know to be able to use the information when trying to persuade the clinic that there could be something else wrong (not just old eggs and dodgy sperm).

And also as a reason to consider doing freeze all if we do Another fresh round - 0/6 embryos have implanted in fresh cycles at least 2/4 FET have implanted so far - this is FET no 5.

OP posts:
Imps9 · 23/02/2016 12:52

Then I think test at the weekend or before and look at the result.

keepitgoing · 23/02/2016 13:03

I agree, test

BeedlesPineNeedles · 23/02/2016 13:06

But I like the idea of "maybe" pregnant, its far less stressful than actually being pregnant, and much happier than not being pregnant. I'd stay maybe pregnant for 9 months if I could! :o

You just want me to test because you want to see some more peesticks :o

OP posts:
Imps9 · 23/02/2016 13:09

I don't know where you get that idea Beedles - I hate peesticks and all the other Brookers do too.

Yes, "maybe pregnant" is a nice status.

cartoontrickster · 23/02/2016 13:33

beedle we can be testing buddies if you test over weekend, just saying......
How are you feeling today imps?
N is good thanks keep I cannot believe he is two. He is a sweetheart (most of the time).
I've been feeling a bit sickly the past few days, not sure why

Imps9 · 23/02/2016 13:49

You are diffed Trix, that is why.

Am feeling fine thanks. Got a 2-3 weeks on a CB digi yesterday which seems to mean that my hcg is above 200. Am 5 weeks today according to LMP but 4+5 going by ov dates. So far so good, just got to go with the flow but keep hoping for the best.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 23/02/2016 13:57

So quick catch, so that's pasta, beedle and trix diffed now then lol

Imps am getting excited for you, this is the most pregnant you've ever been?! When do you have a scan?

So by complete lack of cervical mucus yesterday I think I must have ovulated on Sunday, so not many hours after the positive OPK!

So will be 14 dpo on Mothers Day... Hoping that's a sign...

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 23/02/2016 13:57

Catch up that should read...

Imps9 · 23/02/2016 13:59

I MC'd at 6 weeks in Sept 2014 Loops so not hit a new PB yet!

You too are diffed - don't miss yourself off the list!

cartoontrickster · 23/02/2016 14:01

Early on set of morning sickness is probably the best explanation.
Just a day at a time imps brilliant that your digital says 2-3, I'm always a bit scared of them in case it doesn't say the right num of weeks! Forgive me I can't remember what the furthest along you've gotten previously?

cartoontrickster · 23/02/2016 14:03

X post. So 6wks.
How do you know if it's a chem rather than a very early mc? Dh asked me the diff recently and I didn't really know.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 23/02/2016 14:09

I was told by a doctor anything before 5 weeks is a chemical. Think this view varies depending on which NHS person you see though...
