Jan/Feb 2016 TTC - who's in?

Me and OH decided we WILL get pg either Jan or Feb... (We hope) had symptoms already this month.. Yippee!!! And bad ones at that.. The usual... Sore boobs frequent peeing, extremely veiny boobies, headache, nausea etc and this is all only 10dpo! Come along for the journey my fellow ttc-ers

Sounds like you will be finding out around about the time I will be ovulating tsipka.

I've finally... Got my smiley face!!! Had days of ovulation pain I swear on both sides so hopefully this ups my chance so.

Gosh this TTC is exhausting

I've mostly been lurking whilst waiting for ovulation but should be testing about the same time as tsipka so I'm still here! Nothing very interesting to report although quite a bit of cramping since OV last weekend and last night had what I'll call restless body syndrome that had me up and out of bed between 4am and 6am...feeling shattered today. Hope everyone is doing well!

Ok I read it wrong and am fertile apparently from tomorrow (Sunday) and ovulating Thursday so here we go again! I am pretty relaxed about it still and quietly confident this month. I have a feeling about it this time!

I think the two weeks I have that lead up to my fertile week are almost as slow as the 2ww afterwards. I really wish I had a shorter cycle, so I don't have to wait so long for each attempt.

Hi I'm going crazy here and I hope you don't mind me joining you! I am on day 23 (8 dpo) we went all out this month!
We are looking into adoption as nothing has happened in the past and to be honest I'm beyond fragile about it all!
I had slight cramping two days ago but no other symptoms....we've had two failed rounds of ivf dh had had a vasectomy which we've had successfully reversed!
Is anyone around the same stage as me? I don't want to test early as I want to keep the idea that I am pregnant alive.
Please help me

Hi Red I'm about the same as you - depending on what app I use I'm 8/9dpo. I am an IDIOT and tested this morning with a superdrug early detection and it was unsurprisingly negative. I'm now going to just grit my teeth and wait until Sunday at the earliest (I'm hoping I might make it to Weds next week as that would be after AF due, but based on my willpower this morning I'm not holding out much!)
I've also had cramping the last week and the worst muscle twitches at night since Friday which was 4/5dpo. I've never had these before. Had to work from home this morn as was up from 1:30 - 4:30am last night and am exhausted. It's mainly that that made me test as I've heard/read conflicting info about it and if it isn't pregnancy then it may be that a trip to the docs is in order for some bloods...
I like you want to keep the idea alive and know that my negative this morn doesn't mean I'm definitely not, but would say DON'T DO IT as I am now thinking it's unlikely!! it's too much of a head f*ck so totally agree it isn't worth it!

How long have you been trying? I havn't had IVF myself but hear it's not only expensive but also so so stressful and tiring. For what it's worth I think you considering adoption is a lovely thing to do but don't give up yet! It only takes one time for things to go right! Stay strong

H0p It's so hard to not test isn't it? I find myself wanting to test with over a week til AF expected and then I think 'no, I could just wait for AF day and SEE if I am for free..' never works though

Hi Vertical - it really is! I think the thing is you just want to know one way or the other...as this is only cycle 2 of trying I think I'll be okay if we're not in the club this month, but I hate having to wait for AF to find out if I can drink those three bottles of that bottle of wine or not!

And Red I echo everything Vertical said...apologies, I just went on about myself in that post. It's amazing how self obsessed you become with this whole marlarky.

Thank you all for being so lovely. Dh had his reversal nearly 2 years ago so it's been a long time...... I've only just gone to the dr and had blood tests done! Just being ignoring it and yet every month being devastated. Last month I ended up taking 2 days off work when af arrived, I'm a teacher and I couldn't go in and be happy!!
HOp im trying to hold off until at least Monday I'm due tues.....

So it isn't even O day until tomorrow and I already wish I could test! It's excruciating isn't it? No symptoms but then the only symptom I had in the entire first tri was sleeping constantly which with a 3 year old I obviously feel like doing anyway
Is anyone on the same sort of cycle this month? We can test together

So desperate to test too! Have a headache today....

AF due in 4 days... Done a few cheapie hpt all negative last one was yesterday stupid I know.

Now going to wait till AF date (I'm addicted to looking at people's faint lines! Then I jus have to test in case mine will come up then I stare at the test willing it to come up! Never has!)

Got too many symptoms this month. Also spotting for 5days a week ago don't have a clue what that was about!

Red I think I'm going to cave and test tomorrow again! Today I've been so nauseas and had hot flashes and my appetite is gone. I felt so ill I came home and took my temp on a normal thermometer as was convinced I was coming down with something. Temp was normal though. I'm sure its too early or it just isn't my month but I've got a stash of tests and my AF due date is ambiguous so figure it's not the worst thing I can do...I am a complete hypocrite and a pissy stick addict!! Are you going to hold out til Monday still? I tip my cap to you if so!!

demoiselle I totally hear you on staring at others faint lines and then thinking you'd bette r do your own just in case..it's bloody addictive! Spotting sounds like it could be implant bleed so seems positive! Sending you lots of baby dust

So according to my app today was supposed to be ovulation day, but I did an ovulation test an I'm no surge still? This is the first month I've tested like this out of curiosity. Is it possible I ovulate late in my cycle then? Annoyingly I can't change the ovulation date on my app which is annoying!

So I'm out this month ladies as AF made a sudden, unexpected appearance today. At least I have an idea of cycle length now and can start the next cycle with a load of data and understadning I didn't have before. Wishing you all lots of luck and I'm sure I will lurk and be back after OV in a couple of weeks.

Am trying the "relaxed, no stress TTC" (well thats the theory), after reaching the wrong side of 35.

came off pill in Oct after 5 years on.
Was very irregular before I went on the pill, but settled to a very regular 29 days. Am now at 34 days .... waiting..... but trying not to get carried away as i had a negative test yesterday.

TBH I would just like either AF or positive soon, as its this uncertainty which distracting me. (I know false negatives can occur).

Just got a positive opk unexpectedly early and so I think I have scuppered any chance for this month. I hate the whole ttc rollercoaster.

Still negative OPK but I'm 15 days after last AF =/ How late is it possible to ovulate? Weird fluttery cramps today.

I usually ovulate on cd20/21 Vertical but some women are much later.
