My main follicle was 2.2 (22mm) so over the requirement. Yeh if you get EWCM means ovulating/ovulated. Will check my temp in the morning and see what that says. Normally have more cm but hardly any this cycle! Aww lovely 😀 I'm sure she will be a big sis soon!xx

I never get any kind of discharge at all unfortunately, so no idea what my body is ever up to. Aah right I get you, well my follicle was 13mm on day 10 and the nurse said that kind of fell in line with clomid working, as she said follicles grow between 1mm-2mm a day, so she felt i'd ov either today, tomorrow or Wed. That remains to be seen, but I certainly haven't today according to my OPK's. Is this your first cycle of clomid?

I have lots of regrets when it comes to my early days with DD. I had crippling PND and just took every bit of motherhood for granted. Always felt there'd be a next time to "do it better" Bloody hell, how wrong I was.

Heya! AF is finished, I have ovary pain and breasts. I think GP to try get a scan for potential cyst.

Ladies, can anyone advise?

So, took my 50mg clomid as instructed from day 2 to 6. Started ov tests with Boots tests and also my clearblue advanced fertility monitor from day 6. I'm on day 15 and there's been no positive on either test, in fact the lines are getting much lighter now (nothing really there today) The lines were at their strongest on Sunday (day 12) but still not strong enough to warrant a positive (machine said high, like it has done since day bastard 6)

When I had my scan on day 10, nurse said it was likely i'd ovulate between Mon and Wed (day 13-16) So now, I feel like i'm in limbo. Is it likely the clomid hasn't worked, or is it possible that both tests haven't detected a strong enough LH surge but i've still ovulated?

This is so stressful, especially given that I can't have any more scans to see what's going on, I just have to hope for the best. I hate the not knowing, I need to know if i've fucking ovulated or not. Rang the nurse yesterday and they couldn't care less, they have my money now and aren't interested. She was extremely vague as usual and said ring back in a few days.

Village I would say that opks aren't very reliable... or maybe you have just ovulated slightly after? Today is only wed stay positive!! Have you had any EWCM?

Well been for scan shows that I have ovulated... woohoo... BUT my lining has went down to 5.5 😟 They said that can happen after ovulation though. Feel like I'm fighting a losing battle and them changing my dosage is like catch 22

So what does that mean Shell? That even if you are pregnant it couldn't implant? Were you using opk's & did you get positive results?

I have no idea what it means Village. No I don't really use the strips. They done an internal scan today and no follicles there and some liquid showing which indicated ovulation. To go for a blood test on Monday xx

village what are the different categories on your monitor? I use strips now cos they're cheap but have never had a positive. When I was ttc dd (who coincidentally is also about to turn 7!) i used the ones that are either blank or a smiley. Maybe you have ovulated but the monitor didn't pick it up? What is your next move, more scans? Tests?
shell does changing the dosage affect the lining then? This is all another world to me! Are you giys private or nhs?

I really admire all of you who have the strength for the blood tests, ov testing, scans etc. How do you manage with everyday life and working?

Ladies, advice needed please.

CD#5, about to take 4th dose of clomid at bedtime.
Charted my temperatures from CD#2. These have been all over the place:

Cd2- 36.12
Cd3- 36.10
Cd4- 36.35
Cd5- 35.65

Is it normal for the temp to bounce around like that? Am I doing it right? What am I doing wrong?

Could it be the clomid, I am also still looking after AF which had 3 days of 'why bother' brown stains and so far 2 days of quite heavy flow with strong crampingsense.

Mysterious u have no idea whether the reduction has affected the lining.. I think it might have!! When on the higher dose it was above 7.5. I Googled it though and it said for Ivf needs to be above 7.5..
I'm on NHS!!

Drew my work gives me time off for it, every month for about a week to 2 weeks! It's tough going but just need to get on with it I suppose. How are you doing?

Amy are you charting before get up in the morning and same time etc? You get a dip after ovulation.

The lining compacts under the influence of progesterone post ovulation. It's supposed to get thinner. The thickness pre ovulation is the one that they're talking about. Thickness post ovulation doesn't matter.

shell I'm temping in the morning, usually when I wake up its the first thing I do. Up out of bed and temp. The time I wake up has altered slightly but it's usually around 6-7am apart from one day when it was 9am.

I'm only on CD#6, after a norethisterone bleed. Took a PG test prior to starting it and ending it. On my last dose of clomid tonight.

I wondered the same as drew. Do you ladies tell work the reason or just say its a medical thing? I'm a bit worried about it as I start a new job soon and so worry about the reasons for time off etc. How much time are we talking? An hour once a week? A couple of hours a couple of times a week? I am a planner lol I like to know these things.
amy i might have misread your post but when i was temping i understood that you had to do it before you got up, so kust reach over to grab thermometer and take temp. Maybe that explains the jumping, but I'm by no means an expert on it so I could be wrong!

mysterious i told my department manager & manager as she went through it herself and understands and auth the apps! Mine is a couple of hours a week, three times a week for maybe a wee and a half every month. Depends on tje way your treatment goes?
