CD1 for me today and as I have quite long cycles, I will be missing February altogether.

My stats are:

ETD: 1 March onwards

At brand are you using? I use One Step (Internet cheapies) and they have to be read at five minutes.

You're right - the test line has to be "darker than a priest's socks" to be valid. Personally I find mine go gradually darker over a couple of days before the positive result. Ov happens the day after.

Just catching up with the thread! We're not sure what to do about a holiday either, had to admit to a friend that we are trying as he was trying to get us to go camping with him in the summer, given that we were only saying a month ago that we'd love to go with him he knew something was up!

It's ov week for me so we're doing eod as we have been so far, I'm doing a long day today and an overnight on Friday so luckily we're able to time it well enough! We usually DTD once a month so this is fun but tiring!

Ive booked to go to Crete in August, im happy to go pregnant, and if i fall this cycle ill be 27 weeks when we go so its not too bad. Also going away in 4 weeks so ill be okay for then too.

writer sorry dear don't use opks hun but best advice i can give is dtd at least eod till your lines show up on specified time and are dark enough fx

Thanks mimi - I did an OPK this morning (photo included) and the lines appear darker. I started a new thread in Conception about it and one poster said it was definitely positive!!

We DTD last Friday, the Monday just gone and we will be doing it tonight too

I'm hoping that doing it 5 nights and 2 nights pre-ovulation and then on the night of ovulation will be enough!!

It's really great to follow all your posts and not feel like I'm completely on my own going into this! Looking forward to getting my coil out and cracking on with ttc. Bit concerned about level stress I've been under at work having an impact on success, but I'm trying to cut back on my workload now I've got a major deadline out of the way! Hi guys hope you're all ok and to see bfps soon. I'm on cd7 and just bought seven seas trying for baby. Has anyone had these? Can you recommend them? Also bought decaf coffee to try and curb my addiction healthy eating gone well today. Trying to be positive.

tabutha I know what you mean about work stress. I feel stressed every time I'm at work :( really trying to just let it go and accept there's no pleasing everyone!

Well we're definitely DTD tonight and then there's not much I can do as I'm away from home on Thursday night.

Looks like I will be entering the TWW. The annoying thing is that on the date on which I would plan on testing my DH is abroad! In fact, he will be abroad for 8 days and I'm not sure I can hold out not testing for that long.....

Writer my DH was working away when I was due to test when I was pg with DS so I tested over FaceTime. It's something we'll always remember! Then DH had to have dinner with his colleagues and he told them because he was so excited!

Are we allowed to admit to doing really lame things on here???

On the off chance of being lucky enough to get pregnant this time round I have bought DS a t-shirt with "(DS's name) is going to be a big brother!!" on the front of it and I envisage testing whilst DH is away, getting a positive and then sending him a photo of DS wearing the t-shirt

I was driving behind a car today whose last part of the registration plate was BFP - that's got to be a good sign?!

I'm chilling out with half an Easter egg, a glass of 7Up, post DTD and I'm feeling very excited about symptom spotting

Writer Fx for you, DD was a surprise and the baby i lost was conceived on first cycle. My body doesn't want another one by the looks of it :(

I really struggle to keep up with this thread!

I so want hula hoops and niknaks now. Having to settle for Crimbles cheese bites, which are amazing but not quite like hula hoops.

I got a smiley face on my Ov test this morning, DH was home until 10 but wasn't up for DTD TBF to him I wasn't feeling it either, had to do the pet food order and spent a long time comparing dried shrimps/mealworms/blood worms/etc which is hardly conducive to horny feelings!

He'll be home later so hopefully that'll be enough unless I can get him awake in the morning, though given that I'll struggle to wake myself I'm not sure that I will! I leave at 6:30am tomorrow and won't be home until late Saturday, the timing this month sucks a bit!

writer I saw a car with a BFP plate earlier in the week too and had a similar thought!

Can anyone give any advice? I've just started taking penicillin and a high dose of ibuprofen for tonsillitis is it still safe to ttc this month? I'm a few days away from my fertile window, but the leaflet for the ibuprofen says to speak to a doctor if ttc.
