Jan/Feb 2016 TTC - who's in?

Me and OH decided we WILL get pg either Jan or Feb... (We hope) had symptoms already this month.. Yippee!!! And bad ones at that.. The usual... Sore boobs frequent peeing, extremely veiny boobies, headache, nausea etc and this is all only 10dpo! Come along for the journey my fellow ttc-ers
What's your TTC stories/symptoms ? First or second baba? Support & love x

We have been trying casually since September as my cycles were so long (7-10 weeks apart) and decided to properly try this month, even ordered ovulation kits which came today - had no idea I was pregnant as had hardly any symptoms. Last time I was so ill before my period was due.

Have you tried ovulation tests? I picked up 20 off amazon for about £3. Both times we weren't thinking about having a baby and just relaxed. It'll happen soon 😀

Hiya niggles yes ovulation kits , pills , ovia , monitor the lot! Will happen when I'm not expecting it I imagine! So pleased for you!

Hi @Jc, my cramps literally felt like strong period pains. I got spots on my face like normal before a period, and it felt a bit sore down there. I didn't test until I think I am 7 weeks when slight nausea washed over me one night after eating.

My cm had pretty much dried up - kinda elasticy (sorry tmi) which is why I was adamant my period was due anytime. I also had spotting for an hour which made me think it was period.

its so annoying isn't it that symptoms are practically the same?!

@Abella it'll happen like you say when you're not expecting. I wasn't expecting it at all :)

Oh hun i am exactly the same my cm has dried up now day 5 late with af i hate one smear of brown discharge 2 days ago an nothing since but ive came out in really bad acne an strong back pains .. Which is the same as my usual run up to AF symptoms .. Nightmare isnt it ! My boobs arnt sore in the slightest tho just as normal sorry if TMI!! Thats thenonly difference an i feel really bloated xx

I guess everyone's bodies are different. Are you going to do a test over the weekend if AF doesn't arrive?

I had spotting too which worried me, 3 and 6 weeks after my last period.

Hi guys, my very first post :)

I'm 32, married and trying for our first. We tried for the first time this month. It's bizarre - all those years of trying to avoid conception!

My cycle is like clockwork and I use an app to track it, so had a good idea of when I might be ovulating. My period is due on Thursday next week, so I'm in the insane wait period of symptom spotting .

So far I've had;
Ridiculously sore, swollen boobs. Bra leaving marks.
Weird temperature changes - I'm feeling the cold which I usually don't
Bit of an upset tummy in the mornings
Very emotional! Moved to tears very easily
More, clear CM than usual

I'm swaying between convincing myself I'm pg, and berating myself for getting carried away.

Never realised what a long wait it was from shag to pg test!!

Longest two weeks ever @suchajem. I have a good feeling this month because we really tried! There's a definite heat and an ache to one side down there. So hopeful!

Sounds funny I love my OH but I hate trying! So much pressure and sex becomes a function. I normally don't feel like it because I always get cramps when I'm ovulating! I just want a warm bath, cup of tea and a book!

I'm in! TTC #2 been NTNP for 3 months now we have decided to get serious! I'm taking pregnacare vits and have ovulation sticks and all that

am in the TWW now, will be testing on the 31st but as I'm irregular it still may not give me the answer I need, equally AF could show up before then, the swine!

Hi JC. I think I can on the second one but it's a squinter! Worth trying a FRER or a Superdug early detection one? Keeping everything crossed for you! So so so hope it's your BFP! Keep us posted if you take another test!

I'm officially crazy! I still have another week before AF is due. I had to pull the car over this morning to be sick. If I'm not pg what is happening to me! . I've got the Drs on Thursday morning to get help with my heavy periods all the time wondering if this month has worked. Argh!!!!

Been so absent lately!!! :( ovulating the past few days according to Ovia, been a very busy weekend if you know what I mean tmi!! Just had two sharp pains shoot across the very bottom of my belly, no idea what that could be but of course the baby brain is back on already!! Every little thing will be a symptom now!! Oh joys of the 2ww! Has anyone had any BFP's this month?
