choc what an absolute bugger test was delayed.... Hang in there! I am very fortunate that my clinic opens 7 days a week and get bloods back within a couple hours... Not that I have ever made it to be tested for bfp

choc is it worth doing another FRER or digi? When was the last time you tested? X

Hi Lisa, it does seem like ages doesn't it? Excited to be cycle buddies! It is hard trying to hide the crazy, DH jaw dropped when I opened a box of 90 OPKs and 20 pg tests yesterday!
Bugmuncher it would be great if you were our testing buddy too but I hope for your sake that your cycle doesn't drag on for 40 days!

Ooooh you guys! That made me chuckle! Well! Nowt yet on the bfp front, but neither are we bfn either! My boobs however are KILLING ME! I've honestly not been so acutely aware of them for years! They are sooo tender and sore! Reckon af is on schedule though. There was a fault on our Internet from half 4 yesterday afternoon! (They're building a guided bus route about 300 from my house so I feel like somebody may have drilled though a wire they weren't supposed to! But I am back! And I still haven't tested! I had two pregnancy announcements done at me yesterday, one of them I'm genuinely pleased for, the other, I don't like her and I'm not pleased for!

Choc you're so right, there isn't anything you can actually do, and you're doing so well!

Have some OPKs in my Amazon basket...but I can't decide whether to spend my hard earned cash on CB dual hormone or just to go for cheapies? Any thoughts?

Right, I'm off to eat copious soft boiled eggs topped of with more alcohol than would be advisable, finished off with Camembert and crackers. Me and AF are semi friends this month. Next. Time round I might not be so kind to her!

bugmuncher I did two Internet cheapies with mid day urine (after holding for almost 4 hours) yesterday and got nothing!

Co, I'd stay with cheapies. I've gone through tons over the last week and it would have cost a fortune. My last one was very clear it was positive so I'm confident it's accurate. Just have to be more patient than I was!

Awww co5mo I hope you're happy! Now I'm going to have to get up out of my nice warm bed and go make boiled eggs! That's so your fault! I may have a bath first! I'm feeling leisurely today! (Read an article the other day saying that if eggs have the lion mark on them, then preggy women can have them soft boiled! Because it means that the chicken was given the injection for listeria, so they're safe!)

This is true choc I had a weird stabby pain in my middle lower stomach yesterday for a few seconds, then again for another few seconds. I actually caught myself thinking 'implantation?' Then I farted loudly so it was more likely that it was wind! Especially given the boob pain, and cramps. I'm reckoning af will arrive Monday, maaaaaybe tommorow given the insomnia and sore throat which again, is common for me prior to af'

co5mo I would go fir rhe cheapies and maybe a CB LH digital one for confirmation of positives (not dual). The dual one in my opinion is a bit of a pain. But that might be because I have no idea when I might ovulate!

Lmao stark I had that on the 30th (minus the wind) along with some EWCM with a hairline of blood through... had it the previous day too... odd!

Today I feel like I'm burning up every time I feel nauseous. --it had just passed then someone knocked the door and I had to run down from our bedroom (top floor) all the way down 2 flights of stairs to the door... now back on the bed feeling icky! Also had a sore throat since yesterday but not enough to make me think I'm ill!

Co5mo I am going to go against the grain and recommend the dual hormone digi from clear blue. I haven't had a positive before but got a flashing smiley on Thursday and then solid smiley yesterday so feel much more confident about ovulation now and getting a better idea of why my cycles can be 30+ days

jam good positive. It's so obvious when it is. Just wishful thinking the rest of the time. Bit frustrated that no positive yet. CD16 today. My shortest cycle post-pill was 32 days so was hoping for a positive around now (my opk was positive 16 days before AF last time). Fingers crossed for a positive this week.

Well, af has two days to show up otherwise I'm testing on Tuesday first thing! Unless my body does that thing where it waits unil an hour so just eniugh time to fret, wonder nd scrutinise said test after I've tested and then decides to open Satan's floodgates of doom like it did last month when we weren't even trying and I was a week late, a WEEK, I ask you!? Is that a reasonable thing for a body to do?!

He's still doing the Donald Duck in bed elle definetly start okp's today, then you have more data to obsess over info about your cycle.

Elle Good luck with the OPKs. I'm going to order some as soon as AF arrives unless I happen to be pregnant this month. Very very early into the 2WW - 11 days until test day (if I don't crack and test sooner).

Are we not allowed soft boiled eggs when pregnant? I hate hard boiled eggs :( ... How hard do they have to be to be considered safe? Is there allowed to be any dipping capability at all??

Re OPKs, I've been quite happy with my ICs, used them last month and got a clear increase then decrease in the strength of the test line. Those bloody ic preggo tests are shit though... I must be well and truly upduffed but just have rubbish tests that can't prove it. I'm sure they're fine. I'm just well and truly not pregnant.

TTC has made me feel like a complete dunce! It is worrying how shoddy my knowledge is! maybe I had a hangover the day of that lecture

leonie I think, if I ovulated second lh surge around the 28th/29th then I'm probably about 11/12 dpo. But I'm reluctant to test. Mainly because I'd rather see if af arrives and then be slightly disappointed, than test and be wondering if it's too early and then have it arrive.

I think I'd be unlikely to have caught this month, mainly because I only did the second lot of okp's on a whim, we'd been at my parents the previous 4 days and had no chance of dtd!.. and was then shocked to have a positive, so we only managed to dtd twice before they went back to negatives. And I'm feeling crampy and heavy in my uterus, and my boobs are solid, swollen and sore, which is normal for me prior to af. With my cramps I've been sort of expecting to come on early tbh, but nothing yet, however every time I go to the toilet I'm now expecting to have started bleeding! So I'm sort of resigned to that now, and if it doesn't, and I get to test then Yay, but if I'm still cramping etc by Tuesday then I may not test altogether! If af does arrive, I'm going to have a gin & lemon with my dsis on her birthday! I might get a bottle of cava too! So not all bad news! Gotta keep looking for the positives!

Thanks Leonie, I plan to have a go on one later! Will only manage them after work so makes sense to wait until evening. Hope they work ok! no plans to wee in a Tupperware and keep it in my wardrobe though!
