Hey all. Completely new to both the site and ttc! Came off the pill in the summer and been tracking with a fertility app since then. Dtd this week and then testing end of Jan.

Wasn't expecting it to feel like such a big deal really with it being our first month, but it really does. Guessing that's normal...!?

Hi Irregular welcome and good luck! Yup it's a big deal even at the start, you are gonna be constantly thinking about it. I'm six months Trying to conceive our second bambino, took a year to get preggers first time around so I'm just hoping it isn't longer this time!

So much has happened while I've been at work! Just leaving now and I've been buoyed by the lovely news that my SIL has just given birth to her first. So excited for her. My DH was as well and text me saying 'we should get one...'.

Hello lovely ladies, is there room for another one? I thought I should probably join rather than be a creeper reading about other people's CM without volunteering any details of my own...

Once AF buggers off tomorrow we should hopefully be into our second month of TTC #1. I think I got a little bit POAS-happy last month which I totally blame on it being our first month of trying and I promise this this month I'll be better and wait until AF is due on 7 Feb. Maybe.

lisa congratulations on the new addition! I've been noticing pregnancy sooo much more recently. Doesn't help it's been slapping me in the face in the form of BOTH of my cousins being pregnant (one due in 2 weeks, the other announced at christmas) and me irrationally getting anxious over the thought of them naming their babies the same names I have picked out

Choc Sorry to hear you still don't have a definate answer, if HCG is below 4, than they would say it's negative, so don't lose hope! Does your local hospital have an early pregnancy unit? They are usually the experts with interpreting HCG levels, so hopefully your GP is speaking to them! Could you ask for a repeat blood test so they can compare levels as it should be rising if you are pregnant.

I think AF is imminent, have been cranky for the last few days and today woke up feeling very crampy, had some brownish discharge and a bit of spotting this evening. CD 41 today, so seems like i can finally get this damn cycle over with and get on with the next one!

I almost devoured an entire tube of jelly tots tonight...also raided my Dds tub of Xmas choc....bad mummy and going to bed feeling sick again due to my over consumption of sweets,this point in the month is just so much fun!!

Starky - omg how good are those aldi biscuits! I totally want some now u have mentioned them haha!!

I took full advantage of AF to eat copious amounts of raw cookie dough when I was baking chocolate chip cookies for work last night. I'm pretty sure that biscuits are the only thing that make TTC bearable.

Me and oh have dts for a ciple days now and still got 2 days to go til ovulation but it's unbelievable how much i want to be pg!! But i need to stop my crazy thoughts (dreams as well ha ha) im due to test on 28th jan so im holding hope.for this month :)
