Dunlin that test certainly looks positive!!!! But I know that blue dye tests are notorious for giving false results. If I were you I would go grab yourself some FRERs and do one later today tomorrow morn.
Tentative congratulations though cos that line looks blue to me! X

Dunlin that looks like a positive to me! As Rose says though, get yourself a FRER to confirm. Congratulations, Clomid is awesome!

Nurse15 · 26/03/2016 08:05

Ah dunlin!! Hope it's positive! I can defs see a line. Tell us the outcome when you get a frer! Excited for you

Dunlin1987 · 26/03/2016 08:11

Thanks everyone!! I am not getting myself too worked up yet as I know life can be a real bitch sometimes. Will get a few FRERS and will let you know later! Xxx

Shellbell0403 · 26/03/2016 08:31

Happy Easter weekend ladies

Shellbell0403 · 26/03/2016 08:33

Dunlin congrats... Keep us posted and fingers crossed!! Xx

DrewOB1 · 26/03/2016 10:30

I thought you could get false negative but not false positives?
Fingers crossed!

bananafish81 · 26/03/2016 10:42

Tentative but very excited congratulations dunlin! Thanks

RoseBud2016 · 26/03/2016 10:59

Drew I think it's more the case that the blue dye tests are more common for evap lines! Whereas FRERs don't seem to have that problem.

Ladies I need help!! I feel absolutely shocking!!

Headaches, icky feeling, sore stomach, dizzy feeling.. 5dpo
Xx

bananafish81 · 26/03/2016 13:32

Shell sorry you're feeling rubbish. I think it's deeply unlikely to be related to ovulation as any ovulation pain is generally one sided and very short lived. If doesn't sound like you're very well but I'm not sure if this has any relation to the Femara and having ovulated? It's also far too early to be early pregnancy symptoms as implantation won't occur till 6-9 dpo and hCG levels won't start rising till implantation has occurred. Hope you're feeling better soon. If you're concerned I would dial 111 or see an out of hours GP if you think it's urgent

RoseBud2016 · 26/03/2016 15:46

Shell Hate to say it but I started feeling like that at the beginning of the week... By Weds I was in bed with full blown flu! Only starting to feel slightly better today. There are a lot of bugs going around at the mo. I hope I'm wrong but that's what I think it might be- sorry!

So just been to boots to get a couple of FRERS and tested now (could not wait any longer) I have drank a fair bit of water today so I guess the results wouldn't be as good but went ahead anyway. This was the result...faint again but still a double line! I will check again in morning.

Thanks ladies.. I know it's still early regarding it all.. Just feel really pants. When I say sore stomach it's like crampy feelings..

Still a time to go before test anyways, just feel so rotten

RoseBud2016 · 26/03/2016 19:29

Dunlin now there's no mistaking that BFP! Congrats!

Congratulations! Around 5 days left to wait here :( though I think I ovulated 1 week late, so who knows.

Shellbell0403 · 27/03/2016 17:28

Drew how you feeling? Iv got another 8/9 days to wait... Any symptoms? Xx

Dunlin1987 · 27/03/2016 18:10

Thanks everyone. Won't believe it till I see a scan. Don't want to get too excited.

Shellbell and drew are you trying naturally? Sorry have not caught up over the last month.

Shellbell0403 · 27/03/2016 18:33

Dunlin I'm on my second cycle of Letrozole.. Blood test on Tues to check ovulation!

How are you?

Dunlin1987 · 27/03/2016 18:51

Was you ovulating before? Does it work like Clomid? Really have my fingers crossed for you. The wait after is awful!

I am fine just very anxious. Xxx

Shellbell0403 · 27/03/2016 19:23

I thought I was but they had never proven it before... Because they were scanning me and measuring etc they said they could see that they though I had but need to do blood tests now...
Yeh Letrozole is the same... But less side effects and less risk of multiples.
Thank you! I hope it happens soon.. Never wanted anything more in my life! The wait is the worst and trying not to symptom spot! Haha

Aww don't be anxious I'm sure it will all be fine and you will get s shiny clear positive :) are you taking vitamins etc? Did you fall natural?

Dunlin1987 · 27/03/2016 19:54

I had never heard of it before! I am shocked they don't use that instead of Clomid if it has less side effects etc.

I don't ovulate naturally so went onto Clomid and first month it has worked!!

bananafish81 · 27/03/2016 19:57

Letrozole isn't licensed for ovulation induction in the UK so it's unusual to be prescribed it, as the Dr has to prescribe it off label

I wasn't aware of any reduced risk of multiples vs clomid as it's used as part of mild IVF protocols to encourage multiple follicles to grow. It's often prescribed instead of clomid in the US because it doesn't thin the lining like clomid can.
