Elle I'm not eating soy in any form, mainly as I hate it. I have used soy sauce though. No tofu or soy milk or edamame. Trying to eat clean, lots of veg and Grass fed meats, free range eggs, full fat dairy. Not losing weight much but my body seems to like eating too much lol even of the healthy stuff. Last cycle I used pro-gest cream from 3dpo to af and my literal phase went from 8-10 days to a whopping and perfect 14. With the addition of soy isoflavones 3-7 I'm now at cd12 with no ovulation yet, last month I ovulated by now. My hope is that the cream and the soy isoflavones will improve my cycles as my last 2 years have ranged 17-33 days with no predictable pattern. Last cycle was my first ever 14 day lp although the cycle itself was 25 days. This cycle is panning out to be longer than 25 days and hopefully with a lovely 14 day lp after a good strong ovulation. Fingers crossed! This ttc thing is such a crapshoot I just feel better if I know I'm doing what I can to provide the best case scenario iyswim. We are also using preseed to help the swimmers along. It's very good, I love it Blush

leonie that snarky AF showed up like clockwork today Sad

kate please kick me unceremoniously from the top of the January bus at 9th Jan all the way to the bottom of the Feb bus at 11th Feb. feeling like a right fool reading AF symptoms as something more. Damn them for being such close cousins grrrrr

On the other hand guiltlessly enjoyed runny eggs (the only way really), medium-rare steak and 3 coffees today. sometimes silver linings are delicious!

All the best for those still on the January bus!!!

Snowdog37 · 09/01/2016 20:58

I don't think there's anything wrong with using soy sauce as there's not much soy in it? I just don't like soy food/milk and I hear it's not great in helping with fertility. Soy isoflavones are different in some way.

I'm 37, soon to be 38. Never had a baby, but never properly tried to have one. No oops conceptions either though. So we are trying by ourselves with natural assistance until our endocrinologist appointment in a couple of months.

Chocaholic88 · 09/01/2016 21:05

Aww sorry AF has caught you lillian

I've had mid day nausea again today... managed to face food tonight though. I've eaten my body weight in pizza, chicken and wedges and I'm not sorry 😂😂

KatOnATinRo0f · 09/01/2016 21:08

First I haven't heard of Angus castus... Can you tell me more about it?

Snowdog37 · 09/01/2016 21:08

That sounds delish Choc! I'm a huge pizza fan, it's the perfect food.

KatOnATinRo0f · 09/01/2016 21:10

Runner05 · 09/01/2016 21:15

Lol, just you wait ladies. Once you get to 6 weeks you won't care what you're eating as long as it doesn't make you puke!!!

Sorry for AF Lil

Runner05 · 09/01/2016 21:16

Kat nope, steak has to be bloodless sadly but runny eggs are ok if they have a little lion on them.

KatOnATinRo0f · 09/01/2016 21:17

Runner!!! Long time no see?!? (Or I missed it as there's so much on here to read!)
How's it all going??

Runner05 · 09/01/2016 21:24

Hey Kat I have been lurking and keeping and eye on you ladies but you all seem to be doing fine without my two cent Wink

I'm ok, morning sickness is in full swing. I have to admit that after about 5 days of non-stop feeling sick I just sat down on the bath mat and sobbed until I was bored of sobbing and my butt hurt from sitting on the floor. Thus is the glamorous world of upduffedness Confused

KatOnATinRo0f · 09/01/2016 21:27

Runner stop showing off Wink

drinkyourmilk · 09/01/2016 21:28

I've just finished a rare steak with runny poached egg. Bloody lovely!!!!!

Runner05 · 09/01/2016 21:30

Lol, nah if I was showing off I'd tell you that on top of the all day feeling sick you also end up with sleep deprivation through having to get up to pee half a dozen times every night. And the irony that the moment you pee you're dehydrated so you have to drink and then half an hour later you need to pee again. Confused vicious circle!

KatOnATinRo0f · 09/01/2016 21:32

I'm just kidding runner. It sounds horrible but you know there's about 25 of us here who would love to be having those problems right now!

KatOnATinRo0f · 09/01/2016 21:35

Drink now you are showing off!!
I had runny eggs and tuna earlier. And two coffees. And a glass of wine.
Although just at a friends and her husband was asking when I was gong to be pregnant as they are going to be trying soon and a bit of me panicked that she will be preggo first

Runner05 · 09/01/2016 21:37

Lol, I know, and we can't wait for the rest of you to get upduffed misery loves company just enjoy those rare streaked and sneaky glasses of wine while you can. And when you do get upduffed make the most of the first couple of weeks before shit gets real WinkThanks

Runner05 · 09/01/2016 21:38

My phone apparently does not like steak and keeps trying to change it to a bizarre assortment of other words! Confused

KatOnATinRo0f · 09/01/2016 21:51

Evergreen15 · 09/01/2016 22:37

Elle what is this nappy service I knew nothing about!!!!SmileSmileSmile
Oh my! There is already so much to learn about TTC and then I fear there is sooooo much more to research once the baby is here
How did our mums manage without google??!!!!!

Confused

Snow thanks for the info. I thought you meant soy as in soy milk, and I had switched to almond milk and I was wondering Smile I obviously need to learn lots more from you ladies! Grin

drinkyourmilk · 09/01/2016 22:43

I was a nanny for years. So know I'll be using a sling and cloth nappies as I've done it before.

ElleSarcasmo · 09/01/2016 22:47

Thanks Snow, that is interesting.

Sorry about AF Lilian.

You're not out yet Kat!

Sorry to hear you're feeling crappy Runner, hopefully it will pass soon and you can get on with being excited again! Do you have your first scan booked yet?

Evergreen, this was a friend of a friend. They were in Bath I think-it might be a bit dependent on where you live. Genius idea though!

AliceScarlett · 09/01/2016 22:48

Apparently peas along with soy are also natural contraceptives Confused

Is tuna a mercury thing?

Ovia just told me my CM means I'm entering my fertile window Shock

Evergreen15 · 09/01/2016 22:57

SadSadSadSad
So I met my friend and she told me (news) that she has been TTC for a year and everything seems ok but it is not happening for her.
I am all like well dont worry, it can take a long time blah blah. She was pretty sad as our other friends have bebes already.

Then we go for dinner with the other girls and OF COURSE!!!!! This other friend goes oh I can't drink the wine and I cant eat this and that... ConfusedConfused
She is pregnant AGAIN. So I sat there looking at my other friend who was trying not to release the Niagara falls and I thought wtf some people just look at DH and are upduffed!

This is a bit of a lottery and I guess we just need to keep on playing and supporting each other here! SmileGrin
