29, TTC #1, Cycle #4, CD25, 10dpo so still on the January bus.

Haven't been on the pill for about 9 years and my cycle is a very regular 28 days. POAS a couple of times already this week - BFNs obviously. Trying to make myself wait until Saturday to do it again but know I will cave .

Drink, 38 TTC #1 cycle 2 CD 14, 2dpo.
Test date 23rd apparently - 3 days after af is due. There is NO way I will be able to wait that long!

So excited to be joining this thread! My name is Denise, 33 from Glasgow. I have been with my husband since I was 17 and married for 7 years. Only now are we in a position to be able to TTC.

Feeling concerned about my age and my husband had an undescended testicle as a child. Fingers firmly crossed that this will happen for us. Excited to be on the journey!

2 days late and still no AF. I do have pcos but cycles have been pretty regular lately. No pregnancy symptoms at all (and I should know what to look out for as I'm a midwife lol).
Wondering if cycle has gone a bit haywire due to the stress of a bereavement.

I've just been hit with a big fat cold plus AF so I'm currently on the couch with a lemsip watching a Netflix series with DH. No wonder I've been tired and miserable the last few days!
As I said before I really would try to hold out to test until at least your period is due and ignore what ovia tells you about testing, don't waste your money or turn psychotic like I did!

I'm back! Well according to Dh my personality has been all over the place this week! I told him it's likely to be pms! We sat down and I explained all about the birds and the bees or rather the sperm and the egg this morning, I think he has a slightly better grasp on it now! Although at least twice I caught him glazing over! In the end he went "RIGHT! Enough now! Let's just have sex please!" To shut me up!

Ahahaha let's hope he retains it this time Starky. Aren't they lucky to have us?! Imagine if the men were in charge of monitoring fertility! There goes the human race!!

I had to laugh earlier...after my "I'm not optimistic this month" "I'm not testing before AF due" I finally had light cramps today and all reason went out the window "ooh I might be pregnant! Must test!!". I resisted and have calmed down again! Just comparing every symptom on Ovia to my symptoms last month...just in case it's different I very much doubt I'm upduffed

Good stuff harrietm87 we can put off testing together! Ha ha. February seems such a long way off!

Littlebelle, 25, TTC#1, cycle #5, CD 22/27. Ovia said I could be testing already but going to leave it till maybe Thursday once my sticks arrive in the post. Had lots of different symptoms before AF since coming off the patch. But this month, lots of creamy cm and sore boobs (which I never get) so FX.

I forgot to share my lovely symptoms which may well be AF symptoms which really annoys me - boobs seems to have grown overnight (busting out of my normal clothes so I wonder if people think I've had a boob job over the break !!), lower back pains, cramps that move from stretching-cramps to AF-like cramps so quite confusing

3 more days to test soooooo tempted to do tonight!!! Someone stop me!!!

Same here lillian ... plus dizzy spells, I've actually gone up a whole cup size, metallic taste in my mouth, random nausea, can't face coffee or certain food smells, AF type lower back cramps, small pulling best way I can describe it behind belly button, now distinct lack of CM... mega fatigue, hotter than usual, and probably some stuff I've not remembered too!!

choc I was on mini pill. Came off a few months ago. Took a couple of month to get a regular cycle back and it was a very light period for a few months. Don't remember any pregnancy symptoms but we weren't Ttc then so I wouldn't have been looking for them.

Don't do it Lillian!! I tested 3 days early, spent £30 and went insane, my AF arrive right on time. Wait until your period is due definitely! Fx for you

However we've had a couple of faint positive tests but 2 negative in the past week. Chemical pregnancy sprung to mind but I've had no bleed and no sign of one. So I'm having a blood test on Friday...

lillian don't test tonight, do it with fmu when you wake up. The wee is more concentrated so hands of a bfp are more likely.

I'm also not testing because all of my symptoms are fairly standard for me the week before af. I am MUCH more weepy than normal though. There was an old man proper old boy with a flat cap and a cane choosing pick and mix sweeties into a paper bag in the market today and I swear I teared up, I actually had to walk off because I was about to start bawling! Dh was a bit concerned "babe...are you feeling alright? It's just, you're grinning a lot and look a bit...erm...Mental." I think he's a bit worried I'm having some kind of hormonal breakdown!

Day 8 of Cycle 2 ttc#1 here, I took soy isoflavones days 3-7 and am looking forward to seeing if they do anything to help! I'm also temping/charting so I can get a better idea of the state of things. Am 37 so getting on a bit and am worried my eggs are too decrepit, along with the rest of me!

28 years old. DH 38.
TTC#1 since coming off pill end of aug.
CD19 of approx 26/27 day cycle (been different every month)
had +ve OPKS from 27th December until 29th. Am worried didn't carry on dtd long enough (how long after +ve OPK does ovulation occur?? I thought about 12-24 hrs but have just read it could be 3 days.)

AF due next weds.

Stark waiting for your test result is like when some lesser-down-the-alphabet-of-celebrities tell the world/daily mail they are pregnant at about 4 weeks and it feels like they are pregnant for years. I feel like I've been waiting for your stick photo for at least a month already! (In a good way...I'm just impatient! Haha!)

choc your situation sounds so confusing!! I am sure I have read about pregnant women getting false negatives before. You sound extremely pregnant - I hope Friday comes quickly for you so you get your answer!

kat that made me lol! Believe me I feel the same! I'm now channelling Kim Kardashian from first lh surge/positive okp to af if she arrives on time will be 24 days! I'm sooo ready to test! But I'm not going to! Not yet! And I predict im going to disappoint you all infinitely with a bfn! Which is probably why I'm holding off testing so I can just say 'af is here' and not do everyone's head in!
