lauren there is a possibility I will head down to the doctors tomorrow and thrust a specimen tube up the Dr's left nostril. The midwife was supremely unconcerned and was like noooo just call me 2 days before, it's not that unusual. She also added if the level was under a certain amount they would have told me a definitive no. head-totally-fucked

CD5 today and I've noticed very gentle cramping! Am I feeling my follicles maturing? Never felt that before! Has anyone else? Back on the opks nice and early -I'm going to pee on them regularly this month-will try some afternoon ones in work (how?!) on my fertile week-i want some sort of a positive on a stick, whatever stick it is!!

Me - well I'm CD24ish and today's symptoms/pms are
*eating everything in site! And I'm still hungry
*mild cramping all day
*feel a bit bloated and tight

In short all my usual pre af things!

At least it sounds like you have a nice midwife choc. I once checked someone hcg levels in work(not a usual part of my job) there was a clear range.

skip it's not unusual for me to have that, I get ridiculously heavy periods for the first two/three days and then it tails off. Of its your first in a few years I'd expect you have quite a light one though.

Stark so you're not quite out yet! Anything good in Aldi? I get a bit lost in the "shit-in-the-middle" even when I only pop in for cheese. End up leaving with an electric whisk, draft excluder, miniature tool box and a pot plant. Normally get so distracted I forget the cheese.

I am officially hopping on to the February bus. I hope there is a lot of wine and chocolate over there as this party isn't over yet. Feeling pooped but also have an extra month to try and get healthy minus the first week of eating all the chocolate and wine and cheese one week of being healthy and then two weeks of stressing out so comforting self by eating all the cheese and wine.

kat were lucky because we have a reasonably sized one up the road so I set Dh off with the trolley and I run around getting stuff off the shelves (it's a bit like supermarket sweep) but he walks so slowly, you'd literally have to shove a firework up his arse to get him to rush, but by the time I'm done, he's usually at the end, so he doesn't get shifty that I'm procrastinating and I can do a proper shop! They do proper German bratwurst in there which are my absolute favourite!

runner ill tell Dh to have a word with it next time he's down there you'll all hear the echo I've got properly creamy cm too, and I think my cervix might be high, but I've not been checking it adequately so I really haven't got a scooby! Aah, well, we'll soon know one way or the other depending on what comes out of it!

I've just been for another look at the now completely invalid test. And it could be a super faint squinter or an epic evap, my money's still on evap, but to satiate you all, if no af by morning, ill test again.

I've just treated myself to some Amazon OPK and pregnancy tests for about a fiver. Relieved the pregnancy tests are unlikely to be delivered much before 20th so will make it easier to resist testing. I've got a FRER but it's too expensive to use, haha!

Ok, it was my birthday yesterday and we've been away for a few days. Looks like I've missed so much!
